Description
チャネル行列の推定及び決定に関しては、当業者は、それらを実行するための手段を適宜採用しうる。更なる説明については、本発明を不必要に分かりにくくすることを避けるために本明細書では行わない。
また、上りリンクMIMO送信用のランクを決定するため、基地局は、いくつかのランクの候補にそれぞれ対応するコードブックから望ましいプリコーディング・ベクトルを選択することを不必要に試みることになるが、決定されたランクに対応するコードブックから、ペイロードサイズを最大化する望ましいプリコーディング・ベクトルを直接選択することになり、その結果、プリコーディング・ベクトルの決定についての計算態様の複雑度及びオーバヘッドが省かれる。例えば、ランクを1として決定または推定する上記の場合には、基地局は、ランク2または3の検討後に適切なランク及び対応するプリコーディング・ベクトルを決定するために、コードブック内の各プリコーディング・ベクトルのそれぞれについて、対応するランク2または3をそれぞれ用いる上りリンク送信をもはや試みることはない。

Claims (4)
- ユーザ装置における上りリンク・ランクアダプテーションのための方法であって、
上りリンク送信用のランクを基地局から受信するステップと、
1つ以上の予め定められた閾値に基づいて、上りリンク送信用の前記ランクを変更するステップと、を含み、
前記1つ以上の予め定められた閾値は、ユーザ装置の送信バッファにバッファリングされたデータまたはユーザ装置の上りリンク送信グラントについての1つ以上の予め定められた閾値を含む
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 1つ以上の予め定められた閾値に基づいて、上りリンク送信用の前記ランクを変更するステップは、
バッファリングされているデータまたは上りリンク送信グラントが、前記1つ以上の予め定められた閾値より小さいと判定したことに応じて、上りリンク送信用の前記ランクを変更するステップを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記基地局から受信される前記ランクは、ランク2であり、
前記バッファリングされているデータまたは前記上りリンク送信グラントが、ランク2についての前記予め定められた閾値より小さいと判定したことに応じて、前記ランクがランク2からランク1に変更される
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 上りリンク送信用の前記ランクを変更するステップの前に、前記方法は、
ユーザ装置による、前記基地局によって決定された上りリンク送信用のランクの変更を可能にするインジケーションを前記基地局から受信するステップを更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
