Description
図4A及び4Bに概ね図示した型式のライティングアセンブリを形成した。ライティングアセンブリの冷却フィンはアルミニウム(6061アルミニウム)であり、中空の矩形チャンバを有する(250mm×150mm×7mmの外径及び1mmの壁厚)。放射熱伝導を高めるために、冷却フィンの外側には高放射率のUltra Flat Black塗料(RUST−OLEUM)を塗布した。
ライティングシステムは、実施例1に記述した型式の10のライティングアセンブリから作製した。ライティングシステムの個々のライティングアセンブリのそれぞれの性能が実施例1に記述した単一のライティングアセンブリの性能とほぼ同じであることを検証するために、表IIIに示すように、異なる3つの電流レベルで脱気した後に、個々のライティングアセンブリのそれぞれの光出力をライティングアセンブリ内部に残っている流体の量を用いて測定した。
実施例2のライティングシステムの隣接するライティングアセンブリの間に、放射板(Ultra Flat Black塗料(RUST−OLEUM)を塗布した237mm×170mm×3mmのアルミニウム)を配置した。放射板は、それぞれのライティングアセンブリからの対流熱伝導の有意な低下を避けるために配置された。放射板の目的は、ライティングアセンブリからの放射熱を吸収し、自然対流によって熱を周囲に伝達することである。放射板は冷却フィンより約25.4mm高く、理論的にはこれによってライティングシステムからの放射熱伝導は増加しなくてはならない。冷却フィン上の塗料は理論的には冷却フィン表面の放射率を増加しなくてはならない。
Claims (2)
- 光を発する少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードと、
前記少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードが発した光を方向付けるとともに、前記発光ダイオードに隣接して配置される光学系と、
沸騰面を備えた二相冷却系を包含する中空部を有する冷却フィンと、
隣接する前記冷却フィンの間に配置された少なくとも1つの熱放射板と、を有し、
前記二相冷却系の前記沸騰面が、前記発光ダイオードからの熱を除去するように前記少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードに隣接して配置され、前記熱放射板は前記冷却フィンよりも薄く、前記熱放射板と前記冷却フィンは互いに平行に延びる、ライティングアセンブリ。 - 前記熱放射板は、前記発光ダイオードに取り付けられていない、請求項1に記載のライティングアセンブリ。
