Claims (11)
- プロセッサ(120)と、
前記プロセッサ(120)と通信し、ユーティリティ(180)によって提供される電力供給源から電気負荷を遮断する遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)と、
ユーティリティ(180)と通信する少なくとも1つの端子(170)と、
前記プロセッサ(120)とは離れて、かつ前記少なくとも1つの端子(170)と隣接して配置された基部(140)と、
前記プロセッサ(120)と通信し、前記基部(140)の温度を判定する、前記基部(140)上に配置された1つ又は複数の温度センサ(210)と、
を備えた公共料金メータ(100)であって、
前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)が前記基部(140)のまわりに配置されており、
前記プロセッサ(120)は、前記1つ又は複数の温度センサ(210)によって検出された前記基部(140)の温度(135)を、前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)内の接触不良による温度上昇による前記公共料金メータ(100)の損傷の発生を回避する所定の温度範囲(260)と比較し、前記基部(140)の前記温度(135)が前記所定の温度範囲(260)を超えたと判断すると、前記プロセッサ(120)が前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)を開くための遮断信号を送出する、
公共料金メータ(100)。 - 前記プロセッサ(120)が電子回路基板(110)のまわりに配置される、請求項1に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記1つ又は複数の温度センサ(210)が前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)のまわりに配置される、請求項1に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)がユーティリティ(180)と負荷(190)の間に配置される、請求項1に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記1つ又は複数の温度センサ(210)がサーマルエポキシ(220)を介して配置される、請求項1に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記プロセッサ(120)、前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)、および前記1つ又は複数の温度センサ(210)が温度監視回路(225)を介して通信する、請求項1に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記温度監視回路(225)が、前記1つ又は複数の温度センサ(210)によって生成されたアナログ信号(230)を受け取る、請求項6に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記温度監視回路(225)が、前記プロセッサ(120)で使用するために前記アナログ信号(230)をデジタル信号(250)に変換するA/D変換器(240)を備える、請求項7に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記プロセッサ(120)が、前記温度監視回路(225)を介して遮断信号(270)を送出する、請求項6に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 前記温度監視回路(225)が、センサバッファ回路(280)と、スイッチリレードライバ(290)とを備える、請求項6に記載の公共料金メータ(100)。
- 遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)を有する公共料金メータ(100)を動作させる方法であって、
前記公共料金メータ(100)の基部上の少なくとも1つの温度センサ(210)が、前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)のまわりの温度(235)を検知するステップと、
検知された前記温度(235)を、前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)内の接触不良による温度上昇による前記公共料金メータ(100)の損傷の発生を回避する所定の閾値範囲(260)と、前記少なくとも1つの温度センサ(210)と通信する、前記公共料金メータ(100)のプロセッサによって比較するステップと、
検知された前記温度(235)が前記所定の閾値範囲(260)を超える場合、前記プロセッサにより前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)に遮断信号(270)を送出するステップと、
前記遮断信号(270)により、前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)が、ユーティリティと通信する第1の端子を、負荷と通信する第2の端子から切断するステップと、を含み、
前記遠隔遮断スイッチ(200)は、前記公共料金メータ(100)の前記基部のまわりに配置され、
前記基部は、前記第1の端子および前記第2の端子のうちの少なくとも1つと隣接し、かつ前記プロセッサから離れて位置する、
方法。
