Description
The present invention accepts the paper sheet such as a bill conveyed from the conveying apparatus relates to the transport relay equipment having a function to convert the posture.
Inside the gaming machine island that houses multiple sets of gaming ball lending machines that lend gaming balls (pachinko balls, etc.) to players upon receipt of banknotes and pachinko machines, A transport device is provided along the longitudinal direction of the gaming machine island for transporting bills inserted into each gaming ball lending machine to a safe provided at the end of the gaming machine island.
In addition to the belt type, paper sheets such as banknotes have a conveying apparatus that generates an air flow with a blower inside a cylindrical conveyance pipe and conveys the paper sheets by the action of the air flow (for example, , See Patent Document 1). Also, a conveyance device that conveys a paper sheet by feeding a cylindrical conveyance auxiliary body that moves in response to an air flow generated in the conveyance pipe into the conveyance pipe, and pushing the paper sheet from the rear by the conveyance auxiliary body. (For example, refer to Patent Document 2).
Conventionally, it only has a function to collect banknotes from each game ball lending machine on the gaming machine island and transport it to the island edge safe, so the banknotes stored in the safes on each gaming machine island distributed in the game hall After the store is closed, the store clerk must go around each gaming machine island to collect it and store it in the main safe in the store office, which is time consuming and prone to safety problems.
Therefore, it is required to provide a transport system for transporting banknotes collected at each gaming machine island in the game hall to the office safe as it is. However, it is difficult to continuously transfer banknotes from each game ball lending machine on the gaming machine island to the safe in the office with one transfer device.
For example, each game ball lending machine discharges paper sheets at an arbitrary timing, so that banknotes discharged from each game ball lending machine can be transported to the office safe without collision or competition. Difficult to do. In addition, the banknote posture (for example, the standing position) when transporting banknotes in the gaming machine island and the banknote posture (for example, laying down) suitable for transporting banknotes from each gaming machine island to the office in the game hall (Posture) may be different.
In addition, in the paper sheet storage device that receives and stores paper sheets such as banknotes, the posture of the paper sheets at the time of reception (for example, the upright position) and the paper sheets when a plurality of sheets are stacked and stored If the posture is different from the posture (for example, the laying posture), the posture of the paper sheet must be changed. In such a case, in the conventional apparatus, since the posture is changed by providing a conveyance path for conveying the paper sheets while twisting, a large space is required for the posture change, and the size of the apparatus is increased.
SUMMARY An advantage of some aspects of the invention is to provide a transport relay device capable of sending out paper sheets received from a first transport device in conformity with the second transport device. .

The paper sheet collecting and conveying system 10 is piped so as to return to the safe 11 on the floor via a safe 11, extending from the safe 11 to the lower floor, and passing over a certain location of each relay box 6. The transport pipe 12 that constitutes the main transport path, the sub-transport device 13 that transports banknotes from the relay box 6 to the transport pipe 12 that passes above, and the banknotes transported from the relay box 6 by the sub-transport device 13 The take-in device 14 is configured to send out the paper surface in a posture along the extending direction of the transfer tube 12 into the transfer tube 12.
Of the transfer pipes 12 constituting the main transfer path, the portion of the game machine island 3 that goes around the arranged floor is piped to the back of the ceiling (or a high position near the ceiling) of that floor. That is, the transport pipe 12 is installed at a position higher than the area avoiding an area where a person is active (game or traffic) in the game hall 2. Further, the game ball lending machine 4 in the gaming machine island 3 is installed at a height corresponding to the player who performs the game, and the relay box 6 of the gaming machine island 3 is installed at the same height. The banknotes are transported by the sub-transport device 13 from the box 6 to the transport pipe 12 thereabove.
The paper sheet collecting and conveying system 10 generates an air flow in the conveying pipe 12 constituting the main conveying path, and receives a conveying auxiliary body 16 (see FIG. 3) that moves in the conveying pipe 12 in response to the air flow. Inserted into the transport pipe 12 upstream from the take-in device 14, and the bill P taken into the transport pipe 12 by the take-in device 14 is pushed from behind by the transport auxiliary body 16 and transported downstream (transport direction FW). It is supposed to be. In the present embodiment, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is sent out from the safe 11, goes around the conveyance pipe 12, and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 returns to the safe 11.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 8, an air flow generator 21 and a banknote separating / conveying auxiliary body circulation device 22 are provided inside the safe 11. The banknote separation / conveyance auxiliary body circulation device 22 includes the function of the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 23 that sends the conveyance auxiliary body 16 to the conveyance pipe 12, and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 that has been conveyed by pushing and moving the banknote P from the rear. In addition to having a function of a separation / recovery device 24 that separates and recovers each, the transfer auxiliary body 16 recovered by the separation / recovery device 24 is passed to the transfer auxiliary body inserting device 23 to be used in a circulating manner. The bills P collected by the separation and collection device 24 are stored in the bill storage unit 25 in the safe 11.
The air flow generator 21 generates an air flow by rotating a wing with a motor. The air blowing side of the air flow generating device 21 is connected to the air inlet side of the auxiliary conveyance body inserting device 23, and the starting end of the conveying pipe 12 is connected to the air outlet side of the auxiliary conveyance body inserting device 23. The end of the transport pipe 12 is connected to the air inlet side of the separation and recovery device 24, and the air suction side of the air flow generator 21 is connected to the air outlet side of the separation and recovery device 24.
As shown in FIG. 2, the main transport path of the paper sheet collection and transport system 10 is configured by connecting a plurality of transport pipes 12 with a connecting portion 15. The take-in device 14 also functions to connect the front and rear transport pipes 12.
The bills P sent out from the relay box 6 are transported upward by the sub transport device 13 and then sent out into the transport pipe 12 by the take-in device 14. The take-in device 14 sends out the banknote P into the transport pipe 12 in a posture in which the paper surface is along the extending direction of the transport pipe 12. The horizontal posture is a posture of the transport pipe 12 so that the paper surface of the banknote P in the transport pipe 12 is horizontal.
In order to transport and collect the banknote P staying in the transport pipe 12 to the safe 11, the transport auxiliary body 16 is fed into the transport pipe 12 from the transport auxiliary body inserting device 23 in the safe 11. The transport auxiliary body 16 sent into the transport pipe 12 moves in the transport pipe 12 under the action of the air flow generated by the air flow generator 21, goes around the transport pipe 12, and returns to the safe 11. come. On the way, as shown in FIG. 3, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 pushes and moves the banknote P from the rear end side and conveys it toward the end of the conveyance pipe 12 (in the conveyance direction FW in the drawing).
In this way, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is moved under the action of the air flow, and the banknote P is conveyed by being pushed from the rear end side by the conveyance auxiliary body 16, so that the banknote P itself obtains a propulsive force from the air flow. There is no need. Therefore, the banknote P can be conveyed by the airflow without taking measures such as bending the banknote P in order to receive the airflow. Moreover, since the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can obtain a driving force from an air flow more efficiently than the banknote P, the banknote P can be efficiently conveyed.
As shown in FIG. 2, an auxiliary blower 17 is provided at an appropriate position in the middle of the transport pipe 12 to enhance the air flow flowing through the transport pipe 12. In the example of FIG. 2, the auxiliary blower 17 is provided at a portion where the transport pipe 12 is curved and at a base point of an ascending portion where the bill P is transported upward. An auxiliary blower 17 may be provided in the middle of the curve or in the middle of the ascending portion. The auxiliary blower 17 is controlled so that the portion is turned on immediately after the bill P or the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes to enhance the air flow.
A curve C in FIG. 2 is a place where the bill P and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 are moved. Further, since the course is curved and the banknote P and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 are conveyed upward at the beginning of the curve, a particularly strong air flow is required. there. An auxiliary blower 17 is provided to send an air flow to the beginning of the curve C.
The paper sheet collection and conveyance system 10 includes a control unit 27 (see FIG. 8) mainly including a CPU (Central Processing Unit), a ROM (Read Only Memory), a RAM (Random Access Memory), and the like. The unit 27 controls operations of the air flow generator 21, the banknote separator / conveyance auxiliary body circulation device 22, the sub-transport device 13, the take-in device 14, the auxiliary blower 17, the sub-transport device 13, the relay box 6, and the like.
Next, the shape of the conveyance pipe | tube 12 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is demonstrated in detail.
4 is a perspective view of the conveyance pipe 12 in the straight portion, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the extending direction FW of the conveyance pipe 12 in the straight portion (= the conveyance direction FW of the bill P = the direction in which the airflow flows). FIG. The conveyance tube 12 is formed of a resin having a thickness of about 1.5 mm. The conveyance pipe 12 is formed by extrusion molding, for example.
