Claims (9)
- 燃焼室(2)を有する内燃機関(1)の運転のために、ラムダ値変化を用いて、燃料の種類を識別するか、または複数の種類の燃料から構成される燃料混合気を識別するための方法であって、前記内燃機関(1)が様々な種類の燃料または様々な燃料混合気により運転可能であって、前記燃焼室が第1の吸入孔(10)を有していて、該第1の吸入孔(10)が第1の吸気管(11)に接続されていて、該第1の吸気管(11)内に第1の噴射弁(12)が配置されており、前記燃焼室(2)が第2の吸入孔(20)を有していて、該第2の吸入孔(20)が第2の吸気管(21)に接続されていて、該第2の吸気管(21)内に第2の噴射弁(22)が配置されており、通常運転中に所定の燃料量が噴射され、この際に、所定の燃料量が、前記第1の噴射弁(12)によって噴射しようとする第1の燃料量と、前記第2の噴射弁(22)によって噴射しようとする第2の燃料量とから構成されている方法において、
第1の方法ステップで、前記第1の噴射弁(12)を閉鎖状態に保ち、第2の方法ステップで前記第1の噴射弁(12)を再び開放し、この際に、前記第2の方法ステップで、第1のテスト燃料量(6)を前記第1の噴射弁(12)を介して噴射し、第2のテスト燃料量(6′)を前記第2の噴射弁(22)を介して噴射し、この際に、前記第1のテスト燃料量(6)と前記第2のテスト燃料量(6′)とを合算して所定の燃料量を構成し、
前記第1の方法ステップにおける、リッチ移行の時間および前記ラムダ値変化の大きさ、または、前記第2の方法ステップにおける、リーン移行の時間および前記ラムダ値変化の大きさにより、燃料混合気を識別し、
前記リーン移行の際には、時間の経過に伴って、燃料が前記第1の吸気管(11)の壁部に堆積し、前記リッチ移行の際には、時間の経過に伴って、前記第1の吸気管(11)に堆積した前記燃料が消失することを特徴とする、燃料混合気を識別するための方法。 - 通常運転中に、前記第1の噴射弁(12)から噴射された前記第1の燃料量と前記第2の噴射弁(22)から噴射された第2の燃料量とが同じになるようにし、かつ/または第2の方法ステップで前記第1の噴射弁(12)から噴射された前記第1のテスト燃料量と前記第2の噴射弁(22)から噴射された前記第2のテスト燃料量とを同じにすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ラムダ値変化を、前記第1および/または第2の方法ステップの開始時、および/または前記第1および第2の方法ステップ中に監視することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 燃料混合気または燃料の種類を識別し、この際に、第3の方法ステップで、燃料混合気または燃料の種類に適合した燃料量で通常運転を実施し、かつ/または通常運転中の点火時点を燃料混合気または燃料の種類に適合させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関がフレックス燃料内燃機関であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関の運転のために燃料混合気または燃料の種類を変更した後で、燃料混合気または燃料の種類を識別することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関の運転のために使用された燃料混合気または燃料の種類が未知であり、測定されたラムダ値変化を前記燃料混合気または前記燃料の種類に割り当てることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関(1)の運転のために使用された燃料混合気または燃料の種類が既知であり、内燃機関(1)の排気ガス特性の、所定の値を越える変化が検出されると直ちに、通常運転中に発生したラムダ値変化が燃料量の新たな適合を指示することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 噴射された燃料量のコントロールをコンピュータ制御により行う、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
