Claims (18)
- RJ45規格に準拠したネットワークインターフェースコネクタであって、
ジャックハウジングと、
リジッドプリント基板(PCB)と、
前記ジャックハウジング内に配置され、プラグコンタクト係合部とPCB取付部をそれぞれ有する複数の細長コンタクトを備えたジャックコンタクトアセンブリであって、前記プラグコンタクト係合部と前記PCB取付部との間に信号経路を画定すると共に前記複数の細長コンタクトの前記プラグコンタクト係合部がそれぞれ互いに対して実質的に同一平面上にあるように各細長コンタクトが構成された、ジャックコンタクトアセンブリと、
前記複数の細長コンタクトのそれぞれにそれぞれのFCB取付部を介して結合され且つ前記画定された信号経路から位置ずれした1つ又は複数のフレキシブル回路基板(FCB)と、を備え、
前記1つ又は複数のFCBは、少なくとも第1及び第2の銅層をそれぞれの反対面に有し前記画定された信号経路より位置ずれしたフレキシブル基板を含み、前記第1及び第2の銅層の双方を見た時の前記第1及び第2の銅層にそれぞれ関連する第1及び第2の銅板の重複部分に前記第1及び第2の銅層における位置3又は位置6が共通に接続されるように、前記第1及び第2の銅層が形成されて、係合したそれぞれのコンタクト間の制御されたキャパシタンスの補償を提供するように構成され、前記制御されたキャパシタンスの値が、制御された誘電率、前記フレキシブル基板の厚さ及び前記第1及び第2の銅板の重複部分の面積に基づき、前記1つ又は複数のFCBの前記制御されたキャパシタンスが、前記ジャックコンタクトアセンブリに結合された隣接するプラグコンタクト間の常駐キャパシタンスを効果的にキャンセルする
ネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。 - 前記細長コンタクトはそれぞれ、前記プラグコンタクト係合部及び前記PCB取付部にそれぞれ対応する第1及び第2の対向端部を有し、前記FCB取付部は、前記細長コンタクトの中間部から延びる相互接続ブランチをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記関連するFCB取付部を含む各細長コンタクトは、単一のベース材料から一体的に形成される、請求項2に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記1つ又は複数の細長コンタクトのFCB取付部が、前記細長コンタクトの中間部の中央領域からせん断され、外側に延びてそれぞれの相互接続ブランチを形成する、請求項3に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記細長コンタクトのそれぞれは、前記PCB取付部及び前記FCB取付部にそれぞれ対応する第1及び第2の対向端部を有し、前記プラグコンタクト係合部は、前記細長コンタクトの中間部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記複数の細長コンタクトは、第1及び第2の外側コンタクト及び複数の内側コンタクトを備え、前記第1及び第2の外側コンタクトは、前記複数の内側コンタクトより長く、それぞれの相手プラグコンタクトとの係合を開始しさらに該相手プラグコンタクトを前記内側コンタクトと係合するように案内するように構成される、請求項5に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記細長コンタクトはそれぞれ、第1及び第2の部材を含み、前記第1及び第2の部材の各々は、前記PCB取付部としての隣接する第1の端部を有し、前記第1の部材は、前記第2の部材から旋回し且つFCB取付部を画定する第2の端部を有し、前記第2の部材は前記第1の部材よりも長く前記プラグコンタクト係合部を画定する、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記細長コンタクトのそれぞれは、前記プラグコンタクト係合部及び前記PCB取付部にそれぞれ対応する第1及び第2の対向端部を有し、前記FCB取付部は、前記細長コンタクトの中間部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 各前記FCBの可撓性基板は、それぞれの細長コンタクトのFCB取付部に連結され中心軸の周りに弓形構成に曲げられ、該中心軸の対向面に適用される第1及び第2の銅層をさらに含む、請求項8に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記第1の銅板は、前記第2の銅板に対して小さく且つ前記第1及び第2の銅層の双方を見て前記第2の銅板の輪郭内にある、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- さらに、前記細長コンタクトのそれぞれを中に受け入れる少なくとも1つのコンタクトアライメント部材を備える、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのコンタクトアライメント部材が、前記細長コンタクト上にモールドされ且つ絶縁材料で形成される、請求項11に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記細長コンタクトのそれぞれは、前記プラグコンタクトと信号出力部との間で前記少なくとも1つのコンタクトアライメント部材に結合される、請求項11に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記ジャックハウジングの内壁と前記少なくとも1つのコンタクトアライメント部材との間に取付られた電気的に絶縁された圧縮バネをさらに備え、前記ジャックコンタクトアセンブリに垂直力を加えるように構成される、請求項11に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記細長コンタクトの第1のセットの前記PCB取付部が第1の同一平面アレイに保持され、前記細長コンタクトの第2のセットのPCB取付部が前記第1の同一平面アレイに平行な第2の同一平面アレイに保持される、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記細長コンタクトを取り囲み且つ前記細長コンタクトを受け入れるように構成された埋込保護スロットを有する絶縁コンタクトガイドフレーム、及び前記コンタクトガイドフレームから延びるリブをさらに備え、挿入プロセス中にプラグコンタクトと係合して案内する、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記ジャックハウジングをカプセル化するジャックシールドをさらに備え、前記ジャックコンタクトアセンブリと係合するときに前記リジッドPCBとプラグコネクタとの間に電気接地経路をさらに提供する、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
- 前記各コンタクトの前記FCB取付部分は、各コンタクト間の前記制御されたキャパシタンスの補償がジャックプラグインターフェースのすぐ近くで提供されるように構成される、請求項1に記載のネットワークインターフェースコネクタ。