The shape of the cross section perpendicular to the extending direction FW of the straight portion of the transport pipe 12 is a shape in which the central portion of the long side of the rectangle is expanded outwardly into a rectangle. Specifically, the transport pipe 12 includes a wall portion 31 that forms a rectangular short side in a cross section, a side wall portion 32 that forms a long side of a rectangle in cross section, and an expansion projecting outward in a rectangular shape at the central portion of the side wall portion 32. Part 33. In addition, let the short side direction in the substantially rectangular cross section perpendicular | vertical to the extending direction (conveyance direction FW) of the conveyance pipe 12 be an X direction, and let a long side direction be a Y direction. In each of the X direction and the Y direction, the direction toward the center of the transport pipe 12 is referred to as the inside, and the direction from the center toward the inner wall is referred to as the outside.
The extended portion 33 is divided into two by a separation wall 34 standing in the inner direction of the transport pipe 12. The separation wall 34 is formed by attaching a T-shaped member to the inner wall of the extension portion 33.
A plurality of ribs 35 projecting inward of the transport pipe 12 are formed on the side wall 32 so as to extend along the transport direction. In this example, a rib 35 protruding inward of the transport pipe 12 is formed along the transport direction FW at the boundary between the side wall 32 and the extended portion 33. The separation wall 34 has the same height as the rib 35, and the top of the separation wall 34 functions as a rib.
The side wall part 32 is a pair of inner walls facing the paper surface of the bill P to be conveyed. The banknote P has a rectangular shape and is transported in the transport tube 12 in a direction in which the long side is the transport direction FW. In other words, the sheet P is conveyed in a direction facing the side wall 32 of the conveying tube 12 and one short side of the banknote P being the leading end side in the conveying direction FW and the other short side being the trailing end side.
The distance Dy between the pair of opposing wall portions 31 of the transport pipe 12 is slightly longer than the short side of the banknote P. Further, a distance Dx between a pair of opposing side wall portions 32 (a portion where the rib 35, the extended portion 33, and the separation wall 34 are not formed (referred to as a reference plane portion)) is set to about 21 mm. The extension part 33 provided in each side wall part 32 is extended about 6 mm outward from the side wall part 32 (reference plane part). The tops of the ribs 35 and the separation wall 34 have a height of about 2 mm from the side wall portion 32 (reference plane portion) to the inside. What is necessary is just to set the height of the rib 35 suitably.
The transport pipe 12 can be used with its longitudinal direction tilted at an arbitrary angle in addition to the vertical and horizontal directions, and the transport auxiliary body 16 can smoothly move through the transport pipe 12 at any angle. it can. For example, the banknote P and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can be smoothly conveyed also in the twist part 51 (refer FIG. 18) mentioned later. FIG. 5 shows the conveying pipe 12 in a vertical posture installed so that the long side of the rectangular cross section is vertical.
FIG. 6 shows a plane and a front surface of the conveyance auxiliary body 16. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a columnar shape with a circular cross section having a different diameter at each portion. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 is used by being inserted into the conveyance tube 12 so that the central axis of the cylinder is in the Y direction of the conveyance tube 12. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a target shape with respect to the center in the length direction, and in order from one end, the head 16a, the neck 16b having a slightly smaller diameter than the head, and the large diameter larger than the head 16a. It has a constricted portion 16d, a large-diameter portion 16c, a neck portion 16b, and a head portion 16a that have the same diameter as the portion 16c and the neck portion 16b and are located in the center in the length direction. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 is lightweight and strong, and the inside thereof is formed into a cavity by a plastic or the like. In addition, if it is lightweight and strong, you may form with a polystyrene foam, an extrusion foaming polystyrene, etc.
FIG. 7 shows a cross section in a state where the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is inserted into the conveyance tube 12. This figure is a cross section perpendicular to the extending direction FW and passing through the central axis of the auxiliary conveyance body 16. The diameter of each part of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 corresponds to the inner edge shape of the conveyance pipe 12. That is, the cross-sectional shape passing through the central axis of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is a shape corresponding to the inner edge shape of the conveyance pipe 12 in the cross section perpendicular to the extending direction FW, and the inside of the conveyance pipe 12 is between the inner wall and the inner wall. It has a shape that is almost closed with a predetermined clearance.
In this way, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 forms a shape corresponding to the inner edge shape of the conveyance pipe 12 (substantially the same shape with a slight clearance) and closes almost the entire cross section of the conveyance pipe 12. Receive and move efficiently. Furthermore, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 plays a role of preventing the air flow from the upstream from reaching the downstream side of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 and suppressing the disturbance of the air flow on the downstream side.
The banknote P tends to stick to the side wall portion 32 when it receives an action from the air flow in the transport pipe 12. That is, the interval between one paper surface of the banknote P and the side wall portion 32 opposed to the paper surface and the interval between the other paper surface and the side wall portion 32 opposed to the paper surface are rarely equal. Narrower than the other. Since the flow velocity of the air flow is faster on the narrow interval side than on the wide interval side, the air pressure on the narrow interval side becomes lower than the air pressure on the wide interval side, and this pressure difference causes the bill P to be adsorbed and pressed on the side wall portion 32 on the narrow interval side. Is done. If it becomes so, the space | interval of a narrow space | interval side will become further narrow, and the phenomenon which the banknote P sticks and adsorb | sucks to the side wall part 32 will arise.
If the banknote P sticks strongly to the side wall 32, it becomes difficult to push and transfer the banknote P by the transport auxiliary body 16, but the transport auxiliary body 16 blocks the flow of air to the downstream side as described above ( Therefore, the force that the banknote P sticks to and attracts is reduced, and smooth conveyance is realized.
The two large diameter portions 16 c included in the conveyance auxiliary body 16 engage with the two expansion portions 33 that are partitioned by the separation wall 34 of the conveyance pipe 12. In this example, the extended portion 33 is divided into two by the separation wall 34, and these extended portions 33 are provided near the center in the Y direction of the transport pipe 12, so that the transport auxiliary body 16 is maintained in a stable posture. Can be moved. Moreover, since the attitude | position of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is stabilized, the large diameter part 16c of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can contact | abut appropriately at the rear end of the banknote P, and the stable conveyance force can be given. Moreover, it becomes difficult for the banknote P to be caught between the conveyance pipe 12 and the conveyance auxiliary body 16.
Moreover, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can receive the force for moving efficiently because the area of the part which receives the effect | action of an airflow expands by providing the large diameter part 16c. Moreover, since the large diameter part 16c is provided and the effect | action of an airflow is received efficiently, the diameter of the head 16a can be made small by that much. By reducing the diameter of the head, the distance (width (Dx)) between the pair of side wall portions 32 facing each other in the transport pipe 12 can be narrowed, and the banknote P can be prevented from falling.
Further, the presence of the plurality of ribs 35 provided on the side wall portion 32 prevents the banknote P from sticking to the side wall portion 32 exactly. That is, the contact area between the bill P and the side wall 32 is reduced, friction is reduced, and generation of static electricity can be suppressed. Even when the banknote P sticks to the side wall 32, the banknote P is supported by the tip portion of the rib 35, so that a gap is secured between the side wall 32 and the banknote P around the rib 35, Sticking force can be kept small. Moreover, since the banknote P is supported by the separation wall 34, it is prevented that the banknote P falls in the hollow of the expansion part 33. FIG.
In addition, the tops of the plurality of ribs 35 and the separation wall 34 protruding inward from the side wall portion 32 indicate the substantial passage width W of the banknote P in the width direction (X direction) of the transport pipe 12 and the distance Dx between the reference plane portions. It plays a role of narrowing. Thereby, it becomes difficult for the banknote P to fall down to the one side wall part 32 side in the conveyance pipe 12, and the attitude | position of the banknote 6 is hold | maintained along a Y direction. In particular, by providing a plurality of ribs 35, the banknote P can be prevented from falling down and the banknote P can be effectively prevented from sticking to the side wall 32. Note that Dx can be increased by the amount of the ribs 35 provided, thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the transport pipe 12 and making the transport auxiliary body 16 susceptible to the action of airflow.
In the case of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 according to the present embodiment, since the diameter of the large-diameter portion 16c is the largest, the large-diameter portion 16c abuts against the rear end of the banknote 6 and moves as shown in FIG. Become.
Next, the internal structure of the safe 11 will be described in more detail.
