Claims (18)
- 透析システム(10,210,310)であって、
少なくとも一人の患者又は透析器(20, 108, 212, 312)と流体連通された吸着剤カートリッジ(32, 116, 200a, 200b, 300a, 300b)であって、前記吸着剤カートリッジは、ハウジング(40)を含み、前記ハウジング(40)は、ウレアーゼ層(62, 74, 84)が続く第1リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)であって、前記ウレアーゼ層(62, 74, 84)には第2リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)が続く、前記第1リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)を有し、酸化ジルコニウム層(64, 78, 86, 90)が前記第2リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)に隣接して配置され、炭素層(66, 80, 92)が前記酸化ジルコニウム層(64, 78, 86, 90)に隣接して配置される、前記吸着剤カートリッジと、
前記吸着剤カートリッジと流体連通された貯蔵容器(26, 104, 114, 224a, 224b, 230, 324, 330)と、
前記吸着剤カートリッジ及び前記貯蔵容器と流体連通されたポンプ(110, 218, 220, 232, 320, 332)と、
前記ポンプと操作可能に連通された制御ユニット(250, 350)であって、前記制御ユニットは、前記ポンプに透析液を圧送させて第1方向および第2方向に流すようにプログラムされた前記制御ユニットと、
を備え、
(i)前記吸着剤カートリッジを通る第1方向において、前記第1リン酸ジルコニウム層は、前記ウレアーゼ層、酸化ジルコニウム層または炭素層のうちの少なくとも一つより先に前記透析液によって接触され、
(ii)前記吸着剤カートリッジを通る第1方向とは逆の前記第2方向において、ウレアーゼ層、酸化ジルコニウム層または炭素層のうちの少なくとも一つが、前記第1リン酸ジルコニウム層より先に前記透析液によって接触される、透析システム。 - 前記制御ユニットは、前記ポンプに前記吸着剤カートリッジを通して前記透析液を少なくとも2サイクルの間再循環させ、その後、前記透析液が前記貯蔵容器に保存されるようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 血液透析、血液濾過、血液透析濾過または腹膜透析システムである、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記透析液は、前記第1方向に、前記吸着剤カートリッジ(32, 116, 200a, 200b, 300a, 300b)を通って、前記容器(26, 104, 114, 224a, 224b, 230, 324, 330)まで圧送されるように構成される、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記透析液は、前記第2方向に、前記吸着剤カートリッジ(32, 116, 200a, 200b, 300a, 300b)を通って、前記患者または透析器(20, 108, 212, 312)まで圧送されるように構成される、請求項2に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記貯蔵容器(26, 104, 114, 224a, 224b, 230, 324, 330)および前記患者または透析器(20, 108, 212, 312)間に設置される少なくとも一つのバルブを含み、前記制御ユニット(250, 350)は、(i)及び(ii)を行う為に、前記少なくとも一つのバルブ及び前記ポンプを操作するように更にプログラムされる、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記ポンプ(110, 218, 220, 232, 320, 332)は、可逆回転形ポンプであり、前記制御ユニット(250, 350)は、(i)から(ii)へ切り替える為に、前記ポンプを逆回転させるようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記透析システムは、輸液を更に含み、前記制御ユニット(250, 350)は、(ii)の間、前記輸液を前記透析液へと調整させるようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記制御ユニット(250, 350)は、前記ポンプ(110, 218, 220, 232, 320, 332)に前記透析液を圧送させて(i)前記第1リン酸ジルコニウム層が前記ウレアーゼ層及び前記第2リン酸ジルコニウム層より先に前記透析液によって接触される、前記吸着剤カートリッジを通る前記第1方向に、更に、(ii)前記第2リン酸ジルコニウム層及び前記ウレアーゼ層が前記第1リン酸ジルコニウム層より先に前記透析液によって接触される、前記吸着剤カートリッジを通る、前記第1方向とは逆方向の第2方向に圧送するようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記ウレアーゼ層(62, 74, 84)に、前記第2リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)、酸化ジルコニウム層(64, 78, 86, 90)、炭素層(66, 80, 92)のうち少なくとも一つが続く、請求項1に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記第2リン酸ジルコニウム層に酸化ジルコニウム層が続く、請求項10に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 前記酸化ジルコニウム層に炭素層が続く、請求項11に記載の透析システム(10, 210, 310)。
- 透析溶液を再生する方法において、
第1流体方向で透析液を吸着剤カートリッジ(32, 116, 200a, 200b, 300a, 300b)に通過させるステップであって、前記吸着剤カートリッジはハウジング(40)を含み、前記ハウジングは、ウレアーゼ層(62, 74, 84)が続く第1リン酸ジルコニウム(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)層であって、前記ウレアーゼ層(62, 74, 84)には第2リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)が続く、前記第1リン酸ジルコニウム層(60, 63, 72, 76, 88)を有し、酸化ジルコニウム層(64, 78, 86, 90)が前記第2リン酸ジルコニウム層に隣接して配置され、前記炭素層(66, 80, 92)が前記酸化ジルコニウム層に隣接して配置される、前記ステップと、
貯蔵容器(26, 104, 114, 224a, 224b, 230, 324, 330)内に、前記吸着剤カートリッジを通過した前記透析液を貯蔵するステップと、
前記第1流体方向とは逆の流体方向で、前記貯蔵容器から前記透析液を前記吸着剤カートリッジに通過させて戻すステップと、
を備える、方法。 - 前記方法は、血液透析、血液濾過、血液透析濾過または腹膜透析を行う為に使用される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記逆の流体方向において、前記透析液を最初に炭素(66, 80, 92)と接触させるステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記逆の流体方向において、第2の層(62, 74, 84)としてウレアーゼに前記透析液を接触させるステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記逆の流体方向において、第2の層(64, 78, 86, 90) として酸化ジルコニウムに前記透析液を接触させるステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
