Description
知見1:ガスの分子径は、分子が速度を持つことによって、衝突時において基本直径σから弾性的に変化すること。
知見2:変化する分子径は、速度を持たずに引力や斥力によって与えられるポテンシャルエネルギーのみで衝突する場合の基本直径σに比べて縮小すること。
知見3:ガスの分子径が縮小変化する量は、分子の持つポテンシャルエネルギーの量によって異なること。
知見4:ガスの分子が持つポテンシャルエネルギーを構成するエネルギーには、並進エネルギー,回転エネルギー,振動エネルギーが存在するが、これらのエネルギーの中で分子の速度に影響を与えるのは主に並進エネルギーと回転エネルギーであること。
知見5:ポテンシャルエネルギーは温度によって異なるため、ガスの分子径は、温度の変化に起因して基本直径σから弾性的に縮小変化可能であること。
知見6:沸点における分子径を表す基本直径σは、沸点から温度が上昇するに伴って縮小方向に弾性的に変化可能となること。
知見7:ガスの分子径は、沸点以上の温度において、基本直径σより大きくなることはないこと。
知見8:ガスの分子の速度は一定の分布を有しており、同一温度であっても速度の異なる分子群として構成されること。

R32も同量流すとすれば脱着時のR32の純度は、次の計算によって求められ、ゼオライトLTAの細孔を通過し、細孔を通過できないR22と1度の分離操作で分離されて吸着されるR32の純度は97.9%である。
R32の純度:1−2.137/(100+2.137)=97.9%
よって、この純度97.9%以上で使用可能な用途であれば、1度の分離操作で再使用可能であるし、この純度以上が必要なら、本実施例における運転温度0℃から温度を変えて同様の試算を繰り返すことで最適条件を見つけることが可能となる。
200×0.02137×0.025/1.17=0.0913ml/min
よって、2度目の分離操作を行ったR32の純度は、99.954%である。

Claims (11)
- 分離対象としての目的ガスを含む複数のガスを含有するガス体を多孔質素材からなる分離手段に供給し、目的ガスを多孔質素材の細孔を通過させ、又は通過させないことによって、ガス体から目的ガスを分離するガスの分離方法であって、
ガス体の温度を特定温度に制御することによって、ガス体が多孔質素材の細孔に衝突した際のガス体を構成する各ガスの分子直径を、衝突直径の分布範囲に縮小変化させ、
特定温度に保持したガス体を、目的ガスと、その他のガスの衝突直径の分布範囲を基準として選択した多孔質素材からなる分離手段に供給することを特徴とするガスの分離方法
(なお、衝突直径とは、特定温度において、ガス体を構成する各ガスの分子の速度が分子毎に異なることに起因して、特定の速度で多孔質素材の細孔に衝突した各ガスの分子が分子毎に縮小変化する最小の分子直径をいい、衝突直径の分布範囲とは、ガス体を構成する各ガスの特定温度における衝突直径の上限値から下限値の範囲をいう)。 - 衝突直径の上限値から下限値の範囲は、特定温度におけるガス体を構成する各ガス毎の分子の最低速度の衝突直径から最高速度の衝突直径までの範囲である請求項1記載のガスの分離方法。
- ガスの温度を、ガスが変質しない温度範囲で制御する請求項1又は2記載のガスの分離方法。
- ガスの温度を、−70℃〜300℃の温度範囲において制御する請求項1,2又は3記載のガスの分離方法。
- 多孔質素材として、目的ガス又はその他のガスのどちらか一方の衝突直径の分布範囲より大径であって、かつ、他方の衝突直径の分布範囲より小径の細孔径を有する多孔質素材を選択する請求項1,2,3又は4記載のガスの分離方法。
- 細孔径が均一サイズに特定された多孔質素材を使用する請求項1,2,3,4又は5記載のガスの分離方法。
- 細孔径が一定範囲に分布し、該細孔径の分布の上限が、目的ガス又はその他のガスのどちらか一方の衝突直径の分布範囲より大径であって、かつ、他方の衝突直径の分布範囲より小径である多孔質素材を使用する請求項1,2,3,4又は5記載のガスの分離方法。
- 多孔質素材の原料がゼオライト,金属有機構造体(MOF:Metal Organic Frameworks),又は分子ふるい炭素を原料として形成された請求項1,2,3,4,5,6又は7記載のガスの分離方法。
- ガス体が、クロロフルオロカーボン(CFC)類,ハイドロクロロフルオロカーボン(HCFC)類,ハイドロフルオロカーボン(HFC)類,テトラフルオロメタン(CF4)を含むパーフルオロカーボン(PFC)類,六フッ化硫黄(SF6),ハロン類,四塩化炭素(CCl4 ),トリクロロエタン,メタン,臭化メチル,ヘリウム,窒素酸化物(NOx),二酸化炭素(CO2),硫黄酸化物(SOx),水素(H2),窒素(N2),酸素(O2),アルゴン(Ar)から選択された1又は複数のガスを含んでいる請求項1,2,3,4,5,6,7又は8記載のガスの分離方法。
- 分離手段が多孔質素材の分離膜からなる請求項1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8又は9記載のガスの分離方法。
- 分離手段が多孔質素材の吸着剤からなる請求項1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8又は9記載のガスの分離方法。
