Description
本出願は、2012年12月23日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/745,640号の優先権を主張し、その出願の開示全体は、ここで参照することによって本願の一部をなしている。
本明細書に記載される実施例は、ねじれ耐性チューブを対象としたものである。例示のねじれ耐性チューブの一応用形態は、胃腸への応用形態である。
1)G−Jボタンの耐久性が延びる。
2)十分な栄養を受けることがすでに困難な患者に、より信頼度の高い栄養補給を提供する。
3)画像下治療によるG−Jの交換数を減らす。
4)病院に通う頻度が減る。
5)患者の放射線被曝量が減る。
6)12フレンチボタン等の今日使用されるボタンよりもより小さいG−Jボタンが開発される確率が高くなる。
7)両親、患者、及び医師に安心を与える。
8)チューブ10の遠位端が逆行することを防ぎ、チューブがらせん回転しながら胃の中に戻ることを防止する確率が高くなる。
9)蛍光透視法による配置中に良く見える、316Lステンレス等のステンレス鋼製の医療グレードばねを使用する能力が上がる。
10)装置が胃の中でらせん状に巻き始めた場合にも、装置を通る流れを維持する能力を改善する。
Claims (5)
- 多腔型供給チューブ装置であって、
少なくとも2つの管腔をその近位端に有し、少なくとも1つの管腔をその遠位端に有する多腔型チューブであって、前記管腔が少なくとも胃管腔と空腸管腔とを備える、前記多腔型チューブと、
G−Jボタンと、
前記空腸管腔の中に挿入される空腸チューブと、
前記多腔型供給チューブ装置に、ねじれ耐性の特徴を付与するために、前記空腸チューブの長さに連続して配置されているばねと、を含み、
前記胃管腔及び前記空腸管腔は、ほぼ同一の長さで、三腔部分の長さの範囲内にあり、前記空腸チューブの長さは、前記胃管腔及び前記空腸管腔の長さより長い、多腔型供給チューブ装置。 - 前記空腸チューブは壁を有し、前記ばねは前記空腸チューブの前記壁の中に埋め込まれている、請求項1に記載の多腔型供給チューブ装置。
- 前記空腸チューブは近位端と遠位端を有し、前記ばねは、前記空腸チューブの前記近位端から前記空腸チューブの前記遠位端まで伸びている、請求項1に記載の多腔型供給チューブ装置。
- 更に、接着剤を含み、当該接着剤で前記空腸管腔内部に前記空腸チューブが接着される、請求項1に記載の多腔型供給チューブ装置。
- 前記空腸チューブは、前記G−Jボタンの開口の中へ、前記空腸管腔内まで挿入され、前記空腸チューブは、前記G−Jボタンの内部表面と嵌合し、前記空腸チューブが、前記空腸管腔と前記G−Jボタンと結合される、請求項1に記載の多腔型供給チューブ装置。