FIG. 8 shows the safe 11 with the front cover removed and the transport pipe 12 in the vicinity thereof. The safe 11 has a vertically long rectangular parallelepiped shape, and an air flow generator 21 is disposed at the inner lower portion thereof, and a banknote separating / conveying auxiliary body circulation device 22 is attached to the upper portion thereof. In addition, in the safe 11, a banknote storage unit 25 that stores banknotes P, a banknote transport unit 26 that transports the banknotes P separated and collected by the separation and recovery device 24 to the banknote storage unit 25, and a paper sheet collection and transport system 10. The control part 27 which controls operation | movement of this, a power supply part, etc. are accommodated. The banknote P discharged from the rear end of the separation / recovery device 24 travels along the path indicated by the arrow B in FIG. 8, is delivered to the banknote transport section 26 provided alongside, and is transported to the banknote storage section 25 by the banknote transport section 26. Is done.
9 and 10 show an overview of the banknote separating / conveying auxiliary body circulation device 22. FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the banknote separating / conveying auxiliary body circulation device 22 as viewed from the outlet side of the separated banknotes, and FIG. 10 is a connection of the banknote separating / conveying auxiliary body circulation device 22 to the conveyance pipe 12. It is the perspective view seen from the section side.
The banknote separating / conveying auxiliary body circulation device 22 is arranged so as to overlap the conveyance auxiliary body inserting device 23 for feeding the conveyance auxiliary body 16 into the conveying pipe 12 and the conveying auxiliary body insertion device 23. A separation / recovery device 24 that separates and recovers P is integrated.
The conveyance auxiliary body 16 separated and collected by the separation / collection device 24 from the banknote P falls downward from the separation / collection device 24 through the guide passage 28 (see FIG. 10), and is moved to a standby place 29 in the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 23. Delivered. Thereby, the collected conveyance auxiliary body 16 is used for the next delivery, and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is repeatedly used.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 11, the separation / recovery device 24 has a function of allowing the banknote P, which has been pushed and moved by the conveyance auxiliary body 16, to pass downstream, and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 abuts and stops. A holding part 41 is provided. The holding portion 41 has a receiving portion 42 having a U-shaped cross section for receiving the conveyance auxiliary body 16 at the tip of an arm that rotates within a predetermined angle range around one end. A slit 43 through which the banknote P passes is provided at the center of the receiving portion 42. In addition, a discharge port for dropping the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is opened on the bottom surface of the receiving portion 42.
Usually, the holding part 41 is set to a position (a position indicated by a solid line in FIG. 11) with the tip of the receiving part 42 facing the end of the transport pipe 12. When the banknote P pushed and moved by the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes through the slit 43 of the receiving portion 42 and is received by the receiving portion 42, the holding portion 41 is driven and rotated by the motor. 42 is moved to a position (a position indicated by a broken line in FIG. 11) that is removed from the extension of the conveying pipe 12 to the side. At this position, the opening at the bottom of the receiving portion 42 communicates with the guide passage 28, and the conveyance assisting body 16 falls downward through the guide passage 28.
The bills P that have passed through the slits 43 are transported to a transport belt (not shown) and discharged from a discharge port at the rear end of the separation and recovery device 24. As described above, the discharged banknote P is transported to the banknote transport section 26 and sent to the banknote storage section 25.
The conveyance auxiliary body 16 that has fallen through the guide passage 28 enters the standby place 29 of the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 23 and is received.
The conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 23 includes a movable arm 46 that rotates around one end and includes a delivery section 45 having a U-shaped cross section that holds the conveyance auxiliary body 16 at the other end. The delivery unit 45 is provided with a large opening for smoothly flowing the air flow from the air flow generator 21.
The movable arm 46 has a standby position (position indicated by a broken line in FIG. 11) where the delivery section 45 is accommodated in the standby place 29, and a delivery position (solid line in FIG. 11) where the delivery section 45 is an extension of the starting end of the transport pipe 12. And is rotated by being driven by a motor. The movable arm 46 is normally in a standby position, and the delivery unit 45 receives the conveyance auxiliary body 16 that has fallen from the separation and recovery device 24 through the guide passage 28. When sending the conveyance auxiliary body 16 into the conveyance pipe 12, the movable arm 46 is rotated to move the sending unit 45 to the sending position. Then, due to the air flow from the air flow generation device 21, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is separated from the delivery unit 45 and sent out into the conveyance pipe 12.
In this way, the auxiliary body 16 that has returned around the circumference of the transport pipe 12 while pushing and moving the banknote P is separated and recovered from the banknote P by the separation and recovery device 24, and delivered to the transport auxiliary body insertion device 23. And reused for the next transmission.
Next, the installation and configuration of the transport pipe 12 will be described.
Here, as shown in FIG. 1, four gaming machine islands 3 are provided side by side with passages, and in order to collect banknotes P from the relay box 6 of these gaming machine islands 3, as shown in FIG. A case where the transport pipe 12 is piped will be described as an example.
In FIG. 2, after the transport pipe 12 exits the safe 11, it extends downward, and when its lower end reaches the height of the ceiling behind the first floor where the gaming machine islands 3 are arranged, it draws an arc horizontally. Change direction. Then, after going around the back of the ceiling so as to pass over the relay box 6 of each gaming machine island 3, the direction is changed upward and the pipe is returned to the safe 11 on the second floor. The portion of the transport pipe 12 piped on the back of the ceiling extends horizontally (or substantially horizontally) along the back of the ceiling. Here, the portion extending along the back of the ceiling is piped in such a shape as to return around the outer edge of the T-shape from the lower end of the T-shaped vertical bar. The T-shaped horizontal bar portion passes through the relay box 6 of each gaming machine island 3.
In the section from the safe 11 to the point A immediately before the first take-in device 14 (see FIG. 2), only the transport auxiliary body 16 passes through the transport pipe 12, and the bill P does not pass. Therefore, the radius (curvature radius) of the curve can be reduced. For example, the curve B (see FIGS. 2 and 12) has a smaller radius than the curve C (see FIGS. 2 and 13) downstream from the point A.
Further, in the portion of the curve before reaching the point A, as shown in FIG. 16, the conveyance tube 12 can be shaped so that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 passes in a posture in which the axis thereof is in the radial direction of the curve. For example, the curve D in FIGS. 2 and 15 corresponds to this.
On the other hand, the curve of the portion through which the bill P passes (for example, the curve C in FIGS. 2 and 13) is limited in the direction in which the bill P can be bent, so the paper surface of the bill P faces the inside and outside of the arc (paper surface). It is necessary to pass the banknote P in a posture (which is perpendicular to the radius of the curve).
For example, in a bending part (a horizontal bending part, such as curve E in FIGS. 2 and 15) that changes the course in a horizontal plane, the conveying pipe 12 is placed in a vertical posture so that the bills P pass in a posture in which the paper surface is vertical. It is necessary to.
On the other hand, in a curve of a portion that changes the course between the horizontal direction and the vertical direction (a horizontal / vertical curved portion, such as a curve C in FIGS. 2 and 13, a curve F in FIGS. 2 and 19), a predetermined vertical A conveyance pipe 12 that is curved so as to draw an arc between a horizontal direction and a vertical direction while maintaining a posture in which the paper surface is perpendicular to the surface is required. That is, in the part that enters the horizontal and vertical bending portion from the horizontal path, the transport pipe 12 needs to be in a horizontal posture in which the paper surface of the banknote P in the transport pipe 12 is horizontal.
Therefore, the bill P is changed between the horizontal bending portion and the horizontal vertical bending portion by gradually twisting (twisting 90 degrees) between the posture in which the paper surface is horizontal and the posture in which the paper surface is vertical. Is provided. The torsion part 51 plays a role of smoothly changing the posture of the transport pipe 12 from the horizontal posture to the vertical posture or vice versa.
2 and 15, the torsion part 51 is provided between the curve E and the curve F and between the curve C and the curve E.
Of the main conveyance path of the paper sheet collection conveyance system 10, the portion where the banknotes P are likely to be jammed is considered to be a curved portion and a twisted portion 51. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the torsion portions 51 are arranged before and after the curve, and these are concentrated. By concentrating the curve and the torsion part 51, inspection and clogging elimination work are facilitated. In addition, when piping is provided on the back of the ceiling, an inspection port may be provided at a location where the curve and the torsion part 51 are concentrated.
FIG. 17 is a front view showing a part of the conveyance path 12 where the torsion part 51 is connected before and after the horizontal curved part (curve E), and FIG. 18 is a perspective view thereof. The torsion part 51 is configured by connecting a plurality of pipes twisted little by little.
