Description
Claims (19)
- 双方向カニューレフィーチャ捕捉機構であって、
近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素および遠位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素を有する内側ハウジングと、
前記内側ハウジングを摺動式に受け入れるように適合された外側ハウジングと、
前記内側ハウジング内に延び、近位係合表面および遠位係合表面を有するカニューレフィーチャを含むカニューレと
を備え、
前記カニューレが前記内側ハウジング内で近位に移動するのに伴って、前記近位係合表面が、前記近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素に接触したとき、前記内側ハウジングが、前記カニューレ先端部を遮蔽するように構成されることを特徴とする機構。 - 前記カニューレ先端部が遮蔽されたとき、前記内側ハウジングを前記外側ハウジングに係止するための手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。
- 前記外側ハウジングは、前記カニューレ先端部が遮蔽されないとき、カテーテルアダプタと結合するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。
- 前記内側ハウジングは、第1の材料を含み、前記外側ハウジングは、前記第1の材料より可撓性が小さい第2の材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。
- 前記カニューレフィーチャは、フェルールフィーチャ、クリンプフィーチャ、および切り欠かれたクリンプフィーチャ、および切欠きフィーチャから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。
- 前記外側ハウジングは、前記近位係合表面が前記近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素に接触し、前記カニューレの前記先端部が、前記外側ハウジングの遠位端部を過ぎて近位に移動されたとき、前記カニューレ先端部を遮蔽するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。
- 前記外側ハウジングは、前記カニューレ先端部が遮蔽されたとき、前記アダプタとの結合が解除するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の機構。
- 前記カニューレは、前記内側ハウジング内のポートを通って延在し、前記内側ハウジングの前記ポートは、前記カニューレが前記ポートを通って近位に移動するときに前記カニューレ上の流体を拭き取るように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。
- 前記カニューレフィーチャは、前記カニューレの外径を過ぎて横方向に延在する表面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機構。

前記カニューレが前記内側ハウジング内で近位に移動するのに伴って、前記近位係合表面が、前記近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素に接触したとき、前記内側ハウジングが、前記カニューレ先端部を遮蔽するように構成される、カニューレフィーチャ捕捉機構を備え、
前記横断障壁は、前記カニューレが遮蔽された位置にあるとき、前記内側ハウジング内に血液を保持することを特徴とする機器。 - 前記外側ハウジングは、カテーテルアダプタに結合されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の機器。
- 前記カニューレ先端部が遮蔽されたとき、前記内側ハウジングを前記外側ハウジングに係止するための手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の機器。
- 前記外側ハウジングは、前記近位係合表面が前記近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素に接触し、前記カニューレ先端部が、前記外側ハウジングの遠位端部を過ぎて近位に移動されたとき、前記カニューレ先端部を遮蔽するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の機器。
- 前記カニューレフィーチャは、切り欠かれたクリンプフィーチャを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の機器。

双方向カニューレフィーチャ捕捉機構を提供するステップであって、前記双方向カニューレフィーチャ捕捉機構が、
近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素および遠位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素を有する内側ハウジングであって、外側ハウジングによって摺動式に受け入れられる、内側ハウジングと、
前記内側ハウジング内に延び、近位係合表面および遠位係合表面を有するカニューレフィーチャを含むカニューレと、
前記カニューレ先端部が遮蔽されたとき、前記内側ハウジングを前記外側ハウジングに係止するための手段と
を備える、ステップと、
前記カニューレが前記内側ハウジング内で近位に移動するのに伴って、前記近位係合表面が、前記近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素に接触したとき、前記内側ハウジングが、前記カニューレ先端部を遮蔽するように構成するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記カニューレフィーチャは、切り欠かれたクリンプフィーチャを含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記外側ハウジングは、前記近位係合表面が前記近位のカニューレフィーチャ接合構成要素に接触し、前記カニューレ先端部が、前記外側ハウジングの遠位端部を過ぎて近位に移動したとき、前記カニューレ先端部を遮蔽するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。

- 前記内側ハウジングは、前記カニューレが、前記内側ハウジングによって遮蔽されたとき、前記カニューレ先端部を覆うように適合された少なくとも1つの横断障壁を備えることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
