Description
ハーレクインバグ、クサギカメムシの屋内の行動反応
フェロモン、ムルガンチオール
捕捉実験は、既知のハーレクインバグのフェロモン、ムルガンチオールに対するBMSBの成虫の潜在的な誘引を研究するために、5月初旬に12日間、ペンシルバニア州ピッツバーグで、越冬しているカメムシの個体群のいる3軒の家の中で行われた。実験中又は実験前、越冬しているカメムシが冬眠から目覚め始め、家の中を歩き回り這いつくばった。3つの処理ルアー及びブランクコントロールが、ブロックのデザインのスターリングレスキュー!(Sterling Rescue!)(登録商標)カメムシトラップ(図1)を使用して試験された。3つの処理は、(i)極性の強いムルガンチオール混合物(8つの極性の強い立体異性体の混合物)5mg、(ii)極性の弱いムルガンチオール(8つの極性の弱い立体異性体の混合物)5mg、(iii)16のムルガンチオールの立体異性体のラセミ混合物5mgを含む。(i)、(ii)及び(iii)の試験試料は、Zahn et. al, J. Chem. Ecol. 34:238(2008)によって記載される方法に基づいて合成され、分離された。以下のスキームは、シトロネラルから始めてステレオマのラセミ混合物を調合する方法の概要である。
以下、出願当初の特許請求の範囲に記載された発明を付記する。
[1]屋内の所定の場所にカメムシを誘引する方法であって、有効量のムルガンチオールを含む組成物を前記屋内の所定の場所に与えることを具備し、前記ムルガンチオールは、カメムシを前記屋内の所定の場所に誘引する効力を有する、方法。
[2]前記カメムシはクサギカメムシである[1]の方法。
[3]前記屋内の所定の場所は、屋内のカメムシトラップである[1]の方法。
[4]前記カメムシトラップは、複数の照明要素を有する[3]の方法。
[5]前記照明要素は、複数の発光ダイオードを有する[4]の方法。
[6]前記組成物は、ラセミ混合物から得られ分離されたムルガンチオールの極性の強い混合物として定義される単離された混合物を含む[1]の方法。
[7]前記組成物は、ラセミ混合物から得られ分離されたムルガンチオールの極性の弱い混合物として定義される単離された混合物を含む[1]の方法。
[8]前記組成物は、ムルガンチオールの立体異性体のラセミ混合物を含む[1]の方法。
[9]前記組成物は、前記組成物を制御可能に放出する装置に含まれる[1]の方法。
[10]前記組成物は、さらに、メチル(2E,4E,6Z)−デカトリエノエート、これに関連する立体異性体、又はこれらの組合せを含む[1]の方法。
[11]前記組成物は、さらに、酸化防止剤を含む[1]の方法。
[12]前記組成物は、さらに、オイルを含む[1]の方法。
[13]カメムシをカメムシトラップに誘引する方法であって、前記カメムシトラップは、複数の照明要素を有し、この方法は、カメムシを前記トラップの内部に配置された組成物に含まれるムルガンチオールの相乗量に晒すことを具備し、前記照明要素及び前記ムルガンチオールは、カメムシを前記カメムシトラップに相乗的に誘引し、前記カメムシトラップは屋内用である、方法。
[14]前記カメムシはオス又はメスのクサギカメムシである[13]の方法。
[15]前記照明要素は、複数の発光ダイオードを有する[13]の方法。
[16]カメムシを誘引して捕捉するためのトラップであって、このトラップは、ムルガンチオールを含む組成物の有効量を含み、このトラップは屋内用である、トラップ。
[17]前記組成物は、ラセミ混合物から得られ分離されたムルガンチオールの極性の強い混合物として定義される単離された混合物を含む[16]のトラップ。
[18]前記組成物は、ラセミ混合物から得られ分離されたムルガンチオールの極性の弱い混合物として定義される単離された混合物を含む[16]のトラップ。
[19]前記組成物は、ムルガンチオールの立体異性体のラセミ混合物を含む[16]のトラップ。
[20]前記組成物は、さらに、メチル(2E,4E,6Z)−デカトリエノエート、これに関連する立体異性体、又はこれらの組合せを含む[16]のトラップ。
[21]前記組成物は、さらに、酸化防止剤を含む[16]のトラップ。
[22]前記組成物は、さらに、オイルを含む[16]のトラップ。
[23]さらに、クサギカメムシを捕捉するように構成されている[16]のトラップ。
[24]複数の照明要素をさらに具備する[16]のトラップ。
[25]前記照明要素は、複数の発光ダイオードを有する[24]のトラップ。
Claims (12)
- クサギカメムシを誘引する方法であって、
クサギカメムシを誘引して捕捉するように構成されたトラップにムルガンチオールを含む組成物を配置することと、
クサギカメムシを前記トラップに誘引することとを具備する方法。 - 前記トラップは、複数の照明要素をさらに有する請求項1の方法。
- 前記照明要素は、発光ダイオードを有する請求項2の方法。
- 前記組成物は、前記組成物を制御可能に放出する装置に含まれる請求項1の方法。
- 前記組成物は、さらに、メチル(2E,4E,6Z)−デカトリエノエート、メチル(2E,4Z)−デカジエノエート、メチル(2E,4Z)−デカジエノエート、メチル(2Z,4E)−デカジエノエート、メチル(2E,4E)−デカジエノエート、これらに関連する立体異性体、又はこれらの組合せを含む請求項1の方法。
- 前記組成物は、さらに、酸化防止剤を含む請求項1の方法。
- 前記組成物は、さらに、オイルを含む請求項1の方法。
- クサギカメムシをトラップに誘引する方法であって、
クサギカメムシを誘引して捕捉するように構成されたトラップにムルガンチオールを含む組成物を配置することと、
クサギカメムシを前記トラップに誘引することとを具備し、
前記トラップは、複数の照明要素を有する、方法。 - 前記照明要素は、発光ダイオードを有する請求項8の方法。
- 屋内の場所に前記トラップを配置することと、
前記屋内の場所でクサギカメムシを前記トラップに誘引することとをさらに具備する請求項1の方法。 - 屋内の場所に前記トラップを配置することと、
前記屋内の場所でクサギカメムシを前記トラップに誘引することとをさらに具備する請求項8の方法。 - 前記組成物は、さらに、メチル(2E,4E,6Z)−デカトリエノエート、メチル(2E,4Z)−デカジエノエート、メチル(2E,4Z)−デカジエノエート、メチル(2Z,4E)−デカジエノエート、メチル(2E,4E)−デカジエノエート、これらに関連する立体異性体、又はこれらの組合せを含む請求項8の方法。