In this example, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 8, since the transport pipe 12 entering and exiting the safe 11 is in a vertical position, it is also between the curve G and the safe 11 that change the course between horizontal and vertical. A twisted portion 51 is provided.
Next, the part which takes out the banknote P conveyed from the sub conveyance apparatus 13 in the conveyance pipe | tube 12 by the taking-in apparatus 14 is demonstrated.
The portion of the transport pipe 12 that passes above the relay box 6 (between point A in FIG. 2 and immediately before the curve C) is a posture in which the paper surface of the bill P transported in the tube faces up and down (the paper surface is horizontal). (See FIG. 12). That is, the transport pipe 12 in this portion is extended in a horizontal posture. Further, the transport pipe 12 in this portion extends horizontally and straightly.
FIG. 14 shows the periphery of the take-in device 14 inserted in the transport pipe 12 in a portion passing above the relay box 6. As described above, the transport pipes 12 before and after the take-in device 14 are extended in a horizontal posture so that the paper surface of the bill P (Pa in the figure) to be transported faces up and down. The sub-transport device 13 that transports the bill P (Pb in the figure) upward from 6 to the take-in device 14 extends in the direction in which the transport pipe 12 has the take-up device 14 on one side of the bill Pb. Transport in a posture facing Fw.
The transport pipe 12 and the sub-transport apparatus 13 that pass through the take-in device 14 include the width direction Da of the banknote Pa transported in the transport pipe 12 and the width direction Db of the banknote Pb transported by the sub-transport apparatus 13. Are installed in parallel with each other. The take-in device 14 sends the bill Pb transported by the sub transport device 13 into the transport tube 12 without changing the course of the bill P in the extending direction Fw without twisting.
That is, the positional relationship between the transport pipe 12 and the sub-transport apparatus 13 in the portion that passes through the take-in device 14 is determined based on the width direction Da of the bill Pa transported in the transport pipe 12 and the banknote Pb transported by the sub-transport apparatus 13. By setting so that the width direction Db is parallel, the take-in device 14 can change the course of the banknote P and send it out to the transport pipe 12 without twisting the banknote P.
In addition, in order to make said positional relationship with respect to the sub conveyance apparatus 13 which conveys the banknote P upwards, it is necessary to make the conveyance pipe 12 into a horizontal attitude | position. Therefore, when providing a horizontal bending part downstream of the taking-in apparatus 14, it becomes necessary to provide the torsion part 51 and to make the conveyance pipe 12 into a vertical posture before reaching the horizontal bending part. In the example of FIG. 2, since the curve E exists downstream of the section (section from the point A to immediately before the curve C) that passes through the capturing device 14, the torsion part is located before the curve E (immediately before in this example). 51 is provided.
Next, the sub-transport device 13 will be described.
20 is a perspective view showing the sub-transport device 13 and the capture device 14 connected to the upper end thereof, FIG. 21 is a sectional view of the sub-transport device 13 and the capture device 14 connected to the upper end thereof, and FIG. FIG. 23 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the upper part of the sub-transport device 13 and the take-in device 14, and FIG. 23 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the lower part of the sub-transport device 13 in FIG.
The sub-transport device 13 transports the banknote P using a separate transport auxiliary body 16. In the sub-transport device 13, one transport auxiliary body 16 reciprocates along one transport tube 61. The cross-sectional shape of the transport pipe 61 is the same as the straight portion of the transport pipe 12.
The sub-transport device 13 includes a transport pipe 61 (sub-transport pipe) extending in the vertical direction, a transport auxiliary body 16 that reciprocates up and down in the transport pipe 61, and a bill attached to the lower end of the transport pipe 61. A taking-in part 63 and an upward flow generating part 62 for sending an air flow directed upward through the banknote taking-in part 63 into the transport pipe 61 are provided. As described above (see FIG. 14), the relative positional relationship between the transport pipe 61 and the transport pipe 12 in the portion passing through the take-in device 14 is the width direction Da of the banknote P transported in the transport pipe 12. The width direction Db of the banknote P conveyed by the conveyance pipe 61 of the sub-conveyance device 13 is made parallel. In other words, the Y direction (longitudinal direction) of the cross section of the transport pipe 61 and the Y direction (longitudinal direction) of the cross section of the transport pipe 12 are parallel to each other. In this example, since the transport pipe 61 is vertical and the transport pipe 12 is horizontal and horizontal, the paper surface of the banknote P transported through the transport pipe 61 is in the extending direction FW of the part of the transport pipe 12 passing through the take-in device 14. In a vertical orientation.
As shown in FIG. 23, the banknote taking-in part 63 has a passage section 64 having a cross-sectional shape similar to that of the transport pipe 61 and having a length of about 15 cm communicating with the lower end of the transport pipe 61, and the passage section 64. Provided on one of the side walls is provided with an opening 64b for taking in the banknote P, and a transport section 65 for sending the banknote P obliquely upward from the opening 64b into the passage section 64. The banknote take-in part 63 is a transport base point of the sub transport device 13.
The conveyance unit 65 is fed into the passage unit 64 by the banknote passage 65a that communicates with the opening 64b, the conveyance roller 65b that conveys the banknote P toward the opening 64b of the passage unit 64 through the banknote passage 65a, and the conveyance roller 65b. A conveyor belt 65c that serves to completely feed the banknote P to the end thereof into the passage portion 64, and is provided in the middle of the banknote path 65a to open and close the banknote path 65a in order to prevent airflow leakage from the banknote path 65a. And a motor for driving the conveyance roller 65b and the conveyance belt 65c. The shutter 65d is biased to the closed position by a spring or the like.
The lower end of the passage portion 64 is narrowed and receives and holds the conveyance auxiliary body 16. In addition, an air flow inlet 64 c from the upward flow generation unit 62 is provided at the lower end of the passage unit 64.
FIG. 24 shows the banknote taking-in part 63 in a state where the banknote taking-in part 63 in a state where the lid (wall part facing the opening 64b) of the passage part 64 is removed is viewed from the side facing the opening 64b. . The conveyor belts 65 c are provided on the left and right sides of the passage portion 64 in the width direction. Since the banknotes P are sent out into the passage part 64 by the left and right transport belts 65c, the banknotes P are not inclined obliquely when the banknotes P are sent up, and the banknotes P can be sent out straight into the passage part 64.
The upward flow generation unit 62 includes a motor and a wing 62a rotated by the motor (see FIG. 23). The air outlet 62 b of the upward flow generating unit 62 is connected to the lower end of the passage unit 64 of the banknote taking-in unit 63.
As shown in FIG. 22, the upper end of the transport pipe 61 is provided with a narrowed opening 61a, and the transport auxiliary body 16 comes into contact with the narrowed portion of the upper end of the transport pipe 61 and stops. P advances through the opening 61a to the capture device 14.
The sub-transport device 13 operates as follows.
The upward flow generation unit 62 is normally stopped, and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is held at the lower end of the passage unit 64 of the bill taking-in unit 63 (see FIG. 23). Moreover, the shutter 65d of the banknote taking-in part 63 is closed. When the banknote P is sent out into the transport pipe 61 by the banknote taking-in part 63, the motor of the banknote taking-in part 63 is driven, and the banknote P received from the outside is sent out toward the opening 64b of the passage part 64 through the banknote path 65a. . At this time, the shutter 65d is opened by being pushed by the bill P passing through the bill passage 65a. When the bill P is completely sent out into the passage portion 64, the upward flow generating portion 62 is operated to generate an upward air flow. By the action of this air flow, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 moves up in the conveyance pipe 61 while pushing the bill P from the rear end.
The banknote P conveyed to the upper end of the conveyance pipe 61 by the conveyance auxiliary body 16 advances into the intake device 14 as it is through the opening 61 a and is taken into the intake device 14. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 comes into contact with the narrow portion at the upper end of the conveyance pipe 61 and stops. Thereafter, when the upward flow generation unit 62 is stopped, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 naturally falls and returns to a state of being held at the lower end of the passage unit 64 of the banknote taking-in unit 63. Thereby, a series of operation | movement which conveys the banknote P to the upper taking-in apparatus 14 is completed.
The sub-transport device 13 has a transport capability for transporting a plurality (for example, 3 to 5) of banknotes P at a time upward. For example, the banknote taking-in part 63 performs the operation | movement which sends out the banknote P in the channel | path part 64 one by one several times, and forms the state in which the several banknote P stays in the channel | path part 64. FIG. When the upward flow generating unit 62 is operated in this state, the conveyance auxiliary body 16 conveys the plurality of banknotes P to the upper-end take-in device 14 at a time.
