Claims (18)
- ヘッドマウント仮想現実(VR)ビューア(100)であって、
ディスプレイパネル(612)に関連するタッチスクリーン(112)を有するポータブルユーザデバイス(102)を着脱可能に組み込むための筐体(104)と、
前記ポータブルユーザデバイスが前記筐体に組み込まれている時に前記ポータブルユーザデバイスの前記タッチスクリーンにおいて対応するタッチイベントのトリガを行うように前記筐体内に配置されている3つ以上の導電性接触子(121,122,123,124,211,212,401,402)からなる1組の導電性接触子と、
を備え、前記導電性接触子は、2以上の方向の軸に沿って互いに固定距離離れて設けられ、前記3つ以上の導電性接触子は、物理的な基準座標系と基準面とを前記ポータブルユーザデバイス(102)に提供するヘッドマウントVRビューア。 - 前記1組の導電性接触子は、前記タッチスクリーンにおいてタッチ応答のトリガを行うように寸法決定されている導電性接触子(300)を含む、請求項1に記載のヘッドマウントVRビューア。
- ユーザの体に接触するための1つ以上の導電性ユーザ接触領域(404)と、
前記1つ以上の導電性ユーザ接触領域を前記1組の導電性接触子に結合する1組の導電性相互接続部(407,408)と、
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のヘッドマウントVRビューア。 - 前記1つ以上の導電性ユーザ接触領域は、前記ヘッドマウントVRビューアが前記ユーザの頭にマウントされているとき、前記ユーザの手および前記ユーザの前記頭のうち1つと接触するように前記筐体上に配置されている、請求項3に記載のヘッドマウントVRビューア。
- 前記1組の導電性相互接続部のうちの複数の導電性相互接続部は、導電性配線、導電箔、導電性織物、および導電性インクのうち1つ以上から構成される、請求項3に記載のヘッドマウントVRビューア。
- 前記筐体は、前記ポータブルユーザデバイスが配置されるデバイス保持区画(110)を備え、前記デバイス保持区画は、ディスプレイ開口部(126)であって、前記ポータブルユーザデバイスの前記ディスプレイパネルが前記ディスプレイ開口部(126)を通じてユーザにより見られる、前記ディスプレイ開口部(126)を備え、
前記1組の導電性接触子は前記ディスプレイ開口部の周辺に配置されている、
請求項1に記載のヘッドマウントVRビューア。 - 前記ポータブルユーザデバイスをさらに備え、前記ポータブルユーザデバイスが、導電性接触子によりトリガが行われる各々のタッチイベントについて前記タッチスクリーン上の場所(231,232)を検出し、検出された1つ以上の前記場所に基づいて前記筐体に対する前記ディスプレイパネルの向き(224)を決定し、決定された前記向きに基づいて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスの1つ以上の表示動作を構成する、
請求項1に記載のヘッドマウントVRビューア。 - ポータブルユーザデバイス(102)が着脱可能に組み込まれる、ヘッドマウント仮想現実(VR)ビューア(100)において、
前記ヘッドマウント仮想現実(VR)ビューア(100)の筐体(104)の中に前記ポータブルユーザデバイスを組み込むことに応じて、前記筐体の1組の導電性接触子のうちの1つの導電性接触子(211,212)によりトリガが行われる各々のタッチイベントについて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスのタッチスクリーン上のそれぞれの場所(231,232)を決定する工程と、
前記ポータブルユーザデバイスにおいて、各々のタッチイベントについて決定された前記場所に基づいて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスのディスプレイパネル(612)の向き(234)を決定する向き決定工程と、を備える方法。 - 前記向きに基づいて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスの1つ以上の表示動作を構成する動作構成工程をさらに備える、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記動作構成工程は、前記向きと前記ディスプレイパネルの期待される向き(224)との間の差が指定される閾値未満であることに応じて、前記1つ以上の表示動作を構成する工程を含み、
前記方法は、前記差が前記指定される閾値より大きいことに応じて、前記筐体内の前記ポータブルユーザデバイスを手動で再び位置調整するようにユーザに対して聴覚的または視覚的な指示を提供する工程をさらに備える、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記動作構成工程は、前記ディスプレイパネルを介してユーザに対し表示される仮想現実画像の向きを構成する工程を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルの前記向きは、前記筐体に対する、前記ディスプレイパネルの指定される向き(224)に対する前記ディスプレイパネルの実際の向き(234)を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記向き決定工程は、
導電性接触子によりトリガが行われるタッチイベントについての前記タッチスクリーン上の実際の場所(231,232)と前記タッチイベントについての期待される場所(221,222)との間のオフセットを決定する工程と、
前記ディスプレイパネルの配置と前記ディスプレイパネルの回転とのうちの1つ以上を前記オフセットに基づいて決定する工程と、
を備える、請求項8に記載の方法。 - ポータブルユーザデバイス(102)であって、
タッチスクリーン(112)と、
ディスプレイパネル(612)と、
1組の実行可能な命令(616)を記憶するためのメモリ(604)と、
前記タッチスクリーンと、前記ディスプレイパネルと、前記メモリとに結合されており、前記1組の実行可能な命令を実行するためのプロセッサ(602)と、を備え、前記1組の実行可能な命令の実行によって前記プロセッサは、
ヘッドマウント仮想現実(VR)ビューア(100)の筐体(104)の中に前記ポータブルユーザデバイスを着脱可能に組み込むことに応じて、前記筐体の1組の導電性接触子のうちの1つの導電性接触子(121,122,123,124,211,212,401,402)によりトリガが行われる各々のタッチイベントについて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスのタッチスクリーン(112)上のそれぞれの場所(231,232)を決定する工程と、
各々のタッチイベントについて決定された前記場所に基づいて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスのディスプレイパネル(612)の向き(234)を決定する工程と、を行うように操作される、ポータブルユーザデバイス。 - 前記1組の実行可能な命令の実行によって前記プロセッサは、
前記向きに基づいて前記ポータブルユーザデバイスの1つ以上の表示動作を構成するようにさらに操作される、請求項14に記載のポータブルユーザデバイス。 - 前記ポータブルユーザデバイスの前記1つ以上の表示動作を構成するための前記プロセッサの操作は、前記ディスプレイパネルを介してユーザに対し表示される仮想現実画像の向きを構成することを含む、請求項15に記載のポータブルユーザデバイス。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルの前記向きは、前記筐体に対する、前記ディスプレイパネルの指定される向き(224)に対する前記ディスプレイパネルの実際の向き(234)を含む、請求項14に記載のポータブルユーザデバイス。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルの前記向きを決定するための前記プロセッサの操作は、
導電性接触子によりトリガが行われる前記タッチイベントの場所と前記タッチイベントについての期待される場所との間のオフセットを決定することと、
前記ディスプレイパネルの配置と前記ディスプレイパネルの回転とのうちの1つ以上を前記オフセットに基づいて決定することと、を行うための前記プロセッサの操作を含む、請求項14に記載のポータブルユーザデバイス。
