図1に示すように、本実施形態による脳活動フィードバックシステム100は、脳活動計測装置1と、データ処理装置2と、表示装置3とを備えている。データ処理装置2は、本発明の「データ処理部」の一例である。表示装置3は、本発明の「表示部」の一例である。
次に、統計量の算出方法および頭皮血流成分の補正量算出方法について説明する。

次に、図3、図6および図7を参照して、データ処理装置2による計測データのデータ処理について説明する。以下の処理は、データ処理装置2の制御部21(図3参照)が行う。
本実施形態では、以下のような効果を得ることができる。

Claims (7)
- 被検者の脳活動を光学的に計測する脳活動計測装置と、
前記脳活動計測装置から取得される計測データに基づき、脳活動を反映する計測データの変化の統計的有意性を示す統計量を算出するデータ処理部と、
前記統計量に対応する脳活動指標をリアルタイムに表示して被検者にフィードバックする表示部とを備え、
前記脳活動計測装置は、前記計測データを取得する第1計測チャンネルと、被検者の頭皮血流データを取得する第2計測チャンネルと、を含み、
前記データ処理部は、前記頭皮血流データと、前記計測データとに基づいて、頭皮血流成分を算出するための頭皮血流関数を決定するように構成され、
前記データ処理部は、前記頭皮血流データおよび前記計測データの取得に伴って、前記頭皮血流関数をリアルタイムで更新し、前記第1計測チャンネルの前記計測データにおける前記頭皮血流成分をリアルタイムで補正して前記統計量を算出するように構成されている、脳活動フィードバックシステム。 - 前記第1計測チャンネルは、被検者の頭部に所定の第1間隔を隔てて配置された送光プローブおよび受光プローブにより前記計測データを取得するように構成され、
前記第2計測チャンネルは、被検者の頭部に前記第1間隔よりも小さい第2間隔を隔てて配置された前記送光プローブおよび前記受光プローブにより前記頭皮血流データを取得するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の脳活動フィードバックシステム。 - 前記第2間隔は、前記第1間隔の1/2以下の大きさを有する、請求項2に記載の脳活動フィードバックシステム。
- 前記データ処理部は、所定時間範囲における前記第2計測チャンネルの前記頭皮血流データと、前記所定時間範囲における前記第1計測チャンネルの前記計測データとに基づいて、大きさが正規化された前記頭皮血流成分の補正量を算出するように構成されている、請求項2に記載の脳活動フィードバックシステム。
- 前記脳活動計測装置は、複数の前記第2計測チャンネルを含み、
前記データ処理部は、複数の前記第2計測チャンネルの前記頭皮血流データに対する主成分分析を行って得られる第1主成分を、前記頭皮血流成分の補正量として算出するように構成されている、請求項2に記載の脳活動フィードバックシステム。 - 前記表示部は、前記統計量を表す表示の形状および色の少なくとも一方を変化させることにより、前記統計量の変化を前記脳活動指標としてリアルタイムに表示するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の脳活動フィードバックシステム。
- 前記データ処理部は、所定の関心領域内の複数個所における前記計測データを取得して、前記複数個所の計測データの前記統計量のうちから、最大となる1つの前記統計量に対応する前記脳活動指標を前記表示部に表示させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の脳活動フィードバックシステム。
