前記物体を補足するデータの表現を決定することと;
前記透過型ディスプレイ上で前記表現を提示させることと;
前記表現の前記ユーザによる知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記ユーザとの間に配置された第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整することと;
前記第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを前記調整した後の、前記ユーザによる前記物体の知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記物体との間に配置された第2の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整することと;
を含む。
ある実施形態に従う装置は、
透過型ディスプレイを介してユーザによって視認可能な物体に対応する、ユーザのフォーカス距離を、前記ユーザの視軸の交点に基づいて求める手段と;
前記物体を補足するデータの表現を決定する手段と;
前記透過型ディスプレイ上で前記表現を提示させる手段と;
前記表現の前記ユーザによる知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記ユーザとの間に配置された第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整する手段と;
前記第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを前記調整した後の、前記ユーザによる前記物体の知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記物体との間に配置された第2の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整する手段と;
を備える。
Claims (18)
- 透過型ディスプレイを介してユーザによって視認可能な物体に対応する、ユーザのフォーカス距離を、前記ユーザの視軸の交点に基づいて求めること、ただし前記フォーカス距離は前記ユーザの目から前記物体までの距離と一致し、前記ユーザの視軸の交点は前記ユーザの両眼の輻輳に関連する、前記求めることと;
前記物体を補足するデータの表現を決定することと;
前記透過型ディスプレイ上で前記表現を提示させることと;
前記表現の前記ユーザによる知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記ユーザとの間に配置された第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整することと;
前記第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを前記調整した後の、前記ユーザによる前記物体の知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記物体との間に配置された第2の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整することと;を含み、前記決定することは、前記フォーカス距離に基づいて、前記表現に視覚的効果を 付加するか否かを決定することを含む、方法。 - 前記視覚的効果は、ぼかし、陰影、色の少なくとも一つである、請求項1に記載の方法 。
- 前記物体に対応するフォーカス距離の変化を判断することと;
前記変化に基づいて前記表現を更新させることと;
をさらに含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 前記物体が関心対象であるかどうかに基づいて前記表現を決定することをさらに含む、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザが前記物体を見ているかどうかに基づいて前記関心対象を判断することをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記透過型ディスプレイはニア・アイ透過型ディスプレイである、請求項1から5のい ずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記透過型ディスプレイはライトガイドを含む、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記透過型ディスプレイに仮想物体の表現を表示することを更に含む、請求項1から7の何れかに記載の方法であって、前記仮想物体の前記表現は、前記仮想物体の表現距離に応じたぼかし効果を付加されて表示される、方法。
- 処理手段と記憶手段とを有する装置であって、
前記記憶手段はプログラム命令を格納し、該プログラム命令は、前記処理手段で実行されると、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の方法を前記装置に遂行させるように構成される、装置。 - 装置の処理手段で実行されると、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の方法を前記装置に遂行させるように構成されるプログラム命令を有するコンピュータプログラム。
- 透過型ディスプレイを介してユーザによって視認可能な物体に対応する、ユーザのフォーカス距離を、前記ユーザの視軸の交点に基づいて求める手段、ただし前記フォーカス距離は前記ユーザの目から前記物体までの距離と一致し、前記ユーザの視軸の交点は前記ユーザの両眼の輻輳に関連する、前記求める手段と;
前記物体を補足するデータの表現を決定する手段と;
前記透過型ディスプレイ上で前記表現を提示させる手段と;
前記表現の前記ユーザによる知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記ユーザとの間に配置された第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整する手段と;
前記第1の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを前記調整した後の、前記ユーザによる前記物体の知覚距離が、前記フォーカス距離と一致するように、前記透過型ディスプレイと前記物体との間に配置された第2の光学コンポーネントのフォーカスを調整する手段と;を備え、前記決定することは、前記フォーカス距離に基づいて、前記表現に視覚的効果を 付加するか否かを決定することを含む、装置。 - 前記視覚的効果は、ぼかし、陰影、色の少なくとも一つである、請求項11に記載の装 置。
- 前記物体に対応するフォーカス距離の変化を判断する手段と;
前記変化に基づいて前記表現を更新させる手段と;

- 前記透過型ディスプレイに仮想物体の表現を表示する手段を更に備える、請求項11から17の何れかに記載の装置であって、前記仮想物体の前記表現は、前記仮想物体の表現距離に応じたぼかし効果を付加されて表示される、装置。
