Claims (3)
- 自車両の外部に送信したレーダ波が立体物で反射した反射波を受信して測距を行い、自車両と前記立体物との相対位置を示す代表点を出力するレーダ手段と、
設定範囲内における前記代表点の軌跡を演算する軌跡演算手段と、
前記代表点が存在する車線を抽出し、前記車線の車線形状を認識する車線形状認識手段と、
前記代表点の軌跡の形状と前記車線形状との一致率を算出する一致率算出手段と、
前記一致率に基づいて前記代表点が存在する前記車線に前記立体物が実在するか否かの判定を行う立体物存否判定手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする車外環境認識装置。 - 前記一致率算出手段は、二次近似された前記代表点の軌跡と、二次近似された前記車線を区画する白線形状との一致率を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車外環境認識装置。
- 前記立体物存否判定手段は、前記一致率に基づいて前記代表点の軌跡の信頼度を算出し、前記信頼度と閾値との比較結果に基づいて、前記代表点が存在する前記車線に前記立体物が実在するか否かの判定を行うことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の車外環境認識装置。
