Description
リエントラント型キャビティを冠面に有するピストンと、上記キャビティの中心線上に配置された多噴孔の燃料噴射ノズルと、を備えてなるディーゼルエンジンにおいて、
上記キャビティの底部中央に設けられる凸部の円錐面が、ピストン上死点位置において燃料噴射ノズルの噴霧点を指向する角度ないしこれよりも急峻な角度に形成されている。
Claims (3)
- リエントラント型キャビティを冠面に有するピストンと、上記キャビティの中心線上に配置された多噴孔の燃料噴射ノズルと、を備えてなるディーゼルエンジンにおいて、
上記キャビティの入口部において最小径となるリップ部が開口縁よりも下方に位置し、該リップ部の上方に、ピストンの外周側に拡大した空間からなるポケット部が形成されており、
上記燃料噴射ノズルの噴霧点から延びる噴霧中心軸線が、上死点付近において、上記リップ部の僅かに下方の位置を指向しており、
上記キャビティの底部中央に設けられる凸部の頂部の高さ位置が上記リップ部の高さ位置にほぼ等しく設定されており、
上記凸部の中心線上に最も空気過剰率の高い領域が存在するように、上記凸部の円錐面が、ピストン上死点位置において上記燃料噴射ノズルの噴霧点を指向する角度に形成されており、
クランク角度430°CAにおいて上記凸部の中心線上に最も空気過剰率の高い領域が存在するように、上記頂部の高さ位置と上記凸部の円錐面の角度とが組み合わされている、ディーゼルエンジンの燃焼室構造。 - ピストン冠面から上記リップ部までのピストン軸方向の距離が、ピストン冠面からキャビティ底部までの高さに対し、10パーセント以上でかつ37パーセント以下である、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの燃焼室構造。
- 上記燃料噴射ノズルが、相対的に下方を指向した第1の噴孔群と、相対的に上方を指向した第2の噴孔群と、を有し、
上死点付近において、上記噴霧点から延びる上記第1の噴孔群の噴霧中心軸線が上記リップ部よりも下方の位置を指向し、上記第2の噴孔群の噴霧中心軸線が上記リップ部よりも上方の位置を指向している、請求項1または2に記載のディーゼルエンジンの燃焼室構造。
