Description

The present invention relates to an intake sound introduction device for introducing intake sound of an engine mounted on a vehicle into a passenger compartment.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, an intake sound introduction device that introduces an intake sound of an engine mounted on a vehicle into a vehicle interior to produce a sporty feeling is known. For example, an intake sound introduction device described in Patent Document 1 (in the literature, an intake sound transmission device for a vehicle) includes a transmission pipe branched from an intake pipe of an engine, and an intake sound that is provided inside the transmission pipe and is transmitted through the transmission pipe. A vibrating body that vibrates due to the intake pulsation, and a resonance pipe that is connected to the downstream end of the transmission pipe so that the cross-sectional area of the passage changes monotonically from the upstream side to the downstream side (in the literature, a resonant body) And is configured.

The intake sound introduction device can resonate the intake sound at a desired frequency by the resonance tube, and can increase the preferable sound and transmit it to the vehicle interior.

However, the conventional intake sound introduction device cannot reduce unnecessary high-frequency component sounds (for example, engine valve sounds, intake sounds transmitted at high speed, etc.) in the intake sounds. For this reason, an unnecessary sound is mixed with the intake sound transmitted to the vehicle interior, and there is a possibility that a preferable sound cannot be transmitted to the vehicle interior.

The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an intake sound introduction device that can reduce unnecessary sounds and transmit a preferable sound to the passenger compartment.

1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a side surface side of an intake sound introduction device according to an embodiment of the present invention. The figure (a) shows the sectional view of a transmission tube, and the figure (b) shows the sectional view of the transmission tube concerning other embodiments. FIG. 4A is an explanatory diagram showing the transmission of a low frequency component of the intake sound, and FIG. 4B is an explanatory diagram showing the transmission of a high frequency component of the intake sound. The schematic block diagram of the side surface side of the intake sound introduction device concerning other embodiments of the present invention is shown.

Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of an intake sound introduction device of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.

The intake sound introduction device 20 is provided in the engine compartment 3 of the vehicle 1 as shown in FIG. 1 (schematic configuration diagram). In the engine chamber 3, an intake pipe 5 for supplying combustion air to the engine EG is connected to the engine EG via an air cleaner AC. One end of the intake pipe 5 is opened and supported at the front end of the engine chamber 3, and the other end of the intake pipe 5 is connected to the engine EG. The intake pipe 5 is formed in a cylindrical shape with synthetic resin or the like. An intake sound introducing device 20 for introducing intake sound to a driver in the vehicle compartment 7 of the vehicle 1 is connected to the passenger compartment side 5a of the air cleaner AC of the intake pipe 5.

The intake sound introduction device 20 includes a branch pipe 21 that branches from the intake pipe 5, a sound creator (registered trademark) 30 that communicates with the branch pipe 21, and a transmission pipe 50 that communicates the sound creator 30 with the interior of the vehicle compartment 7. Have. One end of the branch pipe 21 is connected to an opening 5b provided on the vehicle compartment side 5a of the air cleaner AC of the intake pipe 5, and the other end side of the branch pipe 21 extends to the vehicle compartment 7 side. It is arranged in the inside. The branch pipe 21 is formed in a cylindrical shape from synthetic resin or the like.

The sound creator 30 includes an introduction pipe 31 connected to an end of the branch pipe 21 on the passenger compartment side, a vibrating body 33 provided at an end of the introduction pipe 31 on the passenger compartment side, and a casing surrounding the introduction pipe 31. 35. The vibrating body 33 is a synthetic resin or rubber sheet-like vibrating membrane, and vibrates due to the intake air pulsation of the intake sound transmitted through the branch pipe 21 and the introduction pipe 31. The housing 35 is formed in a box shape, and a front hole 35 a is provided on one end side of the housing 35, and a rear hole 35 b is provided on the other end side of the housing 35.

The front-side hole portion 35a is supported in a state in which the end portion on the intake pipe side of the introduction pipe 31 is opened, and the end portion on the vehicle interior side of the introduction pipe 31 has a predetermined distance inside the rear-side hole portion 35b. Are opposed to each other. The front hole portion 35a is formed in a circular shape substantially the same as the outer shape of the introduction tube 31, and the introduction tube 31 is inserted into the front hole portion 35a so that no sound leaks from the front hole portion 35a. A space 37 surrounded by a housing 35 is formed around the introduction pipe 31. The space portion 37 has such a size that a plurality of frequencies included in sound vibration using the vibration of the vibrating body 33 as a sound source can resonate by air column vibration. The rear hole 35 b has a circular shape with substantially the same size as the vibrating body 33, and allows intake pulsation generated from the vibrating body 33 to pass through the transmission tube 50.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2A (cross-sectional view), the transmission pipe 50 includes a cylindrical communication part 51 connected to the rear hole 35b of the housing 25, and the vehicle interior side of the communication part 51. It has a cylindrical step portion 55 that is connected to the end portion and projects outward from the communication portion 51 and extends toward the passenger compartment. The communication portion 51 communicates with the step portion 55 with the inner diameter being substantially the same as the inner diameter of the rear hole portion 35b. The communication part 51 is formed of a synthetic resin or the like.

