Claims (10)
- 第1輸送部材(500)であって、流体輸送システムで使用するように構成され、電磁事象に応じて第1輸送部材(500)に沿って引き起こされた電圧及び電流を低下させるように構成された材料からなる第1輸送部材(500)と、
第2輸送部材(502)であって、流体輸送システムで使用するように構成され、電磁事象に応じて第2輸送部材(502)に沿って引き起こされた電圧及び電流を低下させるように構成された材料からなり、前記第1輸送部材(500)から分離している第2輸送部材(502)と、
前記第1輸送部材(500)と前記第2輸送部材(502)とを接続する結合アセンブリ(301)であって、前記結合アセンブリ(301)は前記第1輸送部材(500)に接続する第1フェルール(516)と前記第2輸送部材(502)に接続する第2フェルール(518)とを含み、前記第1フェルール(516)は第1Oリング(520)がある第1溝(806)と第3Oリング(900)がある第3溝(906)とを含み、前記第2フェルール(518)は第2Oリング(522)がある第2溝(808)と第4Oリング(902)がある第4溝(908)とを含み、前記結合アセンブリ(301)がスリーブ(524)に接続するクラムシェルデバイス(526)を含み、前記第1Oリング(520)が前記第1フェルール(516)と前記スリーブ(524)との間に第1シールと第1伝導経路を生成し、前記第2Oリング(522)が前記第2フェルール(518)と前記スリーブ(524)との間に第2シールと第2伝導経路を生成し、前記第3Oリング(900)が前記第1フェルール(516)と前記クラムシェルデバイス(526)との間に第3シールと第3伝導経路を生成し、前記第4Oリング(902)が前記第2フェルール(518)と前記クラムシェルデバイス(526)との間に第4シールと第4伝導経路を生成する、結合アセンブリ(301)と
を備える装置。 - 前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)の材料は、前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)が、約100キロオーム/メートル超、及び約100メガオーム/メートル未満のうちの少なくとも一つの単位長さ当たりの電気抵抗レベルを含む選択範囲内の電気抵抗を有するように選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)は管(500、502)であり、前記管(500、502)の電気抵抗は、前記管(500、502)を通る軸に対して変化する、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)の電気抵抗は、経時的な選択割合未満だけ変化する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記選択された割合が、約20〜40パーセントである、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)は、前記流体輸送システムの燃料タンク内に位置決めされる燃料輸送部材である、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記材料は複合材料である、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記複合材料は、前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)が静的消散を可能にし、静電荷の蓄積を防止するように構成されるよう選択される、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記流体輸送システムが燃料システムであり、前記第1輸送部材(500)及び第2輸送部材(502)が、燃料が移動するチャネルを有する管(500、502)である、請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 航空宇宙輸送手段の流体輸送システム内に発生する放電の強度を低下させる方法であって、前記流体輸送システムが請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の装置を含む方法。
