Description
The present invention relates to a stator used for a linear motor.
In recent years, in the field of manufacturing semiconductor manufacturing devices and liquid crystal display devices, with the increase in size of a substrate as a processing object, the substrate can be linearly moved at a high speed and positioned with high accuracy at an appropriate moving position. There is a need for a feeder that can. This type of feeding device is generally configured to convert the rotational motion of a motor as a drive source into linear motion by a motion conversion mechanism such as a ball screw mechanism, but the motion conversion mechanism is interposed. Therefore, there is a limit to simultaneously increasing the moving speed and positioning accuracy.
In order to cope with this problem, in recent years, a feeding device using a linear motor that can directly extract linear motion output as a drive source has been used (for example, see Patent Document 1). The linear motor includes a stator extending along a moving path and a mover that moves in the extending direction of the stator. The linear motor disclosed in
On the other hand, in the moving coil type linear motor, since permanent magnets are arranged in parallel with the stator, the required number of permanent magnets increases as the moving distance of the mover, that is, the total length of the stator increases. In recent years, an increase in the amount of magnets has caused an increase in cost with an increase in the price of rare earths used as magnet materials. In order to solve this problem, the present inventors have proposed a moving coil type cored linear motor having both a coil and a magnet in a mover (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
The linear motor stator disclosed in
This invention is made | formed in view of such a situation, and it aims at providing the stator for linear motors which can reduce the harmonic component of a detent force effectively by simple structure.
The stator for a linear motor according to the present invention includes a holding member having a pair of long portions opposed to each other and a coupling portion for connecting the long portions on one side in the short side direction, and the pair of long portions of the holding member. In a linear motor stator comprising a plurality of magnetic pole teeth held side by side in the longitudinal direction on the scale portion,
The plurality of magnetic pole teeth are long in a direction orthogonal to the juxtaposed direction, and have a shape in which the width in the juxtaposed direction changes continuously or stepwise from one side of the longitudinal direction to the other side, and the narrow side And the wide side are arranged side by side alternately, the long portion is arranged between adjacent magnetic pole teeth, and a plurality of magnetic metal plates are laminated in a direction in which the pair of long portions oppose each other An auxiliary magnetic pole configured as described above is provided .
In the present invention, a plurality of magnetic pole teeth whose widths change continuously or stepwise are used, and these are arranged so that the narrow side and the wide side are alternately positioned on each of the opposing long portions of the holding member. Are arranged in parallel to each other to form a stator, and a long portion for holding the magnetic pole teeth includes an auxiliary magnetic pole formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic metal plates in the opposing direction between adjacent magnetic pole teeth. In this configuration, opposing sides of adjacent magnetic pole teeth are substantially parallel to each other and are inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the long portion. By this inclination, the periodic change of the relative permeability when the mover moves in the direction in which the magnetic pole teeth are arranged is relieved, and the harmonic components of the detent force are out of phase and cancel each other. The flow direction of the magnetic flux in each long part during operation is a direction perpendicular to the stacking direction of the magnetic metal plates constituting the auxiliary magnetic pole, and the vortex generated in the direction penetrating each magnetic metal plate with this magnetic flux flow It becomes difficult to flow current, and it becomes possible to reduce eddy current loss of thrust. As a result, the harmonic component of the detent force, particularly, the 12th or higher order harmonic component is reduced, and the generation of thrust unevenness (thrust ripple) due to the difference between the relative positions of the stator and the mover can be suppressed. The inclination angle of the opposing side may be about several degrees.
Moreover, the stator for a linear motor according to the present invention is characterized in that the magnetic pole teeth respectively held by the pair of long portions are staggered in the parallel arrangement direction.
In the present invention, the magnetic pole teeth are staggered, and the magnetic pole teeth respectively held by the pair of long portions are displaced in the juxtaposed direction, so that a large thrust can be expressed.
The stator for a linear motor according to the present invention is characterized in that the magnetic pole teeth are configured by aligning a plurality of magnetic metal plates having different widths at the center in the width direction and stacking them in the thickness direction. To do.
In the present invention. Each magnetic pole tooth is formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic metal plates. The direction of flow of magnetic flux in each magnetic pole tooth during operation is a direction orthogonal to the stacking direction of the magnetic metal plates. As the flow of magnetic flux changes with time, eddy currents are generated so as to surround the magnetic flux in a plane perpendicular to the flow, and flow in a direction penetrating each magnetic metal plate. Between metal plates, electrical resistance is large due to mutual contact resistance. Therefore, eddy currents are difficult to flow, and it is possible to reduce eddy current loss of thrust and decrease efficiency.
Moreover, the stator for a linear motor according to the present invention is characterized in that each of the magnetic metal plates constituting the magnetic pole teeth includes a positioning hole penetratingly formed in the thickness direction at a center portion in the width direction.
In the present invention, the plurality of magnetic metal plates constituting the magnetic pole teeth have positioning holes. By using this positioning hole, alignment at the center in the width direction of each magnetic metal plate can be easily performed, and a desired magnetic pole tooth can be configured with high accuracy.
The linear motor stator according to the present invention is characterized in that the magnetic metal plate constituting the magnetic pole teeth is subjected to an insulation treatment on at least a part of the laminated surface.
In the present invention, the eddy current generated in the direction penetrating each magnetic metal plate along with the temporal change of the magnetic flux flow in the magnetic pole teeth becomes more difficult to flow due to the presence of the insulation processing portion applied to the laminated surface, and the eddy current loss is reduced. Can be more effectively reduced.
The stator for a linear motor according to the present invention, magnetic metal plate constituting the front Symbol auxiliary pole, characterized in that at least a portion of the laminate surface are subjected to insulation treatment.
In the present invention, an eddy current generated in a direction penetrating the magnetic metal plate constituting the auxiliary pole is Ri a further hard flow by the presence of the insulating section having undergone the laminating surface of the magnetic metal plate, an eddy current loss effect it is possible to ing to be reduced.
In the stator for a linear motor according to the present invention, is reduced harmonic components of the de Itento force, it is possible to suppress the generation of thrust unevenness due to the difference in the relative positions of the stator and the mover.

As shown in FIG. 2, the
The fixing screw S for fixing the
The auxiliary

FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a mover used in combination with the stator of the embodiment. As illustrated, the
The
As shown in FIG. 5, the

In each of the
In FIG. 6, the two
From this stopped state, when a current in the direction indicated by the black circles (from the back to the front of the paper) and the cross marks (from the front to the back of the paper) flows in the
As described above, the linear motor according to the embodiment balances the attractive force under the base magnetic field (bias magnetic field) generated by the
The
During the operation of the linear motor, a magnetic flux is generated in the
As described above, the
FIG. 9 is a plan view showing the positional relationship between the
The
例えば、磁極歯2は,珪素鋼板製とし、補助磁極3a,3bは,ソフトフェライト又はSMC(軟磁性複合部材:Soft Magnetic Composites)製とすればよい。
In the embodiment described above, the
FIGS. 10 and 11 are perspective views showing other configuration examples of the
The
The
In addition, the
