Description

The present invention relates to a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a chromium-free chemical conversion plated steel sheet.

In order to impart functions such as corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and workability to the plated steel sheet, chemical conversion treatment is performed on the plated steel sheet. As the chemical conversion treatment, chromium chemical conversion treatment has been generally used, but recently, chromium-free chemical conversion treatment has also been used in consideration of environmental problems.
Conventionally, in the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment, the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid stored in the coater pan is pumped up by the pickup roll, and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid adhering to the surface of the pickup roll is transferred to the surface of the applicator roll. It is performed by applying a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution to a plated steel sheet by talol (for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).

Also, in the actual production line for chemical conversion-treated plated steel sheets, a coating device for chrome chemical conversion treatment and a coating device for chrome-free chemical conversion treatment are provided, and these coating devices are selected and used when the plated steel plate is passed. By doing so, the chromium chemical conversion treatment and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment are repeatedly performed continuously. In such a production line, when chromium conversion treatment is performed on a plated steel sheet, the coating apparatus for chromium-free chemical conversion treatment is in a standby state. In the standby state, the applicator roll is held at a position away from the plated steel sheet, and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid is circulated between the coater pan and the applicator roll. When switching from the chrome conversion treatment to the chrome-free conversion treatment, the chrome conversion treatment coating device is set in a standby state, and the applicator roll of the chrome-free conversion treatment coating device is brought into contact with the plated steel sheet.

特開2013−132594号公報JP 2013-132594 A 特開2011−42834号公報JP 2011-42834 A

In the production line as described above, when switching from the chrome conversion treatment to the chrome-free conversion treatment, white unevenness may occur over the entire plated steel sheet immediately after the change, resulting in deterioration in quality and yield. As a result of investigating the cause of this white unevenness, the product of the reaction between the plating component of the plated steel sheet and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution and the corrosion decomposition product of the applicator roll adhere to the surface of the plated steel sheet through the applicator roll. It turned out to be the main cause.
Since white unevenness mainly occurs when switching from chrome conversion treatment to chrome-free conversion treatment, it is only necessary to consolidate chrome conversion treatment and chrome-free conversion treatment, respectively, and reduce switching from chrome conversion treatment to chrome-free conversion treatment. it is conceivable that. However, in this method, it is necessary to connect plated steel sheets whose widths and / or thicknesses are not the same by welding via a connecting plate. For this reason, the production efficiency of the line is lowered, dirt is also easily attached, and the product quality may be lowered.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and provides a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method for a chromium-free chemical conversion-treated plated steel sheet that can suppress white unevenness that occurs during the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment of a plated steel sheet. The purpose is to provide.

As a result of diligent research to solve the above problems, the present inventors suppressed corrosion of the applicator roll by using an acid-resistant applicator roll, and plated components of the plated steel sheet and a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution. It has been found that the occurrence of white unevenness can be reduced by providing the applicator roll with a blade that removes the product resulting from the reaction with.

That is, the present invention is a chromium-free chemical conversion plated steel sheet that is used in a production line in which chromium conversion treatment and chromium-free chemical conversion treatment are repeatedly and continuously performed, and includes an applicator roll that applies a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid to the plated steel sheet. Manufacturing equipment,
The applicator roll has acid resistance;
A chromium-free chemical conversion treatment, further comprising a blade capable of contacting the applicator roll, wherein the blade removes a product resulting from a reaction between a plating component of the plated steel sheet and a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid. It is a manufacturing apparatus of a plated steel plate.

Further, the present invention provides a manufacturing line in which a chromium conversion treatment and a chromium-free conversion treatment are repeatedly and continuously performed, before the chromium-free conversion treatment is performed on the plated steel plate, by using the apparatus for manufacturing a chemical conversion-treated plated steel plate. By bringing the blade into contact with the surface of the talol, the product of the reaction between the plating component of the plated steel sheet and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid is removed. is there.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the manufacturing apparatus and manufacturing method of a chromium free chemical conversion treatment plated steel plate which can suppress the white nonuniformity produced at the time of the chromium free chemical conversion treatment of a plated steel plate can be provided.

