Description

本開示は、キシレンの所望される異性体の作製の過程で炭化水素を処理するための装置および方法全般に関し、より詳細には、選択された量のC9芳香族化合物を含むC8芳香族化合物流を形成するための装置および方法に関する。
以下は、具体的実施形態と合わせて記載するものであるが、この記述が、説明することを意図するものであり、先の記述および添付の特許請求の範囲の範囲を限定することを意図するものではないことは理解される。
Claims (9)
- 選択された量のC9芳香族化合物を含む選択されたキシレン異性体流(58)を形成するための方法であって、
C8芳香族化合物およびC9芳香族化合物を含む炭化水素流(12)を、前記C8芳香族化合物の一部および前記C9芳香族化合物の一部を含むサイドドロー留分(22)、ならびに残りのC8芳香族化合物およびC8+炭化水素を含む塔底留分(26)に分留する工程、
前記塔底留分を分留して、前記残りのC8芳香族化合物を含む重質塔頂留分(32)を形成する工程、
前記サイドドロー留分および前記重質塔頂留分を組み合わせて、0.5重量%から5重量%のC9芳香族化合物組成を有する組み合わせ流(40)を形成する工程、
C8芳香族化合物およびC9芳香族化合物を含有する前記組み合わせ流を、分離ユニット(42)にフィードする工程、
前記組み合わせ流を前記分離ユニット中の吸着剤と接触させ、選択されたキシレン異性体を前記組み合わせ流から吸着させて、吸着されたキシレン異性体およびC9芳香族化合物の一部を含む抽出物流、および、選択されていないキシレン異性体およびC9芳香族化合物の残りの部分を含むラフィネート流(46)を形成する工程、
前記吸着されたキシレン異性体を脱着剤(56)と接触させ、前記選択されたキシレン異性体を前記吸着剤から脱着させて、脱着剤および前記選択されたキシレン異性体の流れを形成する工程、及び
前記脱着剤および前記選択されたキシレン異性体(58)を分離する工程、
を含む方法。 - 前記サイドドロー留分および前記重質塔頂留分を組み合わせることにより、前記組み合わせ流の総重量の1重量%から2重量%のC9芳香族化合物組成を有する組み合わせ流が形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記サイドドロー留分および前記重質塔頂留分を組み合わせることにより、前記組み合わせ流の総重量の1.6重量%のC9芳香族前記組成を有する組み合わせ流が形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素流を分留することが、前記サイドドロー留分の総重量の2重量%未満のC9芳香族前記組成を有する前記サイドドロー留分を形成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記塔底留分を分留し、前記残りのC8芳香族を含む重質塔頂留分を形成することが、前記重質塔頂留分の総重量の2.0重量%未満のC9芳香族前記組成を有する前記重質塔頂留分を形成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素流を分留することが、前記炭化水素流中の前記C8芳香族化合物の90%を含む前記サイドドロー留分を形成すること、および前記炭化水素流中の前記C8芳香族化合物の10%を含む前記塔底留分を形成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素流を分留することが、前記炭化水素流中の前記C8芳香族化合物の92%以下を含む前記サイドドロー留分を形成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 選択されたキシレン異性体を前記組み合わせ流から分離することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 選択された量のC9芳香族化合物を含む選択されたキシレン異性体流(58)を形成するための装置であって、
C8芳香族化合物を含有する炭化水素流(12)を受け、C7−炭化水素を含む塔頂留分(18)、前記炭化水素流からの前記C8芳香族化合物の80%から95%を含むサイドドロー留分(22)、および、前記炭化水素流からの前記C8芳香族化合物の5%から20%を含む塔底留分(26)を形成するように構成され、ここで、前記サイドドロー留分は、前記サイドドロー留分の総重量の1重量%から2重量%のC9芳香族化合物組成を有する、第一の分留ユニット(14)、
前記塔底留分を受け、前記塔底留分からの前記C8芳香族の実質的にすべてを含む重質塔頂留分(32)を形成するように構成された第二の分留ユニット(30)、ここで、前記重質塔頂留分(32)は前記第一の分留ユニット(14)のサイドドロー留分(22)と混合キシレン流(40)を形成するラインで流体連結する、及び
前記混合キシレン流(40)を受け、選択されていないキシレン異性体を含むラフィネート流(46)と選択されたキシレン異性体流(58)とを形成するように構成された分離ユニット(42)、