Next, the capture device 14 will be described.
The take-in device 14 has a passage section 71 having a cross-sectional shape equivalent to that of the transport pipe 12 and connected to the front and rear of the transport pipe 12. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 can pass through the passage portion 71. The passage portion 71 has a rectangular cross section oriented in a landscape orientation. An opening 71 b for taking the banknote P into the passage portion 71 is formed on the lower wall surface of the passage portion 71. The take-in device 14 includes a transport unit 72 for sending the banknote P from the opening 71 b into the passage unit 71.
The transport unit 72 includes a banknote guide path 73 that leads to the opening 71 b, a transport belt 74 that transports the banknote P transported by the sub-transport device 13 toward the opening 71 b of the passage section 71 through the banknote guide path 73, and transport A feeding belt 75 that serves to completely feed the bill P fed into the passage portion 71 by the belt 74 into the passage portion 71 to the end thereof, and the bill guide passage to prevent leakage of airflow from the bill guide passage 73. When a plurality of banknotes P are transported from the sub-transport device 13 at a time, the take-in device 14 can take the plurality of banknotes P into the banknote guide path 73 at a time and wait. When the take-in device 14 receives a command to send the bill P into the transport pipe 12 from the control unit 27, the take-in device 14 sends the bill P waiting in the bill guide path 73 into the passage portion 71.
Next, the collection of banknotes P and the relay box 6 in the gaming machine island 3 will be described.
The island banknote transport device 8 that takes in the banknotes discharged from the back of each gaming ball lending machine 4 in the gaming machine island 3 and transports it to one end of the gaming machine island 3 also moves the transport auxiliary body 16 by the air flow, In this method, P is pushed and moved by the conveyance auxiliary body 16 from the rear end.
FIG. 25 is a plan view showing the intra-island banknote transport device 8 installed in the gaming machine island 3, and FIG. 26 is a front view showing the intra-island banknote transport device 8 installed in the gaming machine island 3. FIG. 27 is a diagram showing the inside of the relay box 6.
A transport pipe 80 having the same cross-sectional shape as the transport pipe 12 is installed inside the gaming machine island 3. The conveyance tube 80 is in a vertical posture, and the bills P conveyed through the conveyance tube 80 are conveyed in an upright posture. In the gaming machine island 3, the game ball lending machine 4 is formed in a box shape with a narrow front width in order to increase the number of installed machines. For this reason, the banknote slot provided in the game ball lending machine 4 is also usually vertically long. The bill P is inserted into the bill insertion slot in a standing posture, and the bill P is discharged from the back of the game ball lending machine 4 in a standing posture. Therefore, the transport pipe 80 of the banknote transport apparatus 8 on the island is configured to receive the banknote P from the game ball lending machine 4 in the upright position and transport the banknote P in that position.
The transport pipe 80 is provided so as to extend toward the other end of the gaming machine island 3 after exiting from the relay box 6 and to make a U-turn at the other end and return to the relay box 6. In the middle of the part of the transport pipe 80 that returns to the relay box 6 after making a U-turn (returned), it is discharged from the back of the game ball lending machine 4 to a position corresponding to each game ball lending machine 4. A bill taking-in device 82 for taking in the bills P into the transport tube 80 is provided. The banknote taking-in device 82 includes a banknote P from the game ball lending machine 4 arranged on the front side of the gaming machine island 3, and a banknote P from the game ball lending machine 4 arranged on the back side of the gaming machine island 3. Is provided on both sides of the side wall of the transfer tube 80. The banknote P taken in from the banknote taking-in device 82 into the transport pipe 80 stays at a predetermined take-up completion position in a posture in which the paper surface is along the extending direction of the transport pipe 80.
In the relay box 6, an air flow generator 84 similar to the air flow generator 21 provided in the safe 11, and a banknote separation / transport having the same configuration as the banknote separator / conveyance auxiliary body circulation device 22 provided in the safe 11. An auxiliary body circulation device 85 is provided. The banknote separation / conveyance auxiliary body circulation device 85 includes a conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 86 similar to the conveyance auxiliary body insertion device 23 and a separation collection device 87 similar to the separation collection device 24 (see FIG. 26).
Further, the relay box 6 includes a banknote transport unit 88 (see FIG. 27) that transports the banknotes P discharged from the separation and recovery device 87, and a temporary storage device 90 that temporarily stores the banknotes P. The temporary storage device 90 functions as a transport relay device of the present invention. The temporary storage device 90 temporarily stores banknotes P received from the banknote transport unit 88 and temporarily stores one banknote P at a predetermined timing. It has a function of feeding it out one by one and sending it out to the banknote taking-in part 63 of the sub-transport device 13 described above, and a function of judging the denomination of the banknote P in the middle of sending it out.
When the banknotes P discharged from the back of the game ball lending machine 4 in the gaming machine island 3 are transported to the relay box 6 and collected, they are transferred from the transport auxiliary body insertion device 86 in the relay box 6 into the transport pipe 80. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 is sent out. The conveyance auxiliary body 16 sent out into the conveyance pipe 80 receives the air flow generated by the air flow generator 84 and moves downstream in the conveyance pipe 80, collects and relays the banknote P in the middle thereof. Return to the separation and recovery device 87 in the box 6. The separation / recovery device 87 separates the banknote P and the conveyance auxiliary body 16 conveyed by the conveyance auxiliary body 16 and delivers the conveyance auxiliary body 16 to the conveyance auxiliary body insertion apparatus 86. On the other hand, the separated banknote P is transported to the temporary storage device 90 in the relay box 6 by the banknote transport section 88. FIG. 27 shows a path M through which the banknote transport unit 88 transports the banknote P. At this time, the banknote P is conveyed in the standing posture.
FIG. 28 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a schematic configuration of the temporary storage device 90. The temporary storage device 90 accepts and stores the banknotes P that have been transported in a standing posture by the banknote transporting unit 88, and the orientation of the banknotes P is a state in which the paper surface is horizontal from a vertical state (standing posture). The posture conversion unit 91 for converting to the (laying posture), the elevator unit 92 for transporting the bill P with the paper surface leveled to the lower feeding position, and the posture for sleeping the bills P at the feeding position one by one A bill transporting unit 93 that feeds and transports the bills toward the bill taking-in unit 63 of the sub-transport device 13 and a bill that is provided in the middle of the transporting path of the feeding and transporting unit 93 and discriminates the denomination of the bill P passing through the transporting route A denomination determining unit 94 is provided.
The feeding and conveying unit 93 branches the banknote P whose denomination cannot be determined by the banknote denomination determining unit 94 from the transport path and discharges it to the banknote discharging unit 95. A broken line 96 shown in FIG. A broken line 97 indicates a discharge path to the banknote discharge unit 95.
FIG. 29 schematically illustrates the configuration and operation of the temporary storage device 90. As shown in FIG. 29, the posture changing portion 91 is formed with a pair of rectangular grooves facing each other along both long sides of a U-shaped base plate having one short side and a pair of long sides. In this way, an L-shaped protrusion is provided along both long sides. The posture conversion unit 91 can store a plurality of banknotes P between a pair of grooves. The posture converting unit 91 supports and stores only the edge of the banknote P by the pair of grooves.
As shown in FIG. 29 (a), the posture conversion unit 91 is in a vertical posture standing upright (a posture in which the stored banknote P stands up) during standby. In this state, the banknote transported in a posture raised from the banknote transport section 88 is received and stored between the pair of grooves. The posture conversion unit 91 has a vertical posture shown in FIG. 29A and a horizontal posture that is turned 90 degrees around the lower end from the vertical posture and falls horizontally (the posture in which the stored banknote P is laid down, FIG. 29). (See (b)). The posture conversion unit 91 is displaced between a vertical posture and a horizontal posture by a motor (not shown).
The elevator part 92 conveys the banknote P made into the attitude | position laid down by the banknote conversion part 91 in the direction which faces a paper surface (here below) with the attitude | position which laid down. The elevator unit 92 has a lower plate 92a for supporting the banknote P from below (downstream in the transport direction), and presses the banknote P placed on the lower plate 92a from above (upstream in the transport direction). There is a holding portion 92b for sandwiching between the two. Although not shown in FIG. 29, the pressing portion 92b is provided with a pressing roller 92d at a position corresponding to a notch 92c of a lower plate 92a described later. At the time of standby, the lower plate 92a is stopped at a position where the lower plate 92a just contacts the lower surface of the posture conversion unit 91 in the horizontal posture (the surface on the rotation destination side of the banknote conversion unit 91 rotated in the horizontal posture). The portion 92b is directly above the lower plate 92a and is stopped at a position higher than the posture changing portion 91 in the vertical posture. The holding portion 92b is sized and positioned so as to pass through between the pair of opposed grooves of the posture changing portion 91 (referred to as a through portion). The holding part 92 b passes through the penetrating part of the banknote conversion part 91 in a direction intersecting with the paper surface of the banknote P accommodated in the banknote conversion part 91.
