Claims (13)
- 冷却システムであって、
(a)気体状冷媒を第一圧力から第二圧力に圧縮し、前記第二圧力は凝縮圧力を含む圧縮器群と、
(b)第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムであって、該第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとが並列に配置され、該凝縮器・蒸発器システムの各々が、
(1)前記凝縮圧力にある気体状冷媒を受け取り、前記気体状冷媒を液状冷媒に凝縮する凝縮器と、
(2)前記凝縮器からの前記液状冷媒を保持するための圧力制御受液器と、
(3)前記圧力制御受液器からの前記液状冷媒を蒸発させて気体状冷媒を生成する蒸発器と、
を含む第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムと、
(c)前記第二の圧力にある前記気体状冷媒を前記圧縮器群から前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとに供給するための第一の気体状冷媒供給路、と
(d)前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムからの気体状冷媒を前記圧縮器群に供給するための第二の気体状冷媒供給路と、
を含み、
前記圧縮器群は、前記第二の圧力にある前記気体状冷媒を前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとの両方に同時に供給し、前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとが冷却を行い、かつ、
前記冷却システムは、前記冷媒としてアンモニアを含むこと、
を特徴とする冷却システム。 - 前記圧縮器群は、直列に配置された第一段圧縮器と第二段圧縮器とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記圧縮器群は、前記第一段圧縮器と前記第二段圧縮器との間に設けられたインタークーラを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムは、第一の温度で動作する蒸発器を含み、前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムは、第二の温度で動作する蒸発器を含み、前記第一の温度が前記第二の温度とは異なること、を特徴とする請求項2に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記第一の温度は前記第二の温度より少なくとも10℃低いことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムは前記第一段圧縮器に前記気体状冷媒を回帰させるように構成され、前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムは前記第二段圧縮器に前記気体状冷媒を回帰させるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記凝縮圧力が100psi(689,500Pa)より大きい圧力であること、を特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムの少なくとも一つは、板枠型凝縮器である凝縮器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷却システム。
- 冷却システムであって、
(a)集中型圧縮器群と、第一凝縮器・蒸発器システム及び第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとを含み、かつ、冷媒としてアンモニアを含み、
該第一凝縮器・蒸発器システム及び第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムは、
(1)気体状冷媒を受けとり、前記気体状冷媒を液状冷媒に凝縮させる凝縮器であって、前記凝縮器が板枠式熱交換器を含むような凝縮器と、
(2)前記凝縮器からの前記液状冷媒を保持するための圧力制御受液器と、
(3)前記圧力制御受液器からの前記液状冷媒を蒸発させて気体状冷媒を生成するための蒸発器と、
を含み、
(b)前記冷却システムは、前記集中型圧縮器群からの気体状冷媒を前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システム及び前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムに搬送するように構成され、
前記圧縮器群は、前記気体状冷媒を前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとの両方に同時に供給し、前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システムと前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムとが冷却を行うこと、
を特徴とする冷却システム。 - 複数の凝縮器・蒸発器システムに冷媒供給するための、冷却システムによって実行される方法であって、
(a)気体状冷媒を凝縮圧力まで圧縮して高温気体状冷媒を生成するステップと、
(b)前記高温気体状冷媒を第一凝縮器・蒸発器システム及び第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムに供給するステップであって、前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システム及び前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムの各々が、
(1)前記高温気体状冷媒を受けとり液状冷媒にする凝縮するための凝縮器と、
(2)前記液状冷媒を保持するための圧力制御受液器と、
(3)前記圧力制御受液器からの前記液状冷媒を蒸発させて気体状冷媒を生成するための蒸発器とを含むようなステップと、
(c)前記第一凝縮器・蒸発器システム及び前記第二凝縮器・蒸発器システムからの前記気体状冷媒を、該気体状冷媒を凝縮圧力まで圧縮するように構成された圧縮器群に供給するステップと、
を含み、
前記冷却システムは、前記冷媒としてアンモニアを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記凝縮器・蒸発器システムの凝縮器には板枠式熱交換器が含まれること、を特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記凝縮器・蒸発器システムの少なくとも一つは、蒸発器内の前記液状冷媒を蒸発させる結果として冷却を行うように動作すること、を特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記凝縮器・蒸発器システムの少なくとも一つは、前記気体状冷媒が前記蒸発器で凝縮されるように高温気体除霜サイクルで動作すること、を特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
