例16は、少なくとも一つの電極及び本体を含むカフに関する。本体は内側タブ、外側タブ、及び、内側タブと外側タブとが本体の両端を定義するように内側タブと外側タブとの間に延びる中間部を含み得て、少なくとも一つの電極が中間部上に配置され、本体は中間部に沿ってより狭くなり、内側タブ及び外側タブの各々に沿ってより広くなり、カフがコイル状配置をとるように本体がバイアスされ、対象物の周りに巻かれるため、コイル状配置から解かれるようにカフが構成される。
例18は、対象物の周りにカフを巻く方法に関するものであって、方法はカフを対象物に近接したコイル状配置に位置させることを含み、カフは本体及び少なくとも一つの電極を含み、本体は内側タブ、外側タブ、及び、内側タブと外側タブとの間に延びる中間部を含み、少なくとも一つの電極が中間部上に配置され、カフがコイル状配置をとるように本体がバイアスされる方法である。方法はカフを解くことをさらに含み得て、カフは第一管状部材に取り付けられる第一伸長要素を引っ張ることによって解かれ、第一管状部材はカフに囲まれる。内側タブが第一伸長要素に解放可能に取り付けられ、その後、カフに対象物の周りに巻かれることを許容するため、第一伸長要素との取り付けから内側タブを解放する一方で、方法は対象物を中間部に沿った本体の内表面に係合することをさらに含み得る。

Claims (15)
- 本体及び少なくとも一つの電極を含むカフであって、前記本体が内側タブ、外側タブ、及び前記内側タブと前記外側タブとの間に延びる中間部を含み、少なくとも一つの前記電極が前記中間部上に配置され、前記本体がコイル状配置をとるようにバイアスされ、前記コイル状配置において前記内側タブが前記カフの最も内側に配置され、かつ、前記外側タブが前記カフの最も外側に配置され、前記カフが前記コイル状配置から解かれるように構成されるカフと、
前記カフを解き、前記カフを対象物の周りに巻くように構成される器具であって、
前記カフが前記コイル状配置にあるときに前記カフによって囲まれる第一管状部材を含み、前記第一管状部材が前記カフに沿って回転して前記カフが解かれることと、
前記第一管状部材に取り付けられ、且つ、前記カフを解くため、前記第一管状部材を引っ張るように構成される第一伸長要素とを含む器具と、
を有するカフ刺激システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記カフが解かれるときに前記カフの前記第一管状部材からの脱落を防止するように、前記内側タブが前記第一伸長要素に係合するように構成されるシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムであって、前記カフの前記第一管状部材からの脱落を防止するため、前記内側タブが前記第一伸長要素に係合する一つ以上の突起を含むシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムであって、前記カフの前記第一管状部材からの脱落を防止するため、前記内側タブが前記第一伸長要素を受ける一つ以上の溝を含むシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムであって、前記内側タブが一つ以上の穴を含み、前記穴を通して前記第一伸長要素が前記第一管状部材を前記内側タブに取り付けるように延びるシステム。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記カフが内表面と、前記内表面の反対側にある外表面とを含み、一つ以上の前記電極が前記内表面上に配置され、前記カフが解かれるときに前記第一管状部材が前記内表面に沿って回転するシステム。
- 請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記カフが前記中間部に沿った第一の幅と、前記内側タブに沿った第二の幅とを有し、前記第一の幅が前記第二の幅と異なるシステム。
- 請求項7に記載のシステムであって、前記第一管状部材が前記第一の幅とほぼ同じで前記第二の幅より短い長さを有するシステム。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記第一伸長要素が糸であるシステム。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記第一伸長要素が剛性ワイヤであるシステム。
- 請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、
前記カフが前記コイル状配置にあるときに前記本体の少なくとも一部の下に位置する第二管状部材と、
前記第二管状部材に取り付けられる第二伸長要素であって、前記カフを解くため、前記第二伸長要素が前記第二管状部材を引っ張るように構成され、前記第一伸長要素及び前記第二伸長要素を反対方向に引っ張ることによって前記カフが解かれる第二伸長要素と、
を前記器具がさらに含むシステム。 - 請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記カフを解くため、前記第一管状部材を前記本体の少なくとも一部の上で回転させるように、ユーザに前記第一伸長要素を引っ張ることを許容するハンドルを前記第一伸長要素が含むシステム。
- 請求項1〜12の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記本体がベース層及びバイアス層によって形成されるシステム。
- 請求項13に記載のシステムであって、前記バイアス層が前記本体の一つ以上の端部に近接してテーパ状にされるシステム。
- 請求項1〜14の何れか一項に記載のシステムであって、前記本体の端部に沿って補強ストリップが備えられるシステム。
