3Heガスおよび添加ガスを含み、前記外囲器内に封入されたガスと

前記ガスは、前記外囲器内に入射する中性子と前記3Heガスとの反応により発生する陽子および三重水素の前記ガス中での飛程の合計が2.0〜2.7mmとなるように、前記 3 Heガスの分圧5atmおよび前記添加ガスの分圧1.6atmの第1ガス組成点と、前記 3 Heガスの分圧5atmおよび前記添加ガスの分圧2.3atmの第2ガス組成点と、前記 3 Heガスの分圧20atmおよび前記添加ガスの分圧0.6atmの第3ガス組成点と、前記 3 Heガスの分圧20atmおよび前記添加ガスの分圧1.3atmの第4ガス組成点とで囲まれる範囲内のガス組成にある
ことを特徴とする中性子位置検出器。 - 前記添加ガスは、CF4ガスである
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の中性子位置検出器。 - 前記外囲器と前記陽極との間に印加される動作電圧は2.0〜2.5kVである
