を含み、前記決定することは、前記第1の角度に基づく前記外挿タッチ入力の特性を用いることを含む、方法。 - 前記タッチ入力は第1のタッチ入力を含み、前記外挿タッチ入力は第1の外挿タッチ入力を含み、前記方法は:
前記入力領域で第2のタッチ入力を受け取ることと;
前記入力領域での第2のタッチ入力の位置に基づいて、前記ディスプレイの主要部における第2の外挿タッチ入力を決定することと;
前記第1の外挿タッチ入力及び前記第2の外挿タッチ入力の交点が前記選択可能要素の位置と一致するとき、該選択可能要素の選択を行うこと
を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記外挿タッチ入力の特性は、前記ディスプレイの主要部における第2の角度である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記ディスプレイの主要部に外挿タッチ入力の位置を示す視覚表現を提供することを更に含む、請求項1から3の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記視覚表現は、前記入力領域でのタッチ入力の位置から前記ディスプレイの主要部に少なくとも一部入るまで延びる半直線を含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記タッチ入力の角度の変化に基づいて、前記外挿タッチ入力の位置を変更することを更に含む、請求項1から5の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記入力領域は前記ディスプレイの縁部に沿って配置される、請求項1から6の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記入力領域は、前記ディスプレイと実質的に同一平面上にある面によって規定される、請求項1から7の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記入力領域は、前記ディスプレイと成す角がゼロでない面によって規定される、請求項1から7の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記入力領域は前記ディスプレイによって規定される、請求項1から8の何れかに記載の方法。
- ディスプレイの主要部に選択可能要素の表示を行う手段と;
前記ディスプレイの主要部に近接する入力領域でタッチ入力を受け取る手段であって、前記入力領域は前記主要部と重ならない、前記受け取る手段と;
を備える装置であって、前記受け取る手段は、前記タッチ入力と前記入力領域とが成す第1の角度を検出するように構成され、更に前記装置は、
前記入力領域でのタッチ入力の位置に基づいて、前記ディスプレイの主要部における外挿タッチ入力を決定する手段と;
前記外挿タッチ入力の位置が前記選択可能要素の位置と一致するとき、該選択可能要素の選択を行う手段と;
を備え、前記決定する手段は、前記第1の角度に基づく前記外挿タッチ入力の特性を用いるように構成される、装置。 - 前記タッチ入力は第1のタッチ入力を含み、前記外挿タッチ入力は第1の外挿タッチ入力を含み、前記装置は:
前記入力領域で第2のタッチ入力を受け取る手段と;
前記入力領域での第2のタッチ入力の位置に基づいて、前記ディスプレイの主要部における第2の外挿タッチ入力を決定する手段と;
前記第1の外挿タッチ入力及び前記第2の外挿タッチ入力の交点が前記選択可能要素の位置と一致するとき、該選択可能要素の選択を行う手段
を更に備える、請求項11に記載の装置。 - 前記外挿タッチ入力の特性は、前記ディスプレイの主要部における第2の角度である、請求項11又は12に記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイの主要部に外挿タッチ入力の位置を示す視覚表現を提供することを更に含む、請求項11から13の何れかに記載の装置。
- 前記外挿タッチ入力の特性は、前記ディスプレイの主要部における特定の距離である、請求項1、2、4から10の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記外挿タッチ入力の特性は、前記ディスプレイの主要部における特定の距離である、請求項11、12、14の何れかに記載の装置。
- 処理手段と記憶手段とを備える装置であって、前記記憶手段はプログラム命令を格納し、該プログラム命令は、前記処理手段に実行されると、前記装置に、請求項1から10、15のいずれかに記載の方法を遂行させるように構成される、装置。
- 装置の処理手段に実行されると、前記装置に、請求項1から10、15のいずれかに記載の方法を遂行させるように構成されるプログラム命令を備える、コンピュータプログラム。
