Description
Claims (26)
- 組織又は筋肉壁欠損の修復及び補強のための医療用デバイスであって、
(a)周辺外縁部を備える材料の第1の層と、前記第1の層と並列の材料の第2の層であって、前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間にポケットを提供するために前記周辺外縁部で前記第1の層に接続された第2の層と、を有し、前記材料の層のうちの1つが、前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間の前記ポケットにアクセスすることができるようにするための開口部を含む、生物学的に適合する埋め込み可能なプロテーゼと、
(b)前記プロテーゼを修復部位に送達するための送達デバイスであって、前記送達デバイスは、前記プロテーゼの前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間の前記ポケット内に取り外し可能に位置決めされるように構成された支持片を有し、前記支持片は、前記ポケット内に位置決めされた場合に前記プロテーゼを拡張構成で支持するための平面自由物体構成を有し、前記支持片は、外側周辺縁部と、前記外側周辺縁部内に前記平面自由物体構成の内部領域と、含み、前記内部領域は上面及び下面を有し、前記支持片は、前記平面自由物体構成から折り畳まれて前記支持片が前記開口部を通り抜けられるようにする折り畳まれた構成を採用するのに十分な柔軟性を有する材料から作成され、前記材料は、前記平面自由物体構成に前記支持片を促すために十分な剛性を有し、前記送達デバイスはハンドルをさらに備え、前記ハンドルは、前記支持片に力を伝達して前記支持片を前記折り畳まれた構成に移動させ、前記プロテーゼが前記筋肉壁欠損に対して位置決めされた後に前記プロテーゼからの前記支持片の取り外しを容易にするために、前記支持片に接続されて前記支持片の前記内部領域から延在し、前記支持片は、前記折り畳まれた構成への前記支持片の折り畳みを容易にするために前記外側周辺縁部から前記ハンドルに向かって延在する脆弱なゾーンを含む、送達デバイスと、の組み合わせを備える医療用デバイス。 - 前記ハンドルが、前記欠損に対して前記プロテーゼを位置決めするために前記支持片を操作するのに十分な剛性を有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ポケットが、前記第2の層を前記筋肉壁に固定するために、前記第2の層を介した固定器具の挿入を可能にするように寸法が決められる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記プロテーゼの前記第2の層が、中央に配置された穴を有する環帯として形成される、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記材料の第2の層内の前記開口部が、前記第2の層の少なくとも一部を横切って延在するスリットである、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記層が、前記周辺外縁部の周囲の縫い目によって接続される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の層及び前記第2の層が、前記第1の層及び前記第2の層を接続するために前記周辺外縁部に折り畳みを伴う共通材料から形成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の層及び前記第2の層が一体に形成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記層のうちの1つの少なくとも一部の外面が、組織との癒着の形成及び/又は組織内部への成長の影響を受けやすい材料から形成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記支持片の前記上面が、前記平面自由物体構成で前記支持片の少なくとも一部に連続面を有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記脆弱なゾーンが、前記外側周辺縁部の周囲に切れ目を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。

- 前記脆弱なゾーンが、前記支持片の少なくとも1つの部分を前記支持片の少なくとも1つの他の部分に重ね合わせることが可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。

前記支持片の操作を容易にするために前記支持片に固定されたハンドルと、を備える送達デバイス。 - 前記支持片が、上面、下面及び外側周辺を含み、前記上面及び前記下面は前記外側周辺の少なくとも一部の周囲の連続面である、請求項18に記載のデバイス。
- 前記支持片が、その両面に平坦面を有する、請求項18に記載のデバイス。
