Description
本願は、2009年9月11日に出願された米国特許出願第12/557,819号の優先権を主張する一部継続出願であり、その全内容が参照により組み込まれる。
図52〜57は、弧状のまたは湾曲した第1および第2ウイングを含む本発明の棘状突起癒合装置の代替的実施形態の異なる図を示す。湾曲した第1および第2ウイングは、背骨のいずれかの高さでの椎体に好適とすることができるが、湾曲した第1および第2ウイングは、仙腸骨S1解剖学的構造の湾曲特徴に適応するのに特に役立つ。
Claims (15)
- 埋め込み可能な装置であって、
ロッド部材を含む本体と、
前記本体に作動的に取り付けられる第1ウイングであって、実質的湾曲部に遷移する実質的直線部を備える第1ウイングと、
前記本体に作動的に取り付けられる第2ウイングであって、実質的湾曲部に遷移する実質的直線部を備える第2ウイングと、
を含み、
前記第1ウイングの前記実質的直線部は縦軸に沿って配置され、
前記第1ウイングの前記実質的湾曲部は、前記縦軸に対して角度を付けられており、かつ、前記第1ウイングの前記実質的直線部に対して外向きに広がっている、埋め込み可能な装置。 - 前記ロッド部材が複数の突起を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングが、前記実質的直線部上に形成された複数の歯を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングが、前記実質的湾曲部上に形成された複数の歯を含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングの湾曲度が前記第2ウイングの湾曲と実質的に同じである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングの実質的直線部に対する実質的湾曲部の湾曲度が0度から90度までの間である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングの実質的湾曲部が、前記第1ウイングの実質的直線部に対して調節可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 埋め込み可能な装置であって、
本体と、
前記本体に作動的に取り付けられる第1ウイングであって、第1の歯の組を含む実質的湾曲部に遷移する実質的直線部を備える第1ウイングと、
前記本体に作動的に取り付けられる第2ウイングであって、第2の歯の組を含む実質的湾曲部を備える第2ウイングと、
を含み、
前記第1ウイングの前記実質的直線部は縦軸に沿って配置され、
前記第1ウイングの前記実質的湾曲部は、前記縦軸に対して角度を付けられており、かつ、前記第1ウイングの前記実質的直線部に対して外向きに広がっている、埋め込み可能な装置。 - 前記本体がロッド部材を含む、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングが前記実質的湾曲部に遷移する実質的直線部を含む、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記実質的直線部が歯の組を含む、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記実質的直線部上の前記歯の組が、前記実質的湾曲部上の前記歯の組とは異なる高さおよび/または幾何学的形状を有する、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記第1ウイングが約0度から約90度までの間の湾曲を有する、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 埋め込み可能な装置であって、
中央バレルを含む本体と、
前記本体に作動可能に取り付けられる第1ウイングであって、実質的湾曲部に遷移する実質的直線部を備える第1ウイングと、
前記本体に作動可能に取り付けられる第2ウイングであって、実質的湾曲部に遷移する実質的直線部を備える第2ウイングと、

前記第1ウイングの前記実質的直線部は縦軸に沿って配置され、
前記第1ウイングの前記実質的湾曲部は、前記縦軸に対して角度を付けられており、かつ、前記第1ウイングの前記実質的直線部に対して外向きに広がっている、埋め込み可能な装置。 - 前記本体が、ラチェット機構を提供するための突起を有するロッド部材をさらに含む、請求項14に記載の装置。
