Description
Claims (27)
- 検出装置において、
対象物質を検出するための検出器と、
蒸気を前記検出器に注出し得る第1マイクロ流体チャンネルを含むマイクロ流体チャンネル組立体を有する空気圧システムであって、前記第1マイクロ流体チャンネルは、ポリマー本体の表面における細長の溝を有し、また前記第1マイクロ流体チャンネルの壁は、前記溝上で前記本体の前記表面に接合されるポリマーフィルムによって形成されるものである、該空気圧システムと、
を備え、
前記ポリマーフィルム及びポリマー本体は、細長のトラックに沿って少なくとも部分的に融着され、
前記細長の溝は両側を前記細長のトラックによって区切られる、検出装置。 - 請求項1記載の検出装置において、前記検出装置は、イオン移動度分析装置を構成する、検出装置。
- 請求項1又は2記載の検出装置において、前記ポリマーフィルムは1mm未満の厚さを有するポリマーフィルムから成り、また前記本体は少なくとも2mmの厚さを有するポリマー本体から成り、前記ポリマーフィルム及び前記ポリマー本体は同一ポリマーから成るものである、検出装置。
- 請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一項記載の検出装置において、前記マイクロ流体チャンネル組立体は、蒸気を前記検出器に注出し得る蒸気ディスペンサであり、また前記ポリマーフィルムは、前記蒸気が前記壁から拡散するのを可能にするよう構成されている、検出装置。
- 請求項1記載の検出装置において、前記細長トラックは、前記細長溝の長さに沿って選択された距離より短い距離だけ前記細長溝から離れ、前記距離は、前記ポリマーフィルムの厚さ及び前記細長トラックの幅のうち少なくとも一方によって決定される、検出装置。
- 請求項1、3又は5記載の検出装置において、前記ポリマーフィルムの未融着領域は、前記細長トラックを細長溝から離間させる、検出装置。
- 請求項1、3、5又は6記載の検出装置において、前記細長トラックは前記細長溝に平行に延びている、検出装置。
- 請求項1、3又は5〜7のうちいずれか一項記載の検出装置において、前記細長トラックは、前記細長溝の両脇における互いに対向する大きな側面上に配列される少なくとも2つの細長トラックを有する、検出装置。
- 請求項1、3又は5〜8のうちいずれか一項記載の検出装置において、前記ポリマーフィルムの材料における少なくとも1種類の光透過特性は、前記ポリマー本体の材料における同一種類の光透過特性とは異なるものである、検出装置。
- 請求項9記載の検出装置において、前記光透過特性は、屈折率、及び500nm〜1500nmの波長帯域における光エネルギーの熱吸収度のうち少なくとも一方を含む、検出装置。
- 請求項1、3又は5〜10のうちいずれか一項記載の検出装置において、前記ポリマー本体は添加物を含み、前記添加物は、光エネルギーを吸収して熱エネルギーを発生させる材料を含む、検出装置。
- 請求項3又は5〜11のうちいずれか一項記載の検出装置において、前記トラックに沿って前記ポリマーフィルムの材料は、前記本体の材料内に少なくとも部分的に拡散する、検出装置。
- 請求項3記載の検出装置において、前記ポリマーはPEEKを含む、検出装置。
- 請求項1又は3記載の検出装置において、前記ポリマーフィルムは、シリコーン薄膜及び150ミクロン未満の厚さを有するポリマーフィルムのうち一方から成る、検出装置。
- 請求項14記載の検出装置において、さらに、吸収媒体の第1カートリッジを備え、前記第1カートリッジは、前記ポリマーフィルムに着座し得る開口を有し、前記吸収媒体が前記ポリマーフィルムから拡散する蒸気を吸収できるようにする、検出装置。
- 請求項15記載の検出装置において、前記第1カートリッジを前記ポリマーフィルムに保持し得る第1着座部を備える、検出装置。
- 請求項16記載の検出装置において、カートリッジを前記第1着座部から開放し、また前記カートリッジを前記着座部に固定するよう可逆的に作用可能である第1着脱部材を備える、検出装置。
- 請求項14〜17のうちいずれか一項記載の検出装置において、さらに、蒸気貯蔵部を備える、検出装置。
- 請求項18記載の検出装置において、前記蒸気貯蔵部をポンプに接続する第2マイクロ流体チャンネルを備える、検出装置。
- 請求項19記載の検出装置において、前記蒸気貯蔵部を接続するための着座部であって、前記第2チャンネルから流体圧力を受け入れ、また蒸気を前記第1マイクロ流体チャンネルに供給する、該着座部を備える、検出装置。
- 請求項1記載の検出装置のマイクロ流体チャンネルを形成する方法であって、
少なくとも2mmの厚さを有するポリマー本体の表面に配置される細長溝を有する該ポリマー本体を準備するステップと、
1mm未満の厚さを有するポリマーフィルムを前記表面に組み付けるステップと、
前記ポリマーフィルムを、前記表面に沿い前記細長溝に追従する細長トラックに沿って前記ポリマー本体に融着し、これにより前記ポリマーフィルム及び前記細長トラックがともに前記細長溝を包囲してマイクロ流体チャンネルを形成するようにするステップと、
を備える、方法。 - 請求項21記載の方法において、前記ポリマーフィルムを前記ポリマー本体に融着するステップは、前記細長溝の長さに沿い前記細長溝に追従する溶接トラックに沿ってレーザーを印加するステップを含む、方法。
- 請求項22記載の方法において、前記トラックは、選択された距離より短い距離だけ前記細長溝から離れ、前記距離は、前記ポリマーフィルムの厚さ及びレーザーパワーのうち少なくとも一方に基づいて選択されるものである、方法。
- 請求項23記載の方法において、前記距離は、前記ポリマーフィルムの未融着領域が前記細長トラックを前記細長溝から引き離すのを確実にするよう選択されるものである、方法。
- 請求項21〜24のうちいずれか一項記載の方法において、前記レーザーパワーは、50ワット未満、例えば10〜50ワットの間におけるワット数、例えば約30ワットである、方法。
- 請求項21〜25のうちいずれか一項記載の方法において、前記レーザーはファイバレーザーである、方法。
- 請求項21〜25のうちいずれか一項記載の方法において、前記ポリマー本体は、1060nm〜1080nmの波長帯域における光に曝されるとき発熱し得る材料を含む、方法。
