前記最小底部肉厚BWTminから前記側部肉厚WTへの肉厚のゆるやかな移行部があり、前記移行部は底部分の端部で終端し、
比BWTmin/WTが0.20と0.55との間になるように構成される、
プリフォームによって達成される。
0.20≦BWTmin/WT≦0.55、好ましくは0.25≦BWTmin/WT≦0.55であり、
ここで、BWTminは最小の底部肉厚、すなわちプリフォーム先端部の底部肉厚である。このことは、プリフォーム先端部領域ではプリフォームの肉厚を最適化でき、射出点の周りの無駄な材料を実質的に低減できることを意味する。同じボトルを生産する2つのプリフォーム、つまり、図1および図2の従来の射出技術を用いて生産された一方のプリフォームと、図3および図4のICPを用いて生産された他方のプリフォームとを比較すると、ICPを用いた場合は最小比0.7を保証する必要がなく、したがって、プリフォーム先端部領域の肉厚がより小さくなるので、ICPを用いて生産された方が軽量のベースを有する。図1は、炭酸清涼飲料(CSD)用プリフォームの最終部品100の現行技術の設計を示し、ここで、参照番号1は本体部分を示し、参照番号2は、本体1が始まるペタルの支持点で終端する底部分を示す。この例では、底部肉厚BWTは一様であり、比BWT/WTは0.8程度のものであり、最終ボトルの重量は21グラムである。図2は現行技術の水用ボトルのためのプリフォームを示す。この例では、底部肉厚BWTは一様であり、比BWT/WTは0.83程度のものであり、最終ボトルの重量は7.2グラムである。図3および図4は、本発明によるプリフォームの2つの例であり、ここで、底部肉厚BWTは図1および図2に示された例と比較すると一様でない。新規な設計による図3のCSDプリフォームは、ゲート3の周りにより薄いゾーンを呈し、ゲート3の先端部はより薄い点である。図3のプリフォームでは、比BWTmin/WTは0.25程度のものであり、プリフォームの重量は19.6グラムでしかない。ここで、BWTminはゲート3の点の底部肉厚を示し、ここで、厚さは最小値を有する。図4は水用ボトルのプリフォームに関する同じ概念を示す:この場合、比BWTmin/WTは0.55程度のものであり、重量は6.0グラム程度のものである。繰り返しになるが、所与の数字は単なる一例であり本発明の範囲を全く限定しない。
Claims (6)
- ブロー成形工程によって最終ブロー成形ボトルを作製するように適合された、重量20g未満の円筒状のPET製プリフォーム(100)であって、前記プリフォームは、
ネック部と、
プリフォーム先端部を有し、前記プリフォーム先端部にゲート(3)の点を有する、底部分(2)と、
前記底部分(2)と前記ネック部との間を延び、側部肉厚WTを有する、本体部分(1)と
を備え、
前記プリフォームの厚さは周方向に均一であり、
前記底部分(2)は、前記ゲート(3)の前記点においてより薄い点を有する底部肉厚を有し、前記より薄い点は最小底部肉厚BWTminを画定し、
前記プリフォームの前記肉厚は、前記ゲート(3)の前記点からゆるやかに変化して前記側部肉厚WTに達し、
比BWTmin/WTが0.20と0.55との間になるように構成され、
前記本体部分(1)と前記底部分(2)との間に、前記側部肉厚WTより大きい厚さWT max を有する壁ステップ(4)が設けられる、

- 前記プリフォームは炭酸清涼飲料以外の飲料ボトルのためのものであり、前記比BWTmin/WTは0.50と0.55との間にある、請求項1または2に記載のプリフォーム。
- 容量0.75L未満のボトルを作製するように適合される、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のプリフォーム。
- ブロー成形工程によって最終ブロー成形ボトルを作製するための、重量20g未満のPET製プリフォームを作製するための射出圧縮成形方法であって、前記プリフォームは、
ネック部と、
プリフォーム先端部を有し、前記プリフォーム先端部にゲート(3)の点を有する、底部分(2)であって、前記底部分(2)は、前記ゲート(3)の前記点においてより薄い点を有する底部肉厚を有し、前記より薄い点は最小底部肉厚BWTminを画定する、底部分(2)と、
前記底部分(2)と前記ネック部との間を延び、側部肉厚WTを有する本体部分(1)であって、前記プリフォームの前記肉厚は、前記ゲート(3)の前記点からゆるやかに変化して前記側部肉厚WTに達する、本体部分(1)と
を備え、
コアの先端部を有するコアと、
キャビティと、