It is a block diagram which shows the manufacturing apparatus of the chromium free chemical conversion treatment plated steel plate of this invention.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a chromium-free chemical conversion plated steel sheet according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The manufacturing apparatus of the chromium free chemical conversion treatment plated steel plate of this invention is equipped with the applicator roll which apply | coats a chromium free chemical conversion treatment liquid to a plating steel plate.
FIG. 1 shows an apparatus for producing a chromium-free chemical conversion treated steel sheet for applying a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid to the upper and lower surfaces of a plated steel sheet 1 as one embodiment of the present invention. On the upper surface side of the plated steel plate 1, an applicator roll 2 that transfers the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid to the plated steel plate 1, a pickup roll 3 that pumps up the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution stored in the coater pan 5, and an applicator roll 2. And a pick-up roll 3, and a three-stage roll coater provided with a transfer roll 4 that transfers the chromium-free chemical conversion liquid pumped up by the pick-up roll 3 to the applicator roll 2. On the other hand, on the lower surface side of the plated steel plate 1, the applicator roll 2 that transfers the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid to the steel plate 1 and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution stored in the coater pan 5 are pumped and transferred to the applicator roll 2. A two-stage roll coater including a pickup roll 3 is provided. The roll coaters on the upper surface side and the lower surface side are provided so as to face each other with the plated steel plate 1 interposed therebetween. 1 shows an example in which a three-stage roll coater is used on the upper surface side of the plated steel sheet 1 and a two-stage roll coater is used on the lower surface side of the plated steel sheet 1, but the types of roll coaters used on the upper surface side and the lower surface side are shown. Is not limited to the combination.

The applicator roll 2 is not particularly limited as long as it has acid resistance. Here, in this specification, “applicator roll 2 having acid resistance” means that when the applicator roll 2 is brought into contact with the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution at 40 ° C. for 7 days, the decomposition product is visually observed on the surface. It means something that is not confirmed. By using the applicator roll 2 having acid resistance, the corrosion suppression effect of the applicator roll 2 due to contact with the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid can be enhanced. Can be suppressed.

As an applicator roll 2 preferable for use in the present invention, hardness, weight, tension when contacted with a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution (for example, when contacted with a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution at 40 ° C. for 7 days) It is preferable that the rate of change in strength and tensile elongation is equal to or less than that of a roll having a surface layer containing urethane rubber as a main component. Examples of the applicator roll 2 having such characteristics include a roll having a surface layer containing fluorine rubber, ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) or the like as a main component. Here, the “main component” in the present specification means a component whose proportion of the whole component exceeds 50% by mass.

Table 1 below shows the results of the hardness, weight, tensile strength and rate of change in tensile elongation when various rolls were brought into contact with the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment solution at 40 ° C. for 7 days, and the presence or absence of decomposition products. Show. In Table 1, the results of the rate of change in hardness, weight, tensile strength and tensile elongation are relative evaluations with respect to roll A having a surface layer containing urethane rubber as a main component, and ◎ is smaller in rate of change than roll A. ○ means that the rate of change is equivalent to that of roll A, and Δ means that the rate of change is larger than that of roll A.

Figure 0006064009
Figure 0006064009

In the above evaluation, the hardness (Shore hardness) is based on JIS K6253-3, using a type A durometer, the dimensions of all the test pieces (the thickness of the test piece is 6.0 mm or more), the measurement temperature, etc. Measured in the same way. The weight was measured with a scale. The tensile strength and tensile elongation were measured in accordance with JIS K6251 using a tensile tester with the same dimensions and measurement temperatures of all the test pieces. The presence or absence of decomposition products was confirmed visually.

As shown in Table 1, roll B having a surface layer containing EPDM as a main component, roll C having a surface layer containing fluorine rubber as a main component, or roll D having a surface layer containing synthetic rubber as a main component are acid resistant. Have sex. Among them, roll B having a surface layer containing EPDM as a main component or roll C having a surface layer containing fluorine rubber as a main component is preferable because of excellent acid resistance, and roll B having a surface layer containing EPDM as a main component is cost effective. It is more preferable because it is excellent.

