Description
Claims (18)
- コンピュータによって実施される方法であって、
患者の神経変調効果領域及び治療効果を選択するユーザ入力をコンピュータプロセッサによって受信する段階と、
前記ユーザ入力に応答して、電極神経変調設定を前記コンピュータプロセッサによって推定する段階と、を含み、前記電極神経変調設定は、それが埋込み済みの電極リード線に適用されたときに、選択された前記神経変調効果領域に前記コンピュータプロセッサによってマッピングされている少なくとも1つの刺激部位を含む組織活性化容積を生成するためのものであり、前記刺激部位は、選択された前記神経変調効果領域から或る距離のところにあり、前記電極神経変調設定は、それが埋込み済みの電極リード線に適用されたとき、選択された治療効果を、選択された前記神経変調効果領域で生じさせ、
前記少なくとも1つの刺激部位は、複数の個別の部位を含み、及び/又は、前記ユーザ入力は、前記神経変調効果領域を、神経活動が低下されるべき領域として決定し、及び/又は、前記マッピングは、感受性加重撮像(SWI)画像に基づき、及び/又は、前記マッピングは、確率的トラクトグラフィーモデルに基づき、及び/又は、前記マッピングは、前記患者に特有であり且つ以前の神経変調に対する前記患者による以前の応答を指示する応答情報に基づく患者特有マッピングを含む、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの刺激部位は、複数の個別の部位を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ入力は、前記神経変調効果領域を、神経活動が低下されるべき領域として決定する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記マッピングは、感受性加重撮像(SWI)画像に基づく、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記マッピングは、確率的トラクトグラフィーモデルに基づく、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記マッピングは、前記患者に特有であり且つ以前の神経変調に対する前記患者による以前の応答を指示する応答情報に基づく患者特有マッピングを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 選択された前記神経変調効果領域は、前記ユーザ入力によって選択された複数の前記神経変調効果領域のうちの1つであり、
前記推定する段階は、選択された前記治療効果を前記複数の神経変調効果領域で生じさせるように前記電極リード線の1又は2以上の電極に分配されるべき1又は2以上の神経変調設定セットを推定する段階を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記電極リード線は、16よりも多い電極を含み、及び/又は、
前記電極リード線は、埋込み式パルス発生器を介して制御され、前記埋込み式パルス発生器は、複数の前記電極リード線の32の電極が電気刺激パルスを同時に出力するように構成され、及び/又は、
前記電極リード線は、埋込み式パルス発生器を介して全てが制御される複数のリード線のうちの1つであり、前記埋込み式パルス発生器は、前記複数のリード線の32の電極が電気刺激パルスを同時に出力するように構成される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記電極リード線は、複数の前記電極リード線のうちの1つであり、前記電極リード線の各々は、埋込み式パルス発生器(IPG)によって制御される少なくとも1つの電極を含み、前記埋込み式パルス発生器(IPG)は、複数のポートを含み、
少なくとも1つの多重化モジュールが、前記ポートの各々とそれに対応する前記複数の電極リード線のうちの2つ以上のサブセットとの間に位置し、前記多重化モジュールは、前記複数の電極リード線のうちの2つ以上のサブセットのうちの電極リード線を選択して、前記ポートからの信号を前記電極リード線の電極に適用させるように構成され、前記信号により、前記電極リード線の電極は、前記サブセットが埋込まれた組織の神経変調のための電気パルスを生じさせる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - コンピュータによって実施される方法であって、
患者の神経変調効果領域及び治療効果を選択するユーザ入力をコンピュータプロセッサによって受信する段階と、
前記ユーザ入力に応答して、電極神経変調設定を前記コンピュータプロセッサによって推定する段階と、を含み、前記電極神経変調設定は、それが埋込み済みの電極リード線に適用されたときに、選択された前記神経変調効果領域に前記コンピュータプロセッサによってマッピングされている少なくとも1つの刺激部位を含む組織活性化容積を生成するためのものであり、前記刺激部位は、選択された前記神経変調効果領域から或る距離のところにあり、前記電極神経変調設定は、それが埋込み済みの電極リード線に適用されたとき、選択された治療効果を、選択された前記神経変調効果領域で生じさせ、

- 前記少なくとも1つの刺激部位は、複数の個別の部位を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ入力は、前記神経変調効果領域を、神経活動が低下されるべき領域として決定する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記マッピングは、感受性加重撮像(SWI)画像に基づく、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記マッピングは、確率的トラクトグラフィーモデルに基づく、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記マッピングは、前記患者に特有であり且つ以前の神経変調に対する前記患者による以前の応答を指示する応答情報に基づく患者特有マッピングを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 選択された前記神経変調効果領域は、前記ユーザ入力によって選択された複数の前記神経変調効果領域のうちの1つであり、
前記推定する段階は、選択された前記治療効果を前記複数の神経変調効果領域で生じさせるように前記電極リード線の1又は2以上の電極に分配されるべき1又は2以上の神経変調設定セットを推定する段階を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記コンピュータプロセッサによる前記マッピングは、新しい刺激パラメータを、モデルにされた複数の刺激パラメータから外挿することによって実行され、前記刺激パラメータは、前記モデルにおいて複数の神経変調効果領域にマッピングされ、且つ、選択された効果を選択された前記神経変調効果領域のところで生じさせるように前記コンピュータプロセッサによって前記モデルに基づいて推定され、選択された前記神経変調効果領域における選択された前記効果は、前記モデルにおいてマッピングされない、請求項10に記載の方法。
