Claims (6)
- 励磁機回路であって、
回転界磁巻線の組と、
前記励磁機回路に電力を供給する直流(DC)励磁機と、
前記回転界磁巻線の組に電力を供給し、複数のブラシとコレクタ・リングとを含むコレクタ・アセンブリと、
前記励磁機回路内のコレクタ・アセンブリでの潜在的なアーク放電事象に関連するエネルギーに対応する高周波(RF)信号を測定する複数の高周波変流器(RFCT)を含み、電圧が印加された前記回転界磁巻線の組から前記回転界磁巻線の組が配置された、回転するシャフトに容量結合される電圧を緩和するシャフト電圧サプレッサ(SVS)と、を含む励磁機回路と、
前記複数のRFCTから測定値を受信し、前記測定値を処理して前記RF信号の電力を信号周波数の関数として決定し、前記回路の調子を少なくとも部分的に前記RF信号の前記決定された電力に基づいて評価するプロセッサと、を含み、
前記複数のRFCTが互いに異なるダイナミック・レンジで測定し、
前記測定値の前記処理は、前記複数のRFCTからの複数のRF信号測定値からバックグラウンドのRFノイズをより多く収集可能な前記SVSの外側の位置に配置されたRFCTからのRF信号測定値を引き算することを含む、
発電機。 - 前記RF信号は、前記コレクタ・アセンブリの前記複数のブラシと前記コレクタ・リングとの間のアーク放電事象に対応する請求項1に記載の発電機。
- 前記プロセッサは、アラームを出すこと、前記発電機の保守を要求すること、前記発電機内の将来のフラッシュオーバー事象を予測すること、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを、少なくとも部分的に前記回路の前記調子の前記評価に基づいて行なう請求項1または2に記載の発電機。
- 前記回路の前記調子を評価することは、前記関数の1または複数の特徴を1または複数の基線値と比較することを含む請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の発電機。
- 前記1または複数の特徴は、極大RF信号電力、所定の周波数範囲での平均RF信号電力、所定の周波数範囲でのRF信号電力の積分、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを含む請求項4に記載の発電機。
- 前記SVSは、キャパシタと、該キャパシタと並列に接続された第1の抵抗器と、前記キャパシタを前記複数のRFCTの内の1つに接続する第2の抵抗器とを備え、
前記第2の抵抗器に接続される、前記複数のRFCTの内の1つが前記SVS内に配置される、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の発電機。
