Description
表面を有するセラミック材料の前処理工程であって、ここで、セラミック材料の前記表面は、高周波数もしくは無線周波数(HF、RF)などの直流(DC)または交流(AC)、またはマイクロ波(MW)により低圧力にて発生されるコンディショニングプラズマに暴露される、前処理工程、およびこれに続く第二工程であって、
前記表面に有機相を少なくとも部分的に適用するために有機化合物がプラズマに添加され、ここで、有機化合物は、脂肪族アミン類、環状アミン類、不飽和および芳香族アミン類、ならびにこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される、反応性プラズマによる処理の第二工程、
を含む。
真空プラズマ反応器中、形態がすでに構築されているインプラントへ、生体活性表面が適用される。真空プラズマ反応器 V55G(プラズマ‐フィニッシュ(Plasma-finish),シュヴェット,ドイツ)は、アルミニウム製であり、40×45×34cm3(幅×奥行き×高さ)の寸法を有している。プラズマは、マイクロ波放物面鏡(microwave parabolic mirror)によってその電力を反応器へ結合させるものであるマイクロ波プラズマ源(マイクロ波、MW、2.45GHz)によって点灯される。インプラントは、反応器中、8回転/分および120回転/分の両方にてインプラントをそれ自体の軸周りに回転させる回転手段に保持される。
粗さが異なる2種類のセラミック表面を用いた。プロファイラーDektak 3ST(ビーコ,セントバーバラ,米国、標準ダイヤモンド針半径 2.5μm、針圧 30mg、スキャン長さ 500μm;1チャージあたり3サンプルにて、500μmの長さにわたって100測定/サンプル)で測定した二乗平均粗さRqは、294±3nmおよび747±42nmである。まず、表面を、Ar/O2‐コンディショニングプラズマ(マイクロ波、2.45GHz、500W、50Pa、60秒)に暴露し、続いて、生体活性表面の生成のための前駆体アリルアミンの存在下にて、反応性プラズマ(マイクロ波、2.45GHz、500W、50Pa、実質的に144秒)で処理した。XPS表面分析により(結果を図1AおよびBに示す)、25から30%のN/C比で表される窒素含有量の上昇が検出された。表面上のアミノ基密度NH2/Cは、2〜3%であった。
粗さが異なる2種類のセラミック表面を用いた。プロファイラーDektak 3ST(ビーコ,セントバーバラ,米国、標準ダイヤモンド針半径 2.5μm、針圧 30mg、スキャン長さ 500μm;1チャージあたり3サンプルにて、500μmの長さにわたって100測定/サンプル)で測定した二乗平均粗さRqは、294±3nmおよび747±42nmである。表面を、Ar/O2標準圧プラズマ(HF、1MHz、10W、100kPa、120秒)に暴露し、生体活性表面を生成させた。XPS分析により、<1.3のC/Zr比が見出された。結果を図3AおよびBに示す。

MWおよびRFプラズマが、100kPaから500kPa(標準圧力範囲)の圧力にて発生される、項1に記載のプロセス。

前記プラズマが、不活性ガス下にて、または酸素、水素、水、過酸化水素の混合物と共に用いられる、項1または2に記載のプロセス。
<項4>
前記セラミック材料が、リューサイト含有またはリューサイト非含有酸化物セラミック、長石セラミックから成る群より選択される、項1から3の少なくとも一項に記載のプロセス。
<項5>
前記有機化合物が、エチレンジアミン、ヘプチルアミン、ジアミノプロパン、(置換)シクロプロピルアミン類、ジアミノシクロヘキサン類、アリルアミン、ジメチルホルムアミド、アジリン類、ピロール類、ピリジン類、ピペリジン類、またはピロリジン類などの窒素含有ヘテロ環類である、項1から4の少なくとも一項に記載のプロセス。
<項6>
項1から5の少なくとも一項に記載のプロセスによって得ることができる、有機相を備えたセラミックインプラント。
<項7>
1nmから10μmの厚さを有する有機相による少なくとも部分的なコーティングを備えた、項6に記載のセラミックインプラント。
<項8>
XPS測定によって測定された前記インプラントの表面上のアミノ基の密度NH 2 /Cが1〜8%である、項6または7に記載のセラミックインプラント。
<項9>
外部からの機械的応力に対する耐性を有する、有機相による少なくとも部分的なコーティングを備えた、項6から8の少なくとも一項に記載の材料。
<項10>
項6から9の少なくとも一項に記載のセラミックインプラントの、特に整形外科または歯科分野における、インプラントとしての使用。
Claims (8)
- 骨細胞組織への初期および恒久的結合を形成する表面を有するセラミックインプラントを製造するためのプロセスであって、前記表面は、骨結合の改善を提供し、前記プロセスは、
セラミック材料の前処理工程であって、前記セラミック材料の表面は、直流(DC)または、高周波数(HF)、無線周波数(RF)およびマイクロ波(MW)からなる群から選択される交流(AC)により発生されるコンディショニングプラズマに暴露される、前処理工程、およびこれに続く第二工程であって;
前記セラミック材料の前記表面に有機相を少なくとも部分的に適用するために有機化合物が前記コンディショニングプラズマに添加され、ここで、前記有機化合物は、脂肪族アミン類、環状アミン類、不飽和および芳香族アミン類、ならびにこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選択される、反応性プラズマによる処理の第二工程、
を含む、プロセス。 - 前記コンディショニングプラズマは、0.1Paから1kPaの圧力にて発生される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- MWおよびRFプラズマが、100kPaから500kPa(標準圧力範囲)の圧力にて発生される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記コンディショニングプラズマが、不活性ガスのプラズマ、または不活性ガスと酸素、水素、水または過酸化水素のうちの1つ以上とのプラズマである、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記セラミック材料が、リューサイト含有またはリューサイト非含有酸化物セラミック、長石セラミックから成る群より選択される、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記有機化合物が、エチレンジアミン、ヘプチルアミン、ジアミノプロパン、置換されていてもよいシクロプロピルアミン類、ジアミノシクロヘキサン類、アリルアミン、ジメチルホルムアミド、または、アジリン類、ピロール類、ピリジン類、ピペリジン類、およびピロリジン類からなる群から選択される窒素含有ヘテロ環類である、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 1nmから10μmの厚さを有する有機相による少なくとも部分的なコーティングを備え、XPS測定によって測定されたインプラントの表面上のアミノ基の密度NH2/Cが1〜8%であり、リューサイト含有酸化物セラミック及び長石セラミックからなる群より選択されるセラミックから形成されるセラミックインプラント。
- 外部からの機械的応力に対する耐性を有する、有機相による少なくとも部分的なコーティングを備えた、請求項7に記載のセラミックインプラント。
