Abstract
Description
(1)炭素鋼または低合金鋼の外層と、質量%で、C:0.1%以下、Si:1.5%以下、Mn:2.5%以下、Ni:7.0〜35.0%、Cr:16.0〜35.0%、Mo:0.1〜10.0%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる成分組成を有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼の内層とからなる電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管であって、
JIS G 3445の規定に準拠した90°偏平試験における偏平値h/Dが0.3未満を満足し、かつ、管内面がASTM A262-10、Practice Eに準拠した硫酸・硫酸銅腐食試験において割れが発生しないことを特徴とする電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管。

前記ステンレスクラッド鋼帯を、前記第1層が外層となり、前記第2層が内層となるように管状に成形して素管とし、
該素管の対向する一対の突合せ部にガスシールドを施しつつ、前記一対の突合せ部を、アプセット量が前記ステンレスクラッド鋼帯の厚み以下の条件で突き合せ加圧し、電縫溶接して、電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管を得て、
その際、前記ガスシールドは、
前記素管の突合せ部上端から5〜300mm上方の位置で、前記素管の突合せ方向に隣接して並置された3つ以上のスリット状のガス放出口を有するシールドガス吹付けノズルを用いて、前記ガス放出口のうち両端に位置する一対の第1ガス放出口からのガス放出流速をA(m/s)とし、残りの第2ガス放出口からのガス放出流速をB(m/s)としたとき、Bが0.5〜50m/sであり、かつ、0.01≦B/A≦10を満たす条件下でシールドガスを吹き付けて行い、
さらに、前記電縫溶接後の溶接部に、該溶接部の管内面における温度が800〜1200℃となる熱処理を施し、
その後、前記溶接部に、前記溶接部の管内面における温度で800℃から400℃までの冷却速度が4〜30℃/sとなる冷却を施す
ことを特徴とする電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造方法。
図1を参照して、本発明の一実施形態による電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造工程を説明する。本発明の一実施形態における電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造では、以下のステップを含む。まず、熱延コイルとされたステンレスクラッド鋼帯10をアンコイラー30で連続的に払い出す。続いて、ロール成形機50でステンレスクラッド鋼帯10を管状に成形する。続いて、突合せ部(被溶接部)となる鋼帯幅方向両端部を、高周波加熱装置60で融点以上に加熱しつつ、スクイズロール70で突合せ加圧することにより、電縫溶接して、電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管20を得る。この際、シールドガス吹付け装置80によって、突合せ部にガスシールドを施す。続いて、ビード切削機90で溶接部の外面および内面の溶接ビードを切削する。続いて、加熱装置92によって、電縫溶接後の溶接部に熱処理を施し、さらに冷却装置94によって溶接部に冷却を施す。その後、管20を切断機96で所定の長さに切断する。
Cは、鋼中のCrと結合して耐食性の低下を招くため、その含有量は低いほど望ましいが、0.1%以下であれば耐食性を著しく低下させることはない。したがって、C含有量は0.1%以下とする。好ましくは0.08%以下である。C含有量の下限は特に限定されないが、工業的な観点から0.001%である。
Siは、脱酸のために有効な元素であるが、過剰に含有されると電縫溶接部に酸化物が生成しやすくなり、溶接部特性の低下を招く。よって、Si含有量は1.5%以下とする。好ましくは1.0%以下である。Si含有量の下限は特に限定されないが、工業的な観点から0.01%である。
Mnは、強度向上に有効な元素であるが、過剰に含有されると電縫溶接部に酸化物が生成しやすくなり、溶接部特性の低下を招く。よって、Mn含有量は2.5%以下とする。好ましくは2.0%以下である。Mn含有量の下限は特に限定されないが、工業的な観点から0.001%である。
Niは、オーステナイト相を安定させる元素である。Ni含有量が7.0%未満では、フェライト相を安定化させるCrを16.0%以上含有する場合にオーステナイト相を安定的に得られない。一方、Ni含有量が35.0%を超えると、製造コストの上昇を招き経済的に不利になる。したがって、Ni含有量は、7.0〜35.0%の範囲内とする必要がある。
