Description
図3に本発明の第1の実施形態を示す。カテーテルシャフト42は、左腕の動脈から挿入され、左鎖骨下動脈26を通って大動脈弓に入る。拡張されたフィルタ膜36が腕頭動脈16および左総頸動脈24の弁口を覆う。図3に見られるように、フィルタ材料は弁口内に浸漬し、従って血管壁と柔らく非外傷的に接触する。フィルタ材料はまた、血管壁との密接接触により弁口を良好に密封する。血管壁への密着度を向上させるべく、貫通孔が全く無い周縁バンドをフィルタ膜に設けることも考えられる。周縁または周辺バンドは好適には、フレームループの近傍に設けられる。好適な実施形態において、周縁バンドは、貫通孔が無く、血管壁と密接接触している。
Claims (11)
- シャフトを有するカテーテルおよび当該シャフトの遠位端部と、
フィルタ膜およびフレームを有する拡張可能な塞栓症防止装置において、前記フレームが、フレームループおよび当該フレームループに接続点で接続された遠位端部を有する細長フレームシャフトを含み、フレームループが拡張状態において前記フィルタ膜全体に広がる拡張可能な塞栓症防止装置と、
カテーテルの遠位端部および/またはフレームシャフトの遠位端部を屈曲させる屈曲手段とを含む大動脈弓における塞栓症防止用の医療機器であって、
前記医療機器が保護状態を有し、当該保護状態において、
カテーテルの前記遠位端部が屈曲され、前記塞栓症防止装置が拡張され、前記フレームシャフトが当該屈曲された遠位端部の長手方向に伸長し、前記拡張されたフレームループが前記フレームシャフトから見て前記接続点よりも遠い側に配置されており、
前記フィルタ膜は、前記フレームの拡張状態において、凹形状に成形されており、
さらに、展開可能フィルタ装置が設けられ、展開状態においてカテーテルの前記シャフトまたは前記遠位端部の周囲を円周方向に伸長し、
保護状態において、前記展開可能フィルタが自身の展開状態において腕頭動脈を確実に覆うことができる直径を有し、かつ、前記フィルタ膜が左総頸動脈及び左鎖骨下動脈を保護する医療機器。 - シャフトを有するカテーテルおよび当該シャフトの遠位端部と、
フィルタ膜およびフレームを有する拡張可能な塞栓症防止装置において、前記フレームが、フレームループおよび当該フレームループに接続点で接続された遠位端部を有する細長フレームシャフトを含み、フレームループが拡張状態において前記フィルタ膜全体に広がる拡張可能な塞栓症防止装置と、
カテーテルの遠位端部および/またはフレームシャフトの遠位端部を屈曲させる屈曲手段とを含む大動脈弓における塞栓症防止用の医療機器であって、
前記医療機器が保護状態を有し、当該保護状態において、
カテーテルの前記遠位端部が屈曲され、前記塞栓症防止装置が拡張され、前記フレームシャフトが当該屈曲された遠位端部の長手方向に伸長し、前記拡張されたフレームループが前記フレームシャフトから見て前記接続点よりも遠い側に配置されており、
前記フィルタ膜は、前記フレームの拡張状態において、凹形状に成形されており、
さらに、展開可能フィルタ装置が設けられ、展開状態においてカテーテルの前記シャフトまたは前記遠位端部の周囲を円周方向に伸長し、
保護状態において、前記展開可能フィルタが自身の展開状態において左鎖骨下動脈を確実に覆うことができる直径を有し、かつ、前記フィルタ膜が腕頭動脈及び左総頸動脈を保護する医療機器。 - 前記フィルタ膜が、前記フレームの拡張状態において予め成形された凹形状をなす、請求項1または2に記載の医療機器。
- 前記フレームが凹形状をなすことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の医療機器。
- 保護状態において、拡張可能な塞栓症防止装置が、カテーテルの遠位端部一方の側で側枝血管の弁口領域を覆うべく配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器。
- 拡張された塞栓症防止装置が、搭載状態において、側枝血管の弁口領域を覆うことで、フィルタ膜が前記弁口領域に部分的に浸漬することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の医療機器。
- 前記フィルタ膜が多孔膜である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器。
- 前記フィルタ膜がポリマー材料製である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器。
- フィルタ膜が、異なる厚さを有する少なくとも2個の異なる部分を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器。
- カテーテルおよび/またはフレームシャフトの屈曲可能な遠位端部の長さが10mm〜80mmであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器。
- フィルタ膜がシロキサン製であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器。
