Claims (17)
- マルチメディア通信リンクを介して通信を行う送信装置であって、
補助データ及び音声データの少なくとも一方を含むデータアイランドデータを受信する符号化回路と、
ビデオブランキング期間のブランキング状態に対応するブランキング期間データを受信し、前記ブランキング期間データを圧縮して圧縮ブランキング期間データにする圧縮回路と、
前記マルチメディア通信リンクの一つ以上のマルチメディアチャネルを介して、前記データアイランドデータ及び前記圧縮ブランキング期間データを送信するインタフェースと、を有し、
前記データアイランドデータは、前記圧縮回路によって圧縮されず、
前記圧縮回路は、前記ブランキング期間データを前記データアイランドデータにより区切られる異なる部分に分割して各部分を個別に圧縮することにより、前記ブランキング期間データを圧縮する、送信装置。 - 前記圧縮回路は、前記圧縮ブランキング期間データの圧縮について示すブランキング圧縮情報を生成し、
前記インタフェースは、前記マルチメディア通信リンクを介して前記ブランキング圧縮情報を送信する、請求項1に記載の送信装置。 - 前記圧縮ブランキング期間データは、前記ビデオブランキング期間中の状態変化を示すブランキングイベントを含む、請求項1に記載の送信装置。
- 前記圧縮回路は、前記ブランキング期間データに連長圧縮を適用して前記ブランキング期間データを圧縮することで、前記圧縮ブランキング期間データを生成する、請求項1に記載の送信装置。
- 少なくとも一回の前記ビデオブランキング期間について、前記圧縮回路は、前記ブランキング期間データを前記ブランキング期間データのブランキング状態の持続時間を示す単一セットのブランキングタイミング情報に圧縮することにより、前記ブランキング期間データを圧縮する、請求項1に記載の送信装置。
- 前記送信装置は、追加ビデオブランキング期間を圧縮ビデオデータに置き換え、
前記インタフェースは、前記マルチメディア通信リンクの一つ以上のマルチメディアチャネルを介して、前記圧縮ビデオデータに対応する信号を送信する、請求項1に記載の送信装置。 - マルチメディア通信リンクを介して通信を行う受信装置であって、
前記マルチメディア通信リンクの一つ以上のマルチメディアチャネルを介して、データアイランドデータ及び圧縮ブランキング期間データを受信するインタフェースを有し、
前記圧縮ブランキング期間データは、前記データアイランドデータで区切られる複数の部分を含み、
前記圧縮ブランキング期間データの前記部分をビデオブランキング期間のブランキング状態に対応するブランキング期間データに展開する展開回路を有し、
前記データアイランドデータは、前記展開回路によって展開されない、受信装置。 - 前記インタフェースは更に、前記マルチメディア通信リンクを介して、前記圧縮ブランキング期間データの圧縮について示すブランキング圧縮情報を受信し、
前記展開回路は、前記ブランキング圧縮情報に基づいて前記圧縮ブランキング期間データを展開する、請求項7に記載の受信装置。 - 前記圧縮ブランキング期間データはブランキングデータ中の状態変化を示すブランキングイベントを含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の受信装置。
- 前記圧縮ブランキング期間データに連長展開を適用して前記圧縮ブランキング期間データを展開することで、前記ブランキング期間データを生成する、請求項7に記載の受信装置。
- 少なくとも一回の前記ビデオブランキング期間について、前記圧縮ブランキング期間データは、前記ブランキング期間データのブランキング状態に対応する単一セットのブランキングタイミング情報を含み、
前記展開回路は、前記単一セットのタイミング情報を前記ブランキング期間データに展開する、請求項7に記載の受信装置。 - マルチメディア通信リンクを介して通信を行うために送信装置によって実行される方法であって、
補助データ及び音声データの少なくとも一方を含むデータアイランドデータを受信するステップと、
ビデオブランキング期間のブランキング状態に対応するブランキング期間データを受信し、前記ブランキング期間データを圧縮して圧縮ブランキング期間データにするステップと、
前記マルチメディア通信リンクの一つ以上のマルチメディアチャネルを介して、前記データアイランドデータ及び前記圧縮ブランキング期間データを送信するステップと、を有し、
前記データアイランドデータは圧縮されず、
前記ブランキング期間データの圧縮は、前記ブランキング期間データを前記データアイランドデータにより区切られる異なる部分に分割して各部分を個別に圧縮することによって行われる、方法。 - 前記圧縮ブランキング期間データの圧縮について示すブランキング圧縮情報を生成するステップと、
前記マルチメディア通信リンクを介して前記ブランキング圧縮情報を送信するステップと、を有する請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記圧縮ブランキング期間データは、前記ビデオブランキング期間中の状態変化を示すブランキングイベントを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記圧縮ブランキング期間データの生成は、前記ブランキング期間データに連長圧縮を適用して前記ブランキング期間データを圧縮することによって行われる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ブランキング期間データの圧縮は、少なくとも一回の前記ビデオブランキング期間について、前記ブランキング期間データを前記ブランキング期間データのブランキング状態の持続時間を表す単一セットのブランキングタイミング情報に圧縮することによって行われる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- マルチメディア通信リンクを介して通信を行うために受信装置によって実行される方法であって、
前記マルチメディア通信リンクの一つ以上のマルチメディアチャネルを介して、データアイランドデータ及び圧縮ブランキング期間データを受信するステップを有し、
前記圧縮ブランキング期間データは、前記データアイランドデータで区切られる複数の部分を含み、
前記圧縮ブランキング期間データの前記部分をビデオブランキング期間のブランキング状態に対応するブランキング期間データに展開するステップを有し、
