Claims (11)
- 複数の原料粉末層に電磁放射線又は粒子放射線を照射することによって三次元ワークピースを製造する装置(10)において用いられる粉末周回路(36)であって、
キャリア(16)と該キャリア(16)上に原料粉末を塗布する粉末塗布手段(14)とを収容し、該粉末塗布手段(14)へ原料粉末を供給する粉末導入口(30)と過剰の原料粉末を排出する粉末排出口(32)とが設けられたプロセスチャンバー(12)と、
前記プロセスチャンバー(12)の粉末排出口(32)と前記プロセスチャンバー(12)の粉末導入口(30)を接続している粉末循環路(34)と、
前記粉末循環路(34)を通って原料粉末を搬送する、前記粉末循環路(34)内に配置された搬送手段(38)と、
前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターと前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターの少なくとも一方を検出するように適合された感知装置(42)と、
前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターと前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターの少なくとも一方に応じて、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を制御するように適合された制御部(40)とを有し、
前記制御部(40)は、前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターが、前記搬送手段(38)の下流の前記粉末循環路(34)内の粉末量が所定の閾値より上にあることを示している場合には、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を停止するように適合されたものであることを特徴とする粉末周回路。 - 前記制御部(40)は、前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターと前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターの少なくとも一方が所定の範囲外である場合には、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を停止するように適合されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粉末周回路。
- 前記制御部(40)は、前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターが、前記搬送手段(38)の上流の前記粉末循環路(34)内の粉末量が所定の閾値より下にあることを示している場合には、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を停止するように適合されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の粉末周回路。
- 前記感知装置(42)は、前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターを検出するための、前記搬送手段(38)の上流の前記粉末循環路(34)内に配置された第1のセンサー(44)を具備するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の粉末周回路。
- 前記感知装置(42)は、前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターを検出するための、前記搬送手段(38)の下流の前記粉末循環路(34)内に配置された第2のセンサー(46)を具備するものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の粉末周回路。
- 複数の原料粉末層に電磁放射線又は粒子放射線を照射することによって三次元ワークピースを製造する装置(10)において用いられる粉末周回路(36)を稼働する方法であって、
キャリア(16)と該キャリア(16)上に原料粉末を塗布する粉末塗布手段(14)とを収容するプロセスチャンバー(12)から、該プロセスチャンバー(12)の粉末排出口(32)を経由して過剰の原料粉末を排出する工程と、
前記プロセスチャンバー(12)から排出される原料粉末を、粉末循環路(34)を通って、前記粉末塗布手段(14)へ原料粉末を供給するための前記プロセスチャンバー(12)の粉末導入口(30)を経由して、前記プロセスチャンバー(12)へ再循環させる工程と、
前記粉末循環路(34)内に配置された搬送手段(38)によって、前記粉末循環路(34)を通して原料粉末を搬送する工程と、
前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターと前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターの少なくとも一方を検出する工程と、
前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターと前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターの少なくとも一方に応じて、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を制御する工程とを有し、
前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターが、前記搬送手段(38)の下流の前記粉末循環路(34)内の粉末量が所定の閾値より上にあることを示している場合には、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を停止することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターと前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターの少なくとも一方が所定の範囲外である場合には、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を停止することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターが、前記搬送手段(38)の上流の前記粉末循環路(34)内の粉末量が所定の閾値より下にあることを示している場合には、前記搬送手段(38)の作動を停止することを特徴とする請求項6又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記搬送手段(38)への粉末供給の特性を示すパラメーターを、前記搬送手段(38)の上流の前記粉末循環路(34)内に配置した第1のセンサー(44)によって検出することを特徴とする請求項6から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記搬送手段(38)からの粉末排出の特性を示すパラメーターを、前記搬送手段(38)の下流の前記粉末循環路(34)内に配置した第2のセンサー(46)によって検出することを特徴とする請求項6から請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 複数の原料粉末層に電磁放射線又は粒子放射線を照射することによって三次元ワークピースを製造する装置(10)であって、
照射手段(18)と
請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の粉末周回路(36)とを備えるものであることを特徴とする装置。
