Description
試薬としてCa(NO3)2・4H2O(和光純薬工業製、試薬特級)とNH4H2PO4(和光純薬工業製、試薬特級)を使用し、カルシウムとリンのモル比(Ca/P)が1.67となるように、2.0MのCa(NO3)2・4H2O水溶液20mlと、1.2MのNH4H2PO4水溶液20mlを、それぞれ160mlの蒸留水中に1ml/minの速度で、蒸留水を撹拌しながら同時に滴下した。次に、ホットスターラーを用いて、混合溶液を撹拌しながら12〜16時間100℃で加熱及び乾燥し、スラリー状の試料(図1(c)参照)を得た。スラリー状の試料を湿気の少ない場所で冷ますと、34℃程度から固化し始め、30℃程度で完全に固まって、図1(a)に示すようにバルク体となった。
次に、デュロメータ(テクロック製、GS−720H タイプD)を用いて、バルク体試料の硬度を次のように測定した。平らな面に置いた試料の平面に、両手でしっかりと保持したデュロメータの加圧面(押針面)を真上から一定速度で垂直に押しつけ、密着後ただちに指示した最大値を硬さとして読み取り、ISO−7619に基づき5点中央値を結果とした。測定結果の数値はD0〜D100で表される。
続いて、粉末X線回折装置(理学製、MiniFlex、XRD)を用いて、以下の条件で試料を同定した。X線の管球にはCuを用いた。フィルタにはKβフィルタを用いた。スリットは発散スリットVariable、散乱スリット4.2deg、受光スリット0.3mmとし、ゴニオメータの走査速度は2.0°/minで、サンプリング幅0.01°、走査範囲を10.0〜50.0°とした。
そこで、試料の熱分析結果から性状変化の原因を検討した。まず、差動型示差熱天秤を用いて、熱重量分析(TGA)および示差熱分析(DTA)を行った。TGAとDTAを同時に行い、温度変化による試料の反応を分析した。本試験では、基準物質としてAl2O3を使用し、室温〜1000℃まで2℃/minで温度上昇させた。
(a)60℃付近に大きな吸熱ピークが見られた。これは、硝酸塩が結晶水に溶けたため、吸熱反応が起こったと考えられる。結晶水は250℃までに放出された(6.1式参照)。

(b)80℃から170℃の間でNH4NO3が転移した。NH4NO3の温度上昇による変化は、次の通りである。
α−斜方晶←84.2℃→正方晶←125℃→立方晶←169.5℃→液相
(c)160℃付近に吸熱ピークが見られた。これは、NH4NO3が液相に転移したと考えられる。
(d)NH4NO3は142℃付近から分解した(6.2式参照)。

(e)290℃付近にNH4NO3が分解したときの発熱ピークが見られた。
(f)Ca(NO3)2の融点は561℃である。融点に相当する吸熱ピークは520℃付近に見られた。また、500℃付近からCa(NO3)2は分解し始めた(6.3式参照)。

なお、2.1式においてhは昇温速度、Tpは発熱ピークの温度(K),Rは気体定数(8.314J/mol・K)、Ecは活性化エネルギー(kJ/mol)である。
熱分析の結果を踏まえて、試料を300℃、400℃、500℃、600℃でそれぞれ2時間焼成し、これらの表面観察を行った。表面観察には走査型電子顕微鏡(日立製作所製、S−2600N、SEM)を使用し、測定条件は加速電圧15kV、ビーム50である。
試料の性状変化の原因が硝酸カルシウムなどの窒素化合物である可能性が高いため、リン酸カルシウム系化合物に硝酸カルシウムを混合した場合について検討した。具体的には、リン酸カルシウムニ水和物(Ca3(PO4)2・2H2O、和光純薬工業製 試薬特級)2.0Mと硝酸カルシウム四水和物(和光純薬工業製 試薬特級)1.2Mとを、実施例と同様に滴下、加熱・乾燥を行って試料(比較例)を得た。しかし、これにより得られた化合物では、特異な性状変化は起こらなかった。
Claims (4)
- リンとカルシウムのモル比(Ca/P)が1.6〜1.7となる範囲で、1.9〜2.1Mの硝酸カルシウム四水和物と、1.1〜1.3Mのリン酸二水素アンモニウムとを含む水溶液を、80〜100℃に加熱して合成する、硝酸カルシウム及び硝酸アンモニウムを含むリン酸カルシウム系化合物の製造方法。
- 35℃未満ではバルク体状であり、多湿雰囲気下では湿潤状態化し、40℃以上に加熱するとスラリー状となり、これらの各状態が雰囲気に応じて可逆的に変化する、硝酸カルシウム及び硝酸アンモニウムを含むリン酸カルシウム系化合物。
- 硝酸カルシウム、硝酸アンモニウム、リン酸二水素カルシウム、及びリン酸水素カルシウムを含む複合材料となっている、請求項2に記載のリン酸カルシウム系化合物。
- 硝酸カルシウムの中にリン酸カルシウム系粒子が分布する構造を持つ、請求項2または請求項3に記載の硝酸カルシウム及び硝酸アンモニウムを含むリン酸カルシウム系化合物。
