Description
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1つのRFIDトランスポンダ(12)を用いた通信のためのISO18000−6に従った極超短波(UHF)領域用のRFID装置(10)であって、RFID信号の放射及び受信のためのRFIDトランシーバ(16)と、RFIDプロトコルに従ってRFID情報をRFID信号にコード化したりRFID信号からRFID情報を読み出したりするように構成されるとともに、固有識別パラメータUIIに基づいてその都度1つのRFIDトランスポンダ(12)だけに命令を与えるための分離方法が実装された制御ユニット(18)とを備えるRFID装置において、
前記制御ユニット(18)が、前記RFID信号にコード化されたRFID情報とは別の、RFID信号そのものの通信パラメータを検査することで前記分離方法を拡張し、同一の固有識別パラメータUIIを有するRFIDトランスポンダ(12)の分離を可能にするよう構成されていること、を特徴とするRFID装置。 - 前記通信パラメータが前記RFID信号のレベル又は位相であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記通信パラメータが、前記RFID信号が受信される方向であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記制御ユニット(18)が目録作成処理の間に前記通信パラメータを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記目録作成処理がラウンドの時間を複数のスロットに分割し、前記制御ユニット(18)が、各スロットにおいて、RFIDトランスポンダ(12)が1つだけ応答している場合に、その応答に対して確認応答を返し、その後、応答したRFIDトランスポンダ(12)の固有識別パラメータUIIを取得することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記制御ユニット(18)が、特定のRFIDトランスポンダ(12)に命令を出力するために、拡張された目録作成処理のなかで前記通信パラメータを検査するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記制御ユニット(18)が、前記固有識別パラメータUIIを設定するための書き込み命令を特定のRFIDトランスポンダ(12)に与えるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記制御ユニット(18)がRFIDトランスポンダ(12)を所定の固有識別パラメータUIIで選択するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記制御ユニット(18)が、応答しているRFIDトランスポンダ(12)が正しい固有識別パラメータUIIを持っているものの、その通信パラメータが合っていない場合、該トランスポンダに空の命令を与えるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 前記制御ユニット(18)が、同じ固有識別パラメータUIIを有する2つ以上のRFIDトランスポンダ(12)が応答した場合、固有識別パラメータUIIを設定するための書き込み命令を用いた初期化を開始するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のRFID装置(10)。
- 少なくとも1つのRFIDトランスポンダ(12)を用いたISO18000−6に従った極超短波(UHF)領域での通信のための方法であって、RFID信号がRFIDトランスポンダ(12)に送信されて該RFIDトランスポンダ(12)により受信され、RFID情報がRFIDプロトコルに従ってコード化され、命令が分離方法に基づいて固有識別パラメータUIIを基にその都度1つのRFIDトランスポンダ(12)だけに与えられる方法において、
前記RFID信号にコード化されたRFID情報とは別の、RFID信号そのものの通信パラメータを検査することで前記分離方法が拡張され、同一の固有識別パラメータUIIを有するRFIDトランスポンダ(12)が分離されること、を特徴とする方法。 - 前記通信パラメータが前記RFID信号のレベル、位相、又は該RFID信号が受信される方向であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記RFIDプロトコルがISO18000−6のプロトコルであり、前記通信パラメータが目録作成処理の間に特定され、且つ、特定のRFIDトランスポンダ(12)に命令を出力するために、拡張された目録作成処理において検査されることを特徴とする請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 一群のRFIDトランスポンダ(12)を初期化するために、前記目録作成処理において、固有識別パラメータUIIを設定するための書き込み命令が各RFIDトランスポンダ(12)に個別に与えられることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
