Claims (15)
- 高温半炭化バイオマスを冷却するための方法であって、以下の工程:
a)高温半炭化バイオマス上に水を適用し、同伴粉塵及び有機揮発物を伴う蒸気、並びに200〜320℃の間の反応器条件から100℃未満の温度まで冷却された、水を含む半炭化バイオマスを得る工程と;
b)同伴粉塵及び有機揮発物を伴う蒸気を凝縮させて、粉塵及び有機揮発物を含む凝縮物を形成する工程と;
c)粉塵及び有機揮発物を含む前記凝縮物を工程a)へとリサイクルする工程と、
を含み、
工程b)において、新鮮な水が、同伴粉塵及び有機揮発物を伴う前記蒸気に加えられる、方法。 - 工程a)において、水が、高温半炭化バイオマス上に噴霧される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記高温半炭化バイオマスが、ミキサー容器において冷却される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 工程a)から得られる前記冷却された半炭化バイオマスが、少なくとも3体積%の含水量を有する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記高温半炭化バイオマスが、流動床反応器において加熱されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記流動床反応器が、トロイダル流動床反応器である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記高温半炭化バイオマスが、好ましくは16mm未満、より好ましくは8mm未満、最も好ましくは4mm未満の粒径を有する粒子状材料である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 半炭化バイオマスを製造するための方法であって、
i)湿潤バイオマスを供給する工程;
ii)前記湿潤バイオマスを乾燥させて乾燥バイオマスを形成する工程;
iii)前記乾燥バイオマスを加熱して高温半炭化バイオマスを形成する工程;及び、
iv)請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法を使用して前記高温半炭化バイオマスを冷却する工程、
を含む方法。 - v)水を含有する冷却された前記半炭化バイオマスをペレット化する工程を更に含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 高温半炭化バイオマスを冷却する装置であって、
冷却チャンバー(1)を規定するハウジングであり、
200〜320℃の間の温度の高温半炭化バイオマスを前記冷却チャンバーへと供給するためのバイオマス導入口(2)、
水を含む100℃未満に冷却された半炭化バイオマスを前記冷却チャンバーから排出するためのバイオマス導出口(3)、
前記冷却チャンバーに水を導入するための水導入口(4)、
同伴粉塵及び有機揮発物を伴う蒸気を前記冷却チャンバーから除去するための蒸気導出口(5)、
を有するハウジングと、
蒸気を凝縮させるための凝縮器(6)であって、
同伴粉塵及び有機揮発物を伴う蒸気を凝縮器(6)へと供給するための蒸気導入口(7)、
粉塵及び有機揮発物を含む凝縮物を凝縮器(6)から除去するための凝縮物導出口(8)を有し、
凝縮物導出口(8)が、冷却チャンバー(1)に水を導入するための水導入口(4)に接続され、蒸気導入口(7)が、冷却チャンバー(1)から蒸気を除去するための導出口(5)に接続されている、
凝縮器(6)とを含み、
凝縮器(6)が、凝縮器(6)へ新鮮な水を供給するため並びに同伴粉塵及び有機揮発物を伴う前記蒸気を希釈するための水導入口(22)を有する、装置。 - 前記冷却チャンバーに水を導入するための水導入口(4)が、前記冷却チャンバー内に位置する噴霧ノズル(9)に接続される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 半炭化バイオマスを製造するためのシステムであって、
湿潤バイオマス(11)のための導入口及び乾燥バイオマス(12)のための導出口を含む乾燥ゾーン(10)と、
乾燥ゾーンの乾燥バイオマス(12)のための前記導出口に接続された、乾燥バイオマス(14)のための導入口及び高温半炭化バイオマス(15)のための導出口を含む半炭化ゾーン(13)と、
請求項10または11に記載の冷却装置を含む冷却ゾーン(16)であって、前記半炭化ゾーンの高温半炭化バイオマス(15)のための前記導出口に接続された、高温半炭化バイオマス(17)のための導入口及び水を含む冷却されたバイオマス(18)を排出するための導出口を更に含む冷却ゾーン(16)と
を含むシステム。 - 冷却ゾーンの水を含む冷却された半炭化バイオマス(18)のための導出口に接続された、水を含む冷却された半炭化バイオマス(20)のための導入口及びペレット化されたバイオマス(21)のための導出口を含むペレット化ゾーン(19)を更に含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記半炭化ゾーンが、少なくとも流動床反応器を含み、好ましくは該流動床反応器が、トロイダル流動床反応器である、請求項12または13に記載のシステム。
- 前記半炭化ゾーンが、プラグフロー型反応器を更に含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