The applicator roll 2 is further provided with a blade 6 that can contact the applicator roll 2. The blade 6 has a function of removing a product adhered to the surface of the applicator roll 2 and reacting with a plating component of the plated steel sheet 1 and a chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid. The blade 6 is also called a doctor blade or a doctor knife, and removes the product attached to the surface of the applicator roll 2 by contacting with the rotating applicator roll 2.

The blade 6 is not particularly limited, and those known in the technical field can be used. Among these, it is preferable that the tip (blade edge) of the blade 6 is felt, nonwoven fabric or sponge. Since the blade 6 having such a tip has high water absorption and moderate flexibility, the ability to remove the product attached to the surface of the applicator roll 2 is enhanced. As the non-woven fabric, a non-woven fabric made of nylon and a sponge made of PTFE, PFA, FEP, etc. are particularly preferable.

The blade 6 is pressed against the surface of the applicator roll 2 by a support member (not shown) such as an arm so that the tip (blade edge) of the blade 6 contacts the surface of the applicator roll 2 at an appropriate angle. Supported.
The blade 6 may have a width over the entire axial direction of the applicator roll 2, but a narrow one may be movable in the axial direction of the applicator roll 2. By using the narrow blade 6 that can move in the axial direction of the applicator roll 2, the blade 6 can be easily brought into uniform contact with the surface of the applicator roll 2. The removal ability of becomes higher.

The blade 6 is brought into contact with the applicator roll 2 in a standby state of the production apparatus for the chromium-free chemical conversion-treated steel sheet in a production line where the chromium chemical conversion treatment and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment are repeatedly and continuously performed. Thereby, when it switches from chromium chemical conversion treatment to chromium free chemical conversion treatment, the white nonuniformity which arises over the whole plated steel plate 1 immediately after switching can be reduced.

The pickup roll 3 and the transfer roll 4 are not particularly limited, and those known in the technical field can be used. For example, a hard-plated metal roll such as chrome plating can be used as the pickup roll 3 and the transfer roll 4.

It does not specifically limit as a chromium free chemical conversion treatment liquid which can be used for the manufacturing apparatus of the chromium free chemical conversion treatment plated steel plate of this invention, A well-known thing can be used in the said technical field. Examples of the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid include a treatment liquid containing at least one of phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and salts thereof. Although the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment liquid containing such a component may cause a reaction product (for example, aluminum phosphate, aluminum fluoride, magnesium phosphate, etc.) with the plating component of the plated steel sheet 1, this reaction The product can be removed by the blade 6.

It does not specifically limit as the plated steel plate 1 which can be used for the manufacturing apparatus of the chromium free chemical conversion treatment plated steel plate of this invention, A well-known thing can be used in the said technical field. Examples of the plated steel sheet 1 include zinc-based plated steel sheets such as Zn—Al-based plated steel sheets, Zn—Mg-based plated steel sheets, Zn—Ni-based plating, and Zn—Al—Mg-based plated steel sheets.

(Comparative Example 2)
Except that the blade 6 was not provided, an apparatus for producing a chromium-free chemical conversion-treated plated steel sheet having the same configuration as in Example 1 was produced, and the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment was performed in the same manner as in Example 1.

In the above Examples and Comparative Examples, the length of the white unevenness generated in the plated steel sheet 1 was visually evaluated when switching from the chromium chemical conversion treatment to the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment. The length of the white unevenness was an average value of the evaluation results at each switching.
As a result, the length of the white unevenness was 27 m in Comparative Example 1 and 6 m in Comparative Example 2, whereas it was as short as 3 m in Example 1. That is, by using the applicator roll 2 having acid resistance and the blade 6 in combination, it was possible to reduce the occurrence of white unevenness when switching from the chrome conversion treatment to the chrome-free conversion treatment.

As can be seen from the above results, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a chromium-free chemical conversion-treated plated steel sheet that can suppress white unevenness that occurs during the chromium-free chemical conversion treatment of the plated steel sheet 1. .
