Description
本実施形態では、ELISA法による抗原抗体反応の化学発光を利用して、対象液体としての検体のアレルギー測定を行う生化学分析装置50及びこの生化学分析装置50に用いられる分析チップ10を本発明の試料分析装置及び分析チップの一例として説明する。
本実施形態の分析チップ10は、略円板状に形成される基板20と、基板20の中央に形成され、測定対象である対象液体が注入される注入口22と、注入口22から基板20の外縁まで放射状に形成され、毛細管現象を利用して対象液体を導入させることが可能な複数のマイクロ流路23と、を備え、それぞれのマイクロ流路23には、対象液体の成分に対し、選択的に反応する複数種類の抗原30が間隔を以て複数固定化される。これにより、1つのマイクロ流路23に複数種類の抗原30が固定化されているので、必要な対象液体の量を抑制しつつ、複数項目の測定を一度に行うことができる。また、マイクロ流路23が放射状に形成されているので、遠心力を利用してマイクロ流路23に残留する対象液体をマイクロ流路23から排出することができる。本実施形態のように、測定処理の過程で複数の種類の液体を注入、排液する処理を複数回繰り返すような試料分析において、特に有効である。
生化学分析装置50は、分析チップ10を設置可能なチップホルダ53と、チップホルダ53を回転させるチップホルダ回転ユニット54と、分析チップ10の注入口22に対象液体を注入する分注ユニット90と、対象液体と複数種類の抗原30のそれぞれの反応を一括して測定可能な測定ユニット80と、を備え、チップホルダ53をチップホルダ回転ユニット54によって回転させて、マイクロ流路23に導入した対象液体を排出する。これにより、強い表面張力を有する対象液体を、マイクロ流路23を用いて分析する分析装置にあって、迅速かつ確実に対象液体の排出を行うことができる。

Claims (8)
- 略円板状に形成される基板と、
該基板の中央に形成され、測定対象である対象液体が注入される注入口と、
該注入口から毛細管現象を利用して前記対象液体を導入させることが可能であり、前記注入口を中心として径方向外側に前記対象液体を排出する液体排出口が形成される流路と、
前記流路の外縁外側を囲う液体捕捉空間と、
前記液体捕捉空間に配置され、前記液体排出口の径方向外側を囲うように形成される吸収体と、
を備え、
前記流路には、前記対象液体の成分に対して選択的に反応可能な複数種類の反応物質が固定化され、
前記反応物質は、スポット状かつその上面が略平坦な薄膜状に前記流路に固定化されている分析チップ。 - 前記分析チップの前記流路は、前記基板の外縁まで放射状に複数形成され、それぞれの流路には、前記対象液体の成分に対して選択的に反応可能な複数種類の反応物質が所定の間隔で固定化されている請求項1に記載の分析チップ。
- 前記分析チップは、前記流路が前記注入口を囲うように形成される請求項1に記載の分析チップ。
- 隣り合う前記反応物質の間の距離は固定化される複数の前記反応物質のうち、最小径の前記反応物質の径の60%以上離間した位置である請求項1から3までの何れかに記載の分析チップ。
- 前記基板に固定される第2の基板と、
前記基板に前記第2の基板を固定したものを収納するハウジングと、
を備え、
前記吸収体は、前記基板に前記第2の基板を固定したものの外周面と前記ハウジングの内周面との間に配置され、
前記注入口には、前記ハウジングの開口部を通じて前記基板と前記第2の基板の間に形成された前記流路に前記対象液体としての検体が注入され、
前記基板と前記第2の基板の間に形成された前記流路には、前記検体中の対象物質に特異的に反応する前記反応物質が固定化されている請求項1に記載の分析チップ。 - 前記基板を内部に配置収納するハウジングを更に備え、
前記ハウジングは、
前記基板の上面の少なくとも一部が露出する開口部と、
を有し、
前記液体捕捉空間は、前記ハウジングの内部であって、前記基板の外周側に位置する請求項1から5までの何れかに記載の分析チップ。 - 請求項1から6までの何れかに記載の分析チップを設置可能なチップホルダと、
前記チップホルダを回転させるチップホルダ回転機構と、
前記分析チップの注入口に前記対象液体を注入する分注機構と、
前記対象液体と複数種類の前記反応物質のそれぞれの反応を測定可能な測定装置と、
を備え、
前記チップホルダを前記チップホルダ回転機構によって回転させて、前記流路に導入した前記対象液体を排出する試料分析装置。 - 前記チップホルダは、前記分析チップを嵌合するための嵌合部を備える請求項7に記載の試料分析装置。
