Description
本発明は、基材の表面にバリア(barrier)層を付与する方法、バリア特性を有するフィルムを形成する方法、ならびにその方法によって製造された基材(substrate)に関する。本発明により、非常に簡単かつ効率的な方法で基材にバリアを付与することができる。
パッケージとして使用される繊維系製品は、外部の影響から包装された製品を保護するだけでなく、包装された製品による影響に耐えることができなければならない。所望の保護を達成する一つの方法は、パッケージにバリアを付与することである。
本発明の目的は、迅速かつ簡単な方法で表面にバリアを付与することができる方法を提供することである。
本発明は、基材にバリアを付与する方法に関するものであって、その方法が、基材の表面にコーティング混合物を付ける(apply)工程、基材のコーティングされた表面を少なくとも部分的に乾燥させる工程、及び、基材の表面にバリアを形成するために、その乾燥されたコーティングされた表面にバリア活性化溶液(barrier activating solution)を付ける工程、を含んでおり、そのコーティング混合物は少なくとも一つの水溶性ポリマー及び少なくとも一種類のナノ粒子を含んでいる。
また本発明は、バリア特性を有するフィルムを形成する方法に関するものであって、その方法が以下の工程、即ち、表面にコーティング混合物を付ける工程、コーティングされた表面を少なくとも部分的に乾燥させる工程、及び、バリア特性を有するフィルムを形成するために、少なくとも部分的に乾燥されたコーティングされた表面にバリア活性化溶液を付ける工程、を含んでおり、そのコーティングは少なくとも一つの水溶性ポリマー及び少なくとも一種類のナノ粒子を含んでいる。
フィルムを形成するために表面をコーティングすることまたは基材の表面をコーティングすることを、前記コーティング混合物と組み合わせ、続いてそのバリアを活性化することによって、非常に高速かつ効率的な方法でその基材の表面又はそのフィルムにバリア特性を与える。
本発明は、非常に高速かつ効率的に、基材の表面にバリア層を付与するための方法、または、バリア特性を有するフィルムを形成するための方法に関する。
Claims (12)
- セルロース繊維を含む基材の表面に酸素に対するバリアを付与する方法であって、
− 一回の、単一の工程で、乾燥コーティング量が2g/m2未満になるように、基材の表面にコーティング混合物を付ける工程、
− 基材のコーティングされた表面を少なくとも部分的に乾燥させる工程、及び、
− 基材の表面にバリアを形成するために、少なくとも部分的に乾燥されたコーティングされた表面に、少なくとも95重量%の水を含むバリア活性化溶液を付ける工程
を含み、
該コーティング混合物が、少なくとも一つの水溶性ポリマー及び少なくとも一種類のナノ粒子を含み、
前記ナノ粒子が、ナノクレイ、ミクロフィブリル化セルロース、ケイ酸アルミニウム、ナノ沈殿炭酸カルシウム、ナノ滑石、ナノ二酸化チタン、キシラン、カルボキシメチルセルロースおよび/またはシリカである、
