Description
Claims (6)
- 画面内予測方法であって、
フラグ情報に基づいて候補画面内予測モードと現在ブロックの画面内予測モードとが同一であるかに対する情報を復号化するステップと、
前記候補画面内予測モードと現在ブロックの画面内予測モードとが同一でない場合、前記現在ブロックの残りの画面内予測モードの構文要素を復号化して前記現在ブロックの画面内予測モードを導くステップと、
を含み、
画面内予測モードを導くステップは、
画面内予測モード情報を含み、画面内予測モード及び当該画面内予測モードのインデックス情報を、画面内予測モードがplanarモードであればインデックス0、画面内予測モードがDCモードであればインデックス1、方向性画面内予測モードであれば画面内予測モードの方向性によってインデックス2〜34にマッピングされたテーブルに基づいて行われ、
前記残りの画面内予測モードの前記構文要素は、固定された5ビットを使用して符号化された値であって、
前記候補画面内予測モードは、輝度画面内予測モードであり、
前記現在ブロックの色差情報は、前記輝度画面内予測モードに基づいて予測されることを特徴とする画面内予測方法。 - 前記候補画面内予測モードは、
前記現在ブロックの周辺ブロックの画面内予測モード及び追加の画面内予測モードに基づいて導かれた3個の互いに異なる画面内予測モードを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画面内予測方法。 - 前記フラグ情報は、
前記フラグ情報が1である場合、候補画面内予測モードと現在ブロックの画面内予測モードとが同一であることを指示し、前記フラグ情報が0である場合、候補画面内予測モードと現在ブロックの画面内予測モードとが同一でないことと指示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画面内予測方法。 - 画像復号化装置であって、
フラグ情報を復号化して候補画面内予測モードと現在ブロックの画面内予測モードとが同一であるかに対する情報を復号化するエントロピー復号化部と、
前記候補画面内予測モードと現在ブロックの画面内予測モードとが同一でない場合、残りの画面内予測モードの構文要素を復号化することで前記現在ブロックの画面内予測モードを導く予測部と、
を備え、
前記予測部は、画面内予測モード情報を含み、画面内予測モード及び当該画面内予測モードのインデックス情報を、画面内予測モードがplanarモードであればインデックス0、画面内予測モードがDCモードであればインデックス1、方向性画面内予測モードであれば画面内予測モードの方向性によってインデックス2〜34にマッピングされたテーブルに基づいて前記現在ブロックの画面内予測モードを導き、
前記残りの画面内予測モードの前記構文要素は、固定された5ビットを使用して符号化された値であって、
前記候補画面内予測モードは、輝度画面内予測モードであり、
前記現在ブロックの色差情報は、前記輝度画面内予測モードに基づいて予測されることを特徴とする画像復号化装置。 - 前記候補画面内予測モードは、
前記現在ブロックの周辺ブロックの画面内予測モード及び追加の画面内予測モードに基づいて導かれた3個の互いに異なる画面内予測モードを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の画像復号化装置。 - 前記エントロピー復号化部は、
前記フラグ情報が1である場合、前記残りの画面内予測モードの構文要素を復号化せずに、
前記フラグ情報が0である場合、前記残りの画面内予測モードの構文要素を復号化することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の画像復号化装置。