Crは、鋼管の表面に不働態皮膜を形成することにより、耐食性を保つために重要な元素である。その効果はCr含有量が16.0%以上であれば発現する。しかし、Cr含有量が35.0%を超えると、熱間加工性が低下し、またオーステナイト単相組織を得ることが困難である。よって、Cr含有量は16.0〜35.0%とする。好ましくは18.0%〜30.0%である。
Moは、隙間腐食等の局部腐食を抑制するのに有効な元素である。このような効果を得るためには、Mo含有量を0.1%以上とする必要がある。ただし、Mo含有量が10.0%を超えると、オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼を著しく脆化させる。したがって、Mo含有量は0.1〜10.0%とする。好ましくは0.5〜7.0%の範囲である。
Nは、局部腐食を抑制する作用を有する効果がある。しかし、N含有量を2.0%超えとするのは工業的には困難であるので、これを上限とする。さらに通常の溶製方法では、N含有量が0.4%を超えると、溶製段階でNを含有させるために長時間を要するので、生産性の低下を招く。したがって、コストの面ではN含有量は0.4%以下がより好ましい。さらに好ましくは0.01〜0.3%の範囲である。
Cuは、耐食性を改善する作用を有する元素である。このような効果を得るためには、Cu含有量を0.01%以上とすることが好ましい。しかし、Cu含有量が3.0%を超えると、熱間加工性が低下し、生産性の低下を招く。したがって、Cuを含有する場合、その含有量は3.0%以下が好ましい。より好ましくは0.01〜2.5%の範囲である。
Ti、Nb、VおよびZrはいずれも、オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼中のCと反応して炭化物を形成してCを固定するので、オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼の耐粒界腐食性を改善するのに有効な元素である。このような効果を得るためには、これらの少なくとも1種の合計含有量を0.01%以上とすることが好ましい。一方、Ti、Nb、VおよびZrは、単独添加および複合添加いずれの場合も、合計含有量が0.5%を超えると、その効果は飽和する。したがって、Ti、Nb、VおよびZrを含有する場合、その合計含有量は0.5%以下が好ましい。
(イ)不活性ガス単独使用の場合:(G1)窒素ガス、ヘリウムガス、アルゴンガスのいずれか1種、またはこれら2種以上の混合ガス
(ロ)還元性ガス単独使用の場合:(G2)水素ガス、一酸化炭素ガスのいずれか1種、またはこれら2種の混合ガス
(ハ)不活性ガスと還元性ガスの混合ガス使用の場合:前記(G1)と(G2)の混合ガス
尚、特に、水素ガス及び/又は一酸化炭素ガスを含むガスを使用する場合、遺漏無き安全対策をとるべきことはいうまでもない。
本実施形態による電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管は、上記の製造方法により得られるものであり、炭素鋼または低合金鋼の外層と、既述の成分組成を有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼の内層とからなり、電縫溶接ままで溶接ビード切削および溶接後熱処理を施された電縫溶接部を有する。なお、「電縫溶接ままで」とは、電縫溶接後に肉盛溶接など追加の溶接処理が施されていないことを意味する。
厚さ2mm、質量%でC:0.015%、Si:0.76%、Mn:1.06%、Ni:12.2%、Cr:17.4%、Cu:0.24%、Mo:2.32%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる成分組成のオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼の合せ材と、厚さ5mm、質量%でC:0.04%、Si:0.2%、Mn:1.60%、V:0.04%、Nb:0.05%、Ti:0.01%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる成分組成の低炭素低合金鋼の母材とからなるステンレスクラッド鋼帯を用意した。
厚さ2mmで、表2に示す成分組成(残部はFeおよび不可避的不純物)を有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼の合せ材と、厚さ5mm、質量%でC:0.04%、Si:0.2%、Mn:1.60%、V:0.04%、Nb:0.05%、Ti:0.01%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる成分組成の低炭素低合金鋼の母材とからなるステンレスクラッド鋼帯を用意した。