When the banknotes P stored in the posture conversion unit 91 are transported downward by the elevator unit 92 and fed out toward the banknote taking-in unit 63 of the sub-transport device 13 by the feed-out transport unit 93, the temporary storage device 90 is as follows. To work.
First, as shown in FIG. 29 (a), the banknote conversion unit 91 stands by in a vertical posture, and accepts and stores the banknotes P transported in a posture raised from the banknote transport unit 88 in this state. Next, as shown in FIG. 5B, the posture conversion unit 91 falls to the horizontal posture. Thereafter, the pressing portion 92b of the elevator portion 92 starts to descend (FIG. 29 (c)). The holding portion 92b passes through the through portion of the posture changing portion 91, and holds the bill P stored in the posture changing portion 91 between the lower plate 92a.
Thereafter, the lower plate 92a and the holding portion 92b are integrally lowered while being held (FIG. 29 (d)). Since the banknote conversion part 91 holds only the edge of the banknote P, when these are lowered while being sandwiched between the lower plate 92a and the pressing part 92b, the edge of the banknote P comes off the groove of the banknote conversion part 91. Then, the bill P is detached from the bill conversion unit 91.
The posture conversion unit 91 returns to the vertical posture when the elevator unit 92 descends below the posture conversion unit 91. When the elevator unit 92 is lowered to the lowest position, it stops (FIG. 29 (e)).
The lower plate 92a is shaped to escape the feeding belt 93b. Specifically, the lower plate 92a is provided with a cutout 92c from the banknote P discharge direction (see FIG. 29A), and the feeding belt 93b is provided at a position corresponding to the cutout 92c. . At the lowest position, the feeding belt 93b comes into contact with the bill P through the cutout 92c. The pressing portion 92b has a function of pressing the bill P toward the feeding belt 93b by the pressing roller 92d.
When the feeding belt 93b is driven in a state where the elevator unit 92 is stopped at the lowest position, the bills P are fed out from the elevator unit 92 while being laid down and conveyed along the conveyance path of the feeding conveyance unit 93. (FIG. 29 (f)).
The banknotes P are fed one by one. Therefore, when a plurality of banknotes P are stored in the posture conversion unit 91 in the state of FIG. 29B, the state of FIG. 29F is maintained until the delivery of all the banknotes P is completed. .
When the feeding of the bills P is completed, the elevator unit 92 (the lower plate 92a and the holding unit 92b) starts to rise (FIG. 29 (g)). When the lower plate 92a rises to the height of the lower end of the posture conversion unit 91 (height during standby) (FIG. 29 (h)), the lower plate 92a stops at that position. The pressing portion 92b continues to rise and moves to a standby position higher than the posture converting portion 91 and stops (FIG. 29 (i)).
In the temporary storage device 90, the posture conversion unit 91 is rotated between the vertical posture and the horizontal posture, so that the posture of the banknote P is changed from a state where the paper surface is vertical (standing posture) to a state where the paper surface is horizontal (posture position). Since the conversion is performed, it is possible to convert the posture of the banknote P in a small space compared to a case where a mechanism that changes the posture of the banknote P from a vertical state to a horizontal state by conveying the banknote P while twisting is adopted. it can.
Further, when the posture converting unit 91 assumes the horizontal posture, the pressing unit 92b immediately starts to descend, and immediately after the pressing unit 92b is lowered from the posture converting unit 91, the posture converting unit 91 returns to the vertical posture. The period during which the banknote P cannot be received from the banknote transport unit 88 is only a short time, and does not hinder the collection of the banknote P in the gaming machine island 3. In this Embodiment, it is the conditions for the island banknote conveying apparatus 8 to send out the next conveyance auxiliary body 16 that the attitude | position conversion part 91 returns to a vertical attitude | position.
Moreover, since the attitude | position conversion part 91 can accommodate several banknotes P, even if the several banknotes P are conveyed by the banknote conveyance part 88 in the meantime, the time for which the elevator part 92 is descending becomes long. These can be received and stored.
For example, when the elevator unit 92 simultaneously transports the plurality of banknotes P downward, the time until all of the plurality of banknotes P are completely delivered becomes longer. Further, since the paper sheet collection / conveyance system 10 collects the banknotes P in the other relay box 6, the banknotes P may be fed out from the relay box 6. In such a case, the time during which the elevator unit 92 stays at the lowest position becomes longer. However, as described above, even if a plurality of banknotes P are sequentially transported by the banknote transport unit 88 in the meantime, the posture change is performed. Since these can be accommodated in the part 91, a problem does not arise. In addition, it is the conditions for starting the operation | movement which brings down the attitude | position conversion part 91 to a horizontal position that the holding | suppressing part 92b of the elevator part 92 exists in the position at the time of standby.
FIG. 30 is a flowchart showing a process for controlling the movement of the temporary storage device 90. First, as an initial operation, a standby state is formed in which the banknote conversion unit 91 is in a vertical posture and the elevator unit 92 is in a standby position (step S101). Next, conveyance permission is given with respect to the banknote conveying apparatus 8 in an island (step S102). The banknote transport device 8 that has received the transport permission sends out the transport auxiliary body 16 and collects the banknotes P in the gaming machine island 3 when necessary.
The temporary storage device 90 waits for the arrival of the banknote P from the banknote transport apparatus 8 on the island (Step S103; No), and when the banknote conversion section 91 receives the banknote P from the banknote transport apparatus 8 on the island via the banknote transport section 88 ( (Step S103; Yes), the temporary storage device 90 instructs the banknote transport device 8 to prohibit transport (Step S104). The island banknote transport device 8 that has received the transport prohibition instruction stops sending the next transport auxiliary body 16.
Next, the temporary storage apparatus 90 displaces the banknote conversion part 91 to a horizontal posture (step S105). If the banknote conversion part 91 becomes a horizontal attitude | position, the holding | suppressing part 92b of the elevator part 92 will be lowered | hung. When the banknote P is sandwiched between the pressing portion 92b and the lower plate 92a, the lower plate 92a and the pressing portion 92b are integrated and lowered to the lowest position (step S106).
When the elevator unit 92 is lowered to the lowest position, the temporary storage device 90 returns the banknote conversion unit 91 to the vertical posture (step S107). Moreover, a conveyance permission is given with respect to the banknote conveying apparatus 8 in an island (step S108). In addition, after the holding | maintenance part 92b of the elevator part 92 moves below from the banknote conversion part 91, you may return the banknote conversion part 91 to a vertical attitude | position at arbitrary timings.
The temporary storage device 90 operates the feeding / conveying unit 93 to feed out the banknotes P held by the lowest elevator unit 92 one by one (step S109). This feeding operation is continued until the feeding of all banknotes P is completed (step S110; No). When the delivery of all banknotes P is completed (step S110; Yes), the elevator unit 92 is raised and the lower plate 92a and the holding unit 92b are returned to their standby positions (step S111). If the elevator part 92 returns to a standby position, it will transfer to step S103 and will continue a process.
When the elevator unit 92 is at the lowest position and the banknotes P are accumulated in the banknote conversion unit 91 before the delivery of the banknotes P is completed, the following operation (1) or (2) is performed. Correspond.
(1) The conveyance prohibition is instructed to the in-island banknote transport device 8 until the delivery of all banknotes P is completed and the elevator unit 92 returns to the standby position.
(2) While instructing the banknote transport apparatus 8 to prohibit the transport, the elevator unit 92 is raised, and the banknotes P accumulated in the banknote conversion unit 91 are moved to the elevator unit 92. Specifically, the banknote conveying device 8 on the island is instructed to prohibit conveyance, and the elevator unit 92 is raised. When the pressing portion 92b reaches the standby position of the lower plate 92a, the lower plate 92a is stopped, and the pressing portion 92b is raised to the standby position of the pressing portion 92b and stopped. That is, when the banknote P placed on the lower plate 92a reaches the height of the lower surface of the banknote conversion unit 91 in the horizontal posture, the lower plate 92a is stopped rising. Thereafter, the process proceeds to step S103 and the process is continued. Thus, since many banknotes P can be pinched | interposed between the lower plate 92a of the elevator part 92, and the holding | suppressing part 92b, the elevator part 92 is temporarily functioned as a storage part of the banknote P.