The step portion 55 has an inner sectional area larger than the inner sectional area of the communication portion 51 and communicates with the vehicle compartment 7. The step portion 55 is arranged substantially coaxially with the communication portion 51, and the intake pipe side end portion of the step portion 55 is integrally connected to the compartment side end portion of the communication portion 51.

As shown in FIG. 1, the intake sound introduction device 20 configured as described above has an intake pulsation with a frequency corresponding to the rotational speed of the engine EG when outside air is drawn through the intake pipe 5 as the engine EG is driven. It occurs in the intake pipe 5. This intake pulsation is transmitted from the intake pipe 5 to the vibrating body 33 of the sound creator 30 through the branch pipe 21. For this reason, the vibrating body 33 vibrates at a frequency corresponding to the rotational speed of the engine EG. Accordingly, in the sound creator 30, sound vibration is generated using the vibration of the vibrating body 33 as a sound source. A plurality of frequencies included in the sound vibration are resonated by the air column vibration of the housing 35 and transmitted to the transmission tube 50.

Of the intake sound transmitted to the transmission pipe 50, an unnecessary high frequency component sound Sh, such as a valve sound of the engine EG or an intake sound transmitted at high speed, is generated by the step portion 55 of the transmission pipe 50. The volume of the sound is reduced. For this reason, it is possible to remove the high-frequency component sound Sh that is unnecessary for the intake sound transmitted into the passenger compartment 7, and to transmit the intake sound preferably into the passenger compartment 7.

The reason why the high-frequency component sound Sh can be removed by the step portion 55 is considered as follows.

The sound vibration of the intake sound transmitted to the transmission tube 50 is transmitted to the stepped portion 55 through the communication portion 51. As shown in FIG. 3 (a), the low frequency component sound Sd is included in the sound vibration. Even if it flows into the step portion 55, the diffraction is small and difficult to spread. For this reason, the amount of energy reduced by the sound vibration coming into contact with the inner surface 55a of the stepped portion 55 is small. For this reason, the volume of the sound hardly changes.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 3B, the high frequency component sound Sh of the sound vibration is diffracted and spreads greatly when it flows into the stepped portion 55. For this reason, the amount of energy which decreases when sound vibration contacts the inner surface 55a of the stepped portion 55 increases. For this reason, it is thought that the volume of a sound can be made small.

In the above-described embodiment, the transmission pipe 50 is shown in which the communication portion 51 and the step portion 55 are integrally formed (see FIG. 2A). However, as shown in FIG. The communication portion 51 '' and the step portion 55 'are formed of a bendable material and are formed as separate bodies, and the intake pipe side end portion of the step portion 55' is connected to the vehicle compartment side end portion of the communication portion 51 '. May be configured. In this case, the communication part 51 'is formed in a cylindrical shape. The step portion 55 ′ has a cylindrical connection portion 55′b into which the outer periphery of the end portion of the communication portion 51 ′ can be fitted to the end portion on the intake pipe side, and the passenger compartment side of the connection portion 55′b. An annular side wall 55′c that projects radially outward is formed at the end, and a cylindrical large pipe body 55′d that extends toward the compartment 7 is formed at the outer edge of the side wall 55′c. Yes.

The connecting portion 55'b is connected in a state of being fitted to the communicating portion 51 '. For example, a locking projection is provided on the inner surface of the connecting portion 55b ′, an engagement recess for locking the locking projection is provided on the outer surface of the communication portion 51 ′, and the locking projection is locked to the engagement recess and the communication portion. The communication portion 55 ′ may be connected to 51 ′. Further, the connecting portion 55 b ′ may be welded to the communicating portion 51 ′ and the communicating portion 55 ′ may be connected to the communicating portion 51 ′. In this way, the transmission pipe 50 is formed as a separate part of the communication part 51 ′ and the step part 55 ′, and the communication part 51 ′ and the step part 55 ′ are formed of a flexible material, so that The degree of freedom of arrangement of the transmission tube 50 can be improved.

In the above-described embodiment, the case where the branch pipe 21 and the transmission pipe 50 of the intake sound introduction device 20 communicate with each other via the sound creator 30 (see FIG. 1) is shown. However, as shown in FIG. The sound creator 30 may be formed by providing the vibration body 23 in the passenger compartment side end portion of the 21, and the intake pipe side end portion of the communication portion 51 of the transmission pipe 50 may be connected to the compartment side end portion of the branch pipe 21. . With this configuration, the structure of the intake sound introduction device 20 is simplified, and the cost of the intake sound introduction device 20 can be reduced.

Further, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the step portion 55 is formed on the passenger compartment side of the transmission pipe 50 is shown. However, the step portion 55 is formed on the passenger compartment side of the branch pipe 21, and this step portion 55 is formed by the sound creator. You may make it connect to the 30 introductory pipes 31.

In the above-described embodiment, the branch pipe 21 and the transmission pipe 50 are described as having a circular cross section. .
