Claims (5)
- 内燃機関(10)の吸気を加圧して供給する過給機(11)と、前記内燃機関の排気通路(10ex)に配置されて排気中のNOxを還元触媒上で浄化するNOx浄化装置(12)と、を備えた燃焼システムに設けられ、前記排気通路のうち前記還元触媒の上流側へ還元剤を添加する還元剤添加装置において、
空気中の酸素により前記還元剤を酸化させる反応室(20a)を形成し、前記酸化により前記還元剤を改質させる反応容器(20)と、
空気中の酸素からオゾンを生成するオゾン生成器(30)と、
前記オゾン生成器へ空気を送風するエアポンプ(30p)と、
前記オゾン生成器により生成されたオゾンを含んだ空気である含オゾン空気を、前記反応室へ導く含オゾン空気配管(26)と、
前記過給機により加圧された空気である加圧空気の一部を、前記反応室へ導く加圧空気配管(25)と、
前記含オゾン空気を前記反応室へ供給するエアポンプモード、および前記加圧空気を前記反応室へ供給する過給機モードを切り替える切替装置(25v、26v)と、
前記還元触媒の温度である触媒温度および前記排気通路の圧力である排気圧力に基づき、前記切替装置による切替作動を制御する切替制御手段(41a)と、
を備えることを特徴とする還元剤添加装置。 - 前記触媒温度に基づき、前記還元触媒上でのNOxの還元が可能な還元可能状態であるか否かを判定する還元可否判定手段(S21)と、
前記触媒温度に基づき、前記還元可能状態である時に前記含オゾン空気を前記反応室へ供給する必要がある還元時オゾン要求状態であるか否かを判定する還元時オゾン要否判定手段(S22)と、
前記排気圧力に基づき、前記エアポンプによる前記還元剤の前記排気通路への添加が可能な還元時低排圧状態であるか否かを判定する還元時エアポンプ可否判定手段(S23)と、

- 前記切替制御手段は、前記還元可能状態であり、かつ前記還元時オゾン要求状態でないと判定されていることに基づき、前記過給機モードに切り替えることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の還元剤添加装置。
- 前記触媒温度に基づき、前記還元触媒へのNOxの吸着が可能な吸着可能状態であるか否かを判定する吸着可否判定手段(S12)と、
前記触媒温度に基づき、前記吸着可能状態である時に前記含オゾン空気の添加が要求される吸着時オゾン要求状態であるか否かを判定する吸着時オゾン要否判定手段(S14)と、
前記排気圧力に基づき、前記エアポンプによる前記含オゾン空気の前記排気通路への添加が可能な吸着時低排圧状態であるか否かを判定する吸着時エアポンプ可否判定手段(S15)と、
を備え、
前記切替制御手段は、前記吸着可能状態、かつ前記吸着時オゾン要求状態、かつ前記吸着時低排圧状態と判定されていることに基づき、前記エアポンプモードに切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の還元剤添加装置。