By the way, in embodiment, as shown in FIG. 15, the banknote taking-in part 63 of the sub conveying apparatus 13 is attached to the back of the relay box 6 in the position biased to one of the left and right of the width direction of the relay box 6. ing. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, there are cases where the relay box 6 is attached to the end of the gaming machine island 3 in the right direction or in the left direction in accordance with the arrangement of the gaming machine islands 3 in the game hall 2. . Therefore, even if the relay boxes 6 provided at the end of the gaming machine island 3 are aligned on a straight line, when the right-facing and left-facing relay boxes 6 are mixed, the relay boxes 6 are attached to the back of each relay box 6. The position of the banknote taking-in part 63 thus obtained is not aligned on a straight line. Therefore, when the conveyance pipe 61 of the sub conveyance apparatus 13 is extended straight up from the back of each relay box 6, the position of the capture device 14 attached to the upper end of the conveyance pipe 61 is not aligned, and the relay box 6 It becomes impossible to pipe the conveying pipe 12 in a straight line upward.
Therefore, the difference in the position of the banknote take-in portion 63 between when the relay box 6 is attached to the right and when it is attached to the left is absorbed by curving the transport pipe 61. That is, among the sub-transport devices 13 corresponding to each relay box 6, the transport pipe 12 of the paper sheet collection transport system 10 exists on the vertical line of the starting end (banknote taking-in part 63) of the transport path 61 of the sub-transport device 13. For those provided in a place not to be used, a conveyance path 61 that is bent in the middle is used so that the end of the conveyance pipe 61 of the sub-conveyance device 13 reaches the conveyance pipe 12 spanned upward.
In the example of FIG. 2, only the relay box 6 installed in the vicinity of the point A is different in direction from the other relay boxes 6. Therefore, as shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 12, the conveyance pipe 61 extending upward from the back surface of the relay box 6 is bent in the middle so as to shift by a distance Ds in the direction along the back surface of the relay box 6. It is. As a result, the positions of all the capture devices 14 attached to the upper ends of the transport pipes 61 of the respective sub transport apparatuses 13 are aligned, so that the transport pipes 12 are aligned in a straight line and horizontally above each relay box 6. It is plumbed.
Note that in the sub-transport device 13 corresponding to the relay box 6 in the vicinity of the curve C, the upper end of the transport pipe 61 is positioned so that the mounting position of the take-in device 14 is in front of the curve C as shown in FIG. The transfer pipe 61 is bent halfway so as to shift toward the point A. For example, the above situation occurs when the relay box 6 is installed on one side island (a gaming machine island where gaming machines 5 and the like are arranged on only one side) installed along the wall.
As described above, the paper sheet collection and transport system 10 according to the present embodiment receives the banknotes P collected at each of the plurality of gaming machine islands 3 arranged in the game hall 2 from each gaming machine island 3. Since it can be collected and transported to the safe 11 in the office, the banknotes P can be collected safely and effortlessly from each gaming machine island 3 to the safe 11 in the office.
In addition, since the relay box 6 is provided on the gaming machine island 3, the island banknote transport device 8 that collects and transports the banknote P in the gaming machine island 3 and the paper sheet collection transport system 10 are configured as separate devices. On the other hand, the bills P collected in the gaming machine island 3 can be automatically conveyed to the safe 11 in the office. That is, since the relay box 6 converts the posture of the banknote P from the posture in which the banknote P is laid down, the banknote P received from the banknote transport device 8 that transports the banknote P in the posture in which the banknote P is erected is placed in the posture in which the banknote P is laid down. It is possible to smoothly send P to the sub-transport device 13 that transports P. In addition, since the temporary storage device 90 has a function of temporarily storing and storing the banknotes P, the banknotes P are sent to the sub-transport device 13 when the banknotes P are transported by the banknote transport device 8 on the island. It is possible to absorb the deviation from the timing.
Since the transport pipe 12 of the paper sheet collecting and transporting system 10 is provided behind the ceiling, even if the transport pipe 12 circulates in various places in the game hall 2, the transport pipe 12 does not interfere with the activities and travel of the player. Absent.
Moreover, since the torsion part 51 is provided in the middle of the transport pipe 12, the course of the transport pipe 12 can be freely set in a plane such as the back of the ceiling while mixing the vertical direction and the horizontal direction as the transport direction of the bills P. Can do.
Moreover, the width direction of the banknote P conveyed by the inside of the conveyance path 12 of the part via the taking-in apparatus 14 provided in the terminal end of the sub conveyance apparatus 13, and the width direction of the banknote P conveyed by the sub conveyance apparatus 13; The take-in device 14 smoothly feeds the banknote P transported by the sub-transport device 13 into the transport tube 12 without changing the course of the banknote P without twisting. Can do. In the embodiment, the part of the transport pipe 12 that passes through the take-in device 14 is installed in a horizontal posture in which the paper surface of the banknote P to be transported faces up and down, and the transport pipe 61 of the sub-transport device 13 is By installing the paper P of the banknote P conveyed in the conveyance pipe 61 so as to face the extending direction of the conveyance pipe 12 in the portion passing through the take-in device 14, the parallel positional relationship described above is formed. Yes.
<Paper storage device>
In the temporary storage device 90 provided in the relay box 6, the posture of the banknote P received from the island banknote transport device 8 is converted from a standing posture to a lying posture and sent to the sub-transport device 13. You may comprise the paper sheet storage apparatus which fulfill | performs the function which stores and stores many banknotes P in a storage part.
For example, when a safe is provided at the end of the gaming machine island 3 and the banknotes P collected in the gaming machine island 3 are stored in the safe, a paper sheet storage device is installed as the safe.
FIG. 31 shows a schematic configuration of the paper sheet storage device 200. The paper sheet storage device 200 includes a bill conversion unit 91 having the same configuration as that of the temporary storage device 90, a pressing unit 92b of the elevator unit 92, and a storage unit 201. Note that the pressing portion 92b does not include a pressing roller 92d. The storage unit 201 functions to store a large number of banknotes P, and has a shape in which an upper surface of a hollow rectangular parallelepiped is opened. The presser 92 b functions as a detaching unit that detaches the banknote P held by the banknote converting unit 91 from the banknote converting unit 91.
When the banknote P stored in the posture conversion unit 91 is converted in posture and stored in the storage unit 201, the paper sheet storage device 200 operates as follows.
First, as shown to Fig.31 (a), the banknote conversion part 91 is standing by in the vertical attitude | position, and accepts and accommodates the banknote P conveyed with the attitude | position stood from the external conveying apparatus in this state. Next, as shown in FIG. 5B, the posture conversion unit 91 falls to the horizontal posture. Thereafter, the pressing portion 92b starts to descend (FIG. 31 (c)). The holding portion 92b passes through the penetrating portion of the posture changing portion 91, abuts against the paper surface of the banknote P stored in the posture changing portion 91, and presses the banknote P in a direction intersecting the paper surface (here, perpendicular to the paper surface). Then, it is made to detach | leave from the banknote conversion part 91 (the figure (d)). Since the banknote conversion part 91 hold | maintains only the edge part of the banknote P, when it presses by the holding | suppressing part 92b, the edge part of the banknote P will remove | deviate from the groove | channel of the banknote conversion part 91, and the banknote P will be easy from the banknote conversion part 91. Leave.
As shown in FIG. 6D, the pressing portion 92b stops the descent when it is lowered by a predetermined distance downward from the bill converting portion 91. The banknote P detached from the banknote conversion unit 91 is naturally dropped and stored in the storage unit 201.
The posture conversion unit 91 returns to the vertical posture when the pressing unit 92b is lowered below the posture conversion unit 91 and the banknote P is detached (FIG. 31 (e)). And if the banknote conversion part 91 returns to a vertical attitude | position, the holding | suppressing part 92b will raise, and will stop if it arrives at a standby position (FIG.31 (f)). This completes a series of receiving and storing operations.
Thus, the paper sheet storage apparatus 200 rotates the posture converting unit 91 between the vertical posture and the horizontal posture, thereby changing the posture of the bills P from a state where the paper surface is vertical (an upright posture) to a state where the paper surface is horizontal ( The posture of the bill P is reduced in space compared to the case where the bill P is conveyed while being twisted to change the posture of the bill P from a vertical state to a horizontal state. Can be converted and stored.
