食物基質および培養されるべき生物を収容するバッグ内部を画定するため、側縁部に沿って接合される第1の壁部および第2の壁部を備えるバッグであって、前記第1の壁部および前記第2の壁部のうち少なくとも一方は、中央開口部を備えるポリオレフィンフィルム層から形成され、水蒸気透過性材料の層は、それを介して水蒸気が通過することを可能にする前記中央開口部を覆うために、前記第1の壁部および前記第2の壁部のうちの少なくとも一方に接合される、バッグと、
前記第1の壁部および前記第2の壁部のうちの少なくとも一方と剥離可能に連結される、異なるポリオレフィンのガス不透過フィルム層から形成されるバッグ壁部被覆層であって、前記被覆層は、それを介してガスが通過することを防ぐために前記水蒸気透過性材料の層に重ね、前記バッグ壁部被覆層は、開口部を覆うガスフィルタパッチを具備する前記開口部を備え、前記ガスフィルタパッチを介した周囲の空気への、かつ周囲の空気からの、酸素および二酸化炭素ガスの通過を可能にして、前記バッグの前記内部の中の前記生物のインキュベーションを容易にし、前記バッグ壁部被覆層は、水蒸気が、前記水蒸気透過性材料の層を介して周囲の空気へ通過することを可能にし、インキュベーションが完了した後に、前記バッグの内容物を乾燥させることを容易にするために、前記バッグから取り外し可能である、バッグ壁部被覆層と、
を備える、培養バッグ組立体。 - 前記バッグ壁部被覆は、熱溶接によって前記バッグと剥離可能に連結され、前記相異なるポリオレフィン材料は、前記バッグ壁部被覆の前記バッグからの剥離性を促進するため、熱溶接後に十分低い結合強度を有する、請求項10に記載のバッグ組立体。
- 前記バッグおよび前記バッグ壁部被覆のうちの一方は、ポリプロピレンから形成され、他方は、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)から形成される、請求項10または11に記載のバッグ組立体。
- 前記第1の壁部および前記第2の壁部の両方が、中央開口部を備えるポリオレフィンフィルム膜から形成され、水蒸気透過性材料の層は、前記中央開口部を覆い、それを介して水蒸気の通過を可能にするように、前記第1の壁部および前記第2の壁部のそれぞれに接合される、請求項10から12のいずれか1項に記載のバッグ組立体。
- 前記水蒸気透過性材料の層は、不織ポリオレフィン繊維材料から構成される、請求項10から13のいずれか1項に記載のバッグ組立体。
- 前記バッグは、管状の形状を有する単一のフィルム層から、少なくとも部分的に構成される、請求項10から14のいずれか1項に記載のバッグ組立体。
- 前記水蒸気透過性材料は、5以上のパーマレーティングを有する、請求項10から15のいずれか1項に記載のバッグ組立体。
- 微生物、真菌、および他の生物を培養する培養バッグ組立体を作成する方法であって、
食物基質および培養されるべき生物を収容するバッグ内部を画定するため、側縁部に沿って接合される第1の壁部および第2の壁部を備えるバッグを形成するステップであって、前記第1の壁部および前記第2の壁部のうち少なくとも一方は、それを介して水蒸気が通過することを可能にする、水蒸気透過性材料の層で構成されている、ステップと、
ガス不透過層から形成されるバッグ壁部被覆層を、前記バッグと剥離可能に連結するステップであって、前記被覆層は、それを介してガスが通過することを防ぐために前記水蒸気透過性材料の層に重ね、前記バッグ壁部被覆層は、開口部を覆うガスフィルタパッチを具備する前記開口部を備え、前記ガスフィルタパッチを介した周囲の空気への、かつ周囲の空気からの、酸素および二酸化炭素ガスの通過を可能にして、前記バッグの前記内部の中の前記生物のインキュベーションを容易にし、前記バッグ壁部被覆層は、水蒸気が、前記水蒸気透過性材料の層を介して周囲の空気へ通過することを可能にし、インキュベーションが完了した後に、前記バッグの内容物を乾燥させることを容易にするために、前記バッグから取り外し可能である、ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記バッグおよび前記バッグ壁部被覆は、それぞれ相異なるポリオレフィン材料から形成され、前記バッグ壁部被覆は、熱溶接によって前記バッグと剥離可能に連結され、前記相異なるポリオレフィン材料は、前記バッグ壁部被覆の前記バッグからの剥離性を促進するため、熱溶接に対して十分低い結合強度を有する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記バッグおよび前記バッグ壁部被覆のうちの一方は、ポリプロピレンから形成され、他方は、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)から形成される、請求項17または18に記載の方法。
- 前記バッグ組立体は、ガンマ照射によって滅菌される、請求項17から19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
