Abstract
Description
本出願は、2012年12月23日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/745,640号の優先権を主張し、その出願の開示全体は、ここで参照することによって本願の一部をなしている。
本明細書に記載される実施例は、ねじれ耐性チューブを対象としたものである。例示のねじれ耐性チューブの一応用形態は、胃腸への応用形態である。
1)G−Jボタンの耐久性が延びる。
2)十分な栄養を受けることがすでに困難な患者に、より信頼度の高い栄養補給を提供する。
3)画像下治療によるG−Jの交換数を減らす。
4)病院に通う頻度が減る。
5)患者の放射線被曝量が減る。
6)12フレンチボタン等の今日使用されるボタンよりもより小さいG−Jボタンが開発される確率が高くなる。
7)両親、患者、及び医師に安心を与える。
8)チューブ10の遠位端が逆行することを防ぎ、チューブがらせん回転しながら胃の中に戻ることを防止する確率が高くなる。
9)蛍光透視法による配置中に良く見える、316Lステンレス等のステンレス鋼製の医療グレードばねを使用する能力が上がる。
10)装置が胃の中でらせん状に巻き始めた場合にも、装置を通る流れを維持する能力を改善する。
Claims (19)
- 胃腸の用途に使用されるチューブであって、
中空チューブと、
前記チューブに結合されたばねとを備え、
前記ばねは耐食性であり、前記チューブが曲った時に、前記チューブのねじれの防止を助ける、チューブ。 - 前記ばねは、前記中空チューブの内径に対して配置されており、且つ、前記チューブの上に配置された封止材を更に備える、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記ばねは、ステンレス鋼又はポリマー材料でできている、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記チューブは、シリコン材料、ポリウレタン材料、又はポリマー材料でできている、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記チューブはほぼ丸い内径を有するか、前記チューブはほぼ丸い内面を有さない、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記ばねは、前記チューブの押出成形製造プロセスの間に、前記ばねが前記チューブの壁に埋め込まれるように前記中空チューブに配置される、又は、前記ばねは、前記チューブの押出成形後のプロセスの間に、前記中空チューブに配置される、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記中空チューブは、単一のチューブに複数の管腔を含み、前記ばねは一又は複数の前記管腔に関連付けられている、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記中空チューブの一端に結合されたG−Jボタンを更に備える、請求項1に記載のチューブ。
- 前記複数の管腔は、第1の胃管腔、第2の空腸管腔、及び第3管腔を含む、請求項7に記載のチューブ。
- ねじれ耐性チューブであって、
チューブ壁、及び
前記チューブ壁内部に配置された又は前記チューブ壁の内面に隣接して配置されたばねとを備え、
前記ばねは、前記チューブが曲った時の前記チューブのねじれの防止を助ける、チューブ。 - 前記ばねが前記チューブ壁内部に配置されている場合、前記ばねは、前記チューブの押出成形製造プロセスの間に前記チューブ壁の中に組み込まれ、
前記ばねが前記チューブ壁に隣接して配置されている場合、前記ばねは、前記押出成形プロセスが完了した後で、前記チューブに追加される、請求項10に記載のチューブ。 - G−Jボタンに結合された多腔型供給チューブであって、
少なくとも2つの管腔をその近位端に有し、少なくとも1つの管腔をその遠位端に有する多腔型チューブであって、前記管腔が少なくとも胃管腔と空腸管腔とを備える、前記多腔型チューブと、
前記供給チューブにねじれ耐性の特徴を付与するために、前記多腔型チューブの長さの少なくとも一部に沿って配置されたばねと
を備える多腔型供給チューブ。 - 前記胃管腔及び前記空腸管腔はおおむね同じ長さであり、前記空腸管腔の中に挿入される空腸チューブを更に備え、前記空腸チューブの長さは前記胃管腔及び前記空腸管腔の長さよりも大きく、前記ばねは、前記空腸チューブの長さの少なくとも一部に沿って配置されている、請求項12に記載の供給チューブ。
- 前記空腸チューブは、その近位端に円錐形部分を有し、前記円錐形部分は前記空腸チューブと一体的に形成される、又は後処理ステップにおいて形成される、請求項13に記載の供給チューブ。
- 前記円錐形部分は、前記チューブの材料よりもデュロメータ硬度が高い材料でできており、前記円錐形部分が前記G−Jボタンに据え付けられ、前記空腸チューブが前記空腸管腔及び前記G−Jボタンに結合されるように、前記チューブが前記G−Jボタンの開口部の中へ、前記空腸管腔の中まで挿入される、請求項14に記載の供給チューブ。
- 前記ばねは、前記多腔型チューブの前記空腸管腔に結合され、前記空腸管腔の長さは前記胃管腔よりも大きく、前記ばねが、前記空腸管腔の前記長さの少なくとも一部に沿って、又は前記空腸管腔の前記長さのほぼ全てに沿って延びている、請求項12に記載の供給チューブ。
- 前記ばねは、前記ばねが前記空腸管腔の壁に埋め込まれるように、前記空腸管腔と同時に押出成形される、請求項16に記載の供給チューブ。
- 前記ばねは、前記ばねが前記多腔型チューブの外壁と同時に押出成形されるように、前記多腔型チューブの前記外壁に結合される、請求項12に記載の供給チューブ。
- 前記多腔型チューブはその長さに沿ってほぼ一定の外径を有し、前記多腔型チューブは少なくとも胃管腔と空腸管腔を有し、前記胃管腔の長さは前記空腸管腔の長さよりも小さく、前記ばねは前記空腸管腔の前記長さの一部又は全てに沿って延びている、請求項18に記載の供給チューブ。