Note that, similarly to the temporary storage device 90, the elevator unit 92 may be configured by a lower plate 92a and a holding unit 92b. FIG. 32 shows a configuration and an operation example of the paper sheet storage device 200B in this case. The lower plate 92a does not have a notch 92c.
The standby state is the state shown in FIG. The elevator part 92 is stopped at a position where it is lowered to some extent, and the banknotes P stored so far are held between the lower plate 92a and the pressing part 92b. The banknote conversion unit 91 is in a vertical posture.
In the standby state, as shown in FIG. 5B, the bill P transported in a posture standing from an external transport device is received and stored in the bill conversion unit 91. When the banknote P stored in the banknote conversion unit 91 is moved to the storage unit 201, the elevator unit 92 is lifted as shown in FIG. When the height of the lower surface of 91 is reached (or slightly lower than this), the lower plate 92a is stopped rising. That is, when the banknote P placed on the lower plate 92a reaches the height of the lower surface of the banknote conversion unit 91 in the horizontal posture, the lower plate 92a is stopped from rising.
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 4D, the pressing portion 92b is raised to a position higher than the banknote converting portion 91 in the vertical posture. Next, the banknote conversion part 91 is displaced to a horizontal attitude | position (the figure (e)). Then, the pressing portion 92b is lowered (figure (f)), and the bill P stored in the bill converting portion 91 and the bill P already stored are sandwiched between the lower plate 92a and the pressing portion 92b of the elevator portion 92. Then, the banknote P is detached from the banknote conversion section 91 by further lowering the entire elevator section 92 while being sandwiched ((g) in the figure).
Thereafter, when the pressing portion 92b is lowered to a predetermined position (a standby position shown in FIG. 32A) that is a predetermined distance below the banknote conversion portion 91, the lowering of the elevator portion 92 is stopped. Thereafter, the banknote conversion unit 91 is returned to the vertical position ((i) in the same figure), and returns to a state where the next banknote P can be received (a state shown in the same figure (a)). The position of the elevator unit 92 is maintained as it is at the lowered position. The position where the lower plate 92a is at the lowest position may be the standby position. Alternatively, the position of the lower plate 92a shown in FIG. 32 (d) may be set as the standby position of the lower plate 92a.
In this way, the banknote P is detached from the banknote conversion section 91 and conveyed into the storage section 201 while being sandwiched between the lower plate 92a and the pressing section 92b. Therefore, the banknote P can be stored in the storage section 201 without relying on natural fall. Can be moved into. For example, it is possible to deal with a case where the storage unit 201 is arranged so that the opening is sideways and the banknotes P are stacked and stored in a standing state.
The paper sheet storage devices 200 and 200B are not limited to applications for receiving and storing the banknotes P transported by the intra-island banknote transport device 8 in the safe at the end of the gaming machine island 3. For example, it may be used for storage of banknotes in some sort of vending machine, ticket collection device, and the like. In addition, the paper sheet storage apparatuses 200 and 200B are not limited to the configuration in which the banknote conversion unit 91 receives the paper sheets conveyed by the conveyance apparatus. A configuration in which the bill converting unit 91 accepts and stores the bill may also be used.
The embodiment of the present invention has been described with reference to the drawings. However, the specific configuration is not limited to that shown in the embodiment, and there are changes and additions within the scope of the present invention. Are also included in the present invention.
In the embodiment, the temporary storage device 90 as the transport relay device is provided in the relay box 6, but only the portion of the temporary storage device 90 may be configured as an independent transport relay device. Further, in the embodiment, the temporary storage device 90 receives the banknotes P that have been transported in an upright position, converts them into a lying position, and sends them out, but accepts the banknotes P that have been transported in a lying position, You may comprise as a conveyance relay apparatus which converts this into the standing posture and sends out. In other words, for the purpose of receiving paper sheets from a transport device that transports paper sheets in a lying position and sending the paper sheets to another transport device that transports paper sheets in an upright position, between these transport devices In the case where the transport relay device is provided, the transport relay device may be configured to receive the banknote P transported in a lying position, and convert it into a standing posture and send it out. Similarly, the paper sheet storage devices 200 and 200B may be configured to receive the banknotes P that have been transported in a lying position, convert the banknotes P into a standing position, and store them in the storage unit 201.
In the temporary storage device 90 shown in the embodiment, the banknote conversion unit 91 is configured to support the edge of the banknote P with a pair of grooves. For example, the three edges of the banknote P are supported by the groove or the like. It may be configured. Further, the notch 92c is provided in the lower plate 92a so as to escape from the feeding belt 93b, but the shape for the escape is not limited to this. For example, the interval between the two feeding belts 93b is widened, the lower plate 92a is set in an elongated shape so that the lower plate 92a exists only between them, and the feeding belt 93b is allowed to escape on both outer sides of the lower plate 92a. May be.
In the embodiment, the transport pipe 12 is installed behind the ceiling, but it may be configured to pipe near the ceiling or under the floor. In the case of under the floor, the sub-transport device 13 may transport the bills discharged from the back surface of the relay box 6 downward.
In addition, when it arrange | positions so that the edge part by the side of the relay box of each game machine island 3 may become the wall of a facility, it does not provide the secondary conveyance apparatus 13 which conveys the banknote P to an up-down direction, and paper sheet collection conveyance The transport pipe 12 of the system 10 may be piped according to the height at which the bills P are discharged from the relay box 6. For example, you may comprise so that the conveyance pipe 12 may be piped on the back wall.
In the embodiment, the transport pipe 12 is piped in the vertical direction and in the horizontal plane, but the transport pipe 12 may be installed in an inclined state. For example, in the case of an inclined ceiling, the conveyance pipe 12 may be inclined along the ceiling.
The gaming machine island 3 is not limited to the configuration that accommodates the pachinko machines and gaming ball lending machines exemplified in the embodiment, and may be a gaming machine island that accommodates medal lending machines, slot machines, and the like.
In addition, the shape of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is not limited to what was shown in embodiment. For example, it is good also as columnar shapes, such as a cross-sectional rectangle and a polygon. Moreover, although the conveyance auxiliary body 16 was made into the object shape with respect to the Y direction center part, you may make it an asymmetrical shape in a Y direction.
In the embodiment, the bill P has been described as an example of the paper sheet, but other types of paper sheets such as a ticket and a card may be used. Moreover, the shape of paper sheets is not limited to a rectangle. Further, the installation location of the paper sheet collection and conveyance system 10 is not limited to the game arcade, and may be other facilities.
In the embodiment, an example in which only one sheet is conveyed is shown in FIG. 3 and the like, but when the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is inserted in a state where a plurality of banknotes P are present in the middle of the conveyance tube 12. It is also possible to transport the plurality of banknotes P at a time. For example, when three banknotes P accumulate in the transport pipe 61 of the sub-transport apparatus 13, the banknotes P are transported to the upper take-in apparatus 14 and collected through the transport pipe 12 of the paper sheet collection transport system 10. By doing so, the number of times that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is sent out to the conveyance pipe 12 can be reduced, and deterioration of the conveyance auxiliary body 16 can be suppressed. Further, by collecting a plurality of sheets at a time, the collection capacity per unit time of the paper sheet collection and conveyance system 10 can be enhanced.
The large conveyance force capable of conveying a plurality of banknotes P is such that the conveyance auxiliary body 16 has a shape that substantially closes the cross section of the conveyance pipe 12, and the sticking adsorption of the banknotes P is thereby reduced. It is ensured by the fact that the area affected by the air flow is large due to the presence of 38 and the air flow is enhanced by the auxiliary blower 17.
In the embodiment, the cross section of the transfer tube 12 is substantially rectangular, but may be other shapes such as a circle or an ellipse. However, it is preferable that the conveyance auxiliary body closes substantially the entire cross section with a shape corresponding to the inner edge shape. Moreover, it is good to provide a some rib and to narrow the substantial channel | path width | variety of paper sheets.
In the embodiment, the destination for transporting the paper sheets by the paper sheet collecting and transporting system 10 is the safe 11, but is not limited to the safe.
In the embodiment, the paper sheet collecting and conveying system 10 of the conveyance method by the air flow using the conveyance auxiliary body 16 is shown. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the air flow is directly applied to the paper without using the conveyance auxiliary body 16. It is also possible to use a system that acts on leaves and conveys them. Moreover, the conveyance system of the sub conveying apparatus 13 and the banknote conveying apparatus 8 in an island may be arbitrary, for example, the conveyance system which conveys paper sheets with a conveyance belt etc. may be sufficient.
