Description
−残留ナトリウムに起因する化学的リスク。残留ナトリウムは例えば水とのまたは空気の酸素との化学反応のリスクがないように、不活性ガス(例えばアルゴンまたは窒素)下に置かれなければならない。処理の前の貯蔵の状態によって、表面のナトリウムの割合は、例えばソーダに、さらに水と接触して水素に、制御されない方法で、それでも変換されることがある;
−放射性物質、つまり反応器の一次回路からの放射性同位元素によるナトリウムの汚染に起因する放射線学的リスク。
Claims (11)
- 吸収ピンを処理するための方法であって、前記ピンが、亀裂のある、焼結炭化ホウ素に基づく材料であって、その体積の1%未満の気孔率を有する材料が存在する被覆管を含み、前記亀裂が、ナトリウムおよび少なくとも1つの放射性物質を含有し、前記方法が、前記材料と、分子百分率で0.5%〜5%の蒸気、5%〜25%の二酸化炭素および74.5%〜94.5%の化学的に不活性なガスを含む処理反応混合物とを接触させることによる炭酸化反応によって前記ナトリウムを炭酸ナトリウムに変換する工程を含み、
前記工程は、炭酸ナトリウムの体積膨張が、事前に被覆管に生じさせた少なくとも1つのスリットから出発する前記被覆管の亀裂を広げ、前記被覆管を開けることで
前記被覆管を機械的に弱化し、最初に炭酸化反応がアクセスしにくかったゾーンに前記炭酸化反応が伝播・持続し、前記材料内での前記処理方法の伝播を引き起こすものである、
方法。 - 前記ナトリウムを炭酸ナトリウムに変換する工程の前に、前記材料を、分子百分率で0.5%〜25%の二酸化炭素と残りの化学的に不活性なガスを含む前処理反応混合物と接触させることによる前処理工程が行われる、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記材料がペレットの形態である、請求項1または2に記載の処理方法。
- 前記炭化ホウ素の組成が、原子百分率で8.8%〜20%の間の炭素原子を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の処理方法。
- 前記不活性ガスが、窒素、アルゴンまたはそれらの混合物である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の処理方法。
- 前記処理反応混合物との接触が、40℃〜55℃の間の温度で行われる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の処理方法。
- 前記前処理反応混合物との接触が、40℃〜55℃の間の温度で行われる、請求項2に記載の処理方法。
- 前記方法が、閉じ込め用エンクロージャーで行われる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の処理方法。
- 前記閉じ込め用エンクロージャーが、グローブボックス、ホットセルまたは化学反応器である、請求項8に記載の処理方法。
- 前記処理反応混合物が、1時間に少なくとも1回の連続的な再生を許容する流量で前記閉じ込め用エンクロージャーに導入される、請求項8または9に記載の処理方法。
- 前記方法が、閉じ込め用エンクロージャーで行われ、前記前処理反応混合物が、1時間に少なくとも1回の連続的な再生を許容する流量で前記閉じ込め用エンクロージャーに導入される、請求項2に記載の処理方法。