Claims (7)
- 炭素鋼または低合金鋼の外層と、質量%で、C:0.1%以下、Si:1.5%以下、Mn:2.5%以下、Ni:7.0〜35.0%、Cr:16.0〜35.0%、Mo:0.1〜10.0%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる成分組成を有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼の内層とからなる電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管であって、
JIS G 3445の規定に準拠した90°偏平試験における偏平値h/Dが0.3未満を満足し、かつ、管内面がASTM A262-10、Practice Eに準拠した硫酸・硫酸銅腐食試験において、目視および実体顕微鏡による10倍の倍率での観察によって割れが観察されないことを特徴とする電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管。
ここで、h:偏平割れ高さ(mm)
D:管外径(mm) - 前記成分組成は、(i)N:2.0%以下、(ii)Cu:3.0%以下、(iii)Ti、Nb、VおよびZrのうちの少なくとも1種を合計で0.01〜0.5%、(iv)Ca、Mg、BおよびREMのうちの少なくとも1種をそれぞれ0.1%以下、並びに(v)Alを0.2%以下、の少なくとも一群をさらに含む請求項1に記載の電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管。
- 母材である炭素鋼または低合金鋼からなる第1層と、合せ材である、質量%で、C:0.1%以下、Si:1.5%以下、Mn:2.5%以下、Ni:7.0〜35.0%、Cr:16.0〜35.0%、Mo:0.1〜10.0%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる成分組成を有するオーステナイト系ステンレス鋼からなる第2層とが圧着されてなるステンレスクラッド鋼帯を用意し、
前記ステンレスクラッド鋼帯を、前記第1層が外層となり、前記第2層が内層となるように管状に成形して素管とし、
該素管の対向する一対の突合せ部にガスシールドを施しつつ、前記一対の突合せ部を、アプセット量が前記ステンレスクラッド鋼帯の厚み以下の条件で突き合せ加圧し、電縫溶接して、電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管を得て、
その際、前記ガスシールドは、
前記素管の突合せ部上端から5〜300mm上方の位置で、前記素管の突合せ方向に隣接して並置された3つ以上のスリット状のガス放出口を有するシールドガス吹付けノズルを用いて、前記ガス放出口のうち両端に位置する一対の第1ガス放出口からのガス放出流速をA(m/s)とし、残りの第2ガス放出口からのガス放出流速をB(m/s)としたとき、Bが0.5〜50m/sであり、かつ、0.01≦B/A≦10を満たす条件下でシールドガスを吹き付けて行い、
さらに、前記電縫溶接後の溶接部に、該溶接部の管内面における温度が800〜1200℃となる熱処理を施し、
その後、前記溶接部に、前記溶接部の管内面における温度で800℃から400℃までの冷却速度が4〜30℃/sとなる冷却を施す
ことを特徴とする電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造方法。 - 各々の前記ガス放出口の形状は、寸法の通管方向成分である長さが30mm以上、寸法の素管突合せ方向成分である幅が5mm以上の矩形状である請求項3に記載の電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造方法。
- 全ての前記ガス放出口の合計幅Rは、前記ガス放出口の直下における前記素管の突合せ部の最大間隔Wに対し、R/W>1.0の関係を満たす請求項3または4に記載の電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造方法。
- 前記シールドガスは、不活性ガスおよび還元性ガスの少なくとも一種からなる請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載の電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造方法。
- 前記成分組成は、(i)N:2.0%以下、(ii)Cu:3.0%以下、(iii)Ti、Nb、VおよびZrのうちの少なくとも1種を合計で0.01〜0.5%、(iv)Ca、Mg、BおよびREMのうちの少なくとも1種をそれぞれ0.1%以下、並びに(v)Alを0.2%以下、の少なくとも一群をさらに含む請求項3〜6のいずれか一項に記載の電縫溶接ステンレスクラッド鋼管の製造方法。
