Description
このような発光ダイオードはパッケージ化されて多様な色を放出する発光装置で用いられていて、照明器具の分野で光源として活発な研究が行われている。
一方、前記フレーム110上に前記発光ダイオード120を保護するためのツェナーダイオード(未図示)が設けられることもできる。
前記発光ダイオード120は前記フレーム110を通じて電源の供給を受けることができる。
図示しないが、前記反射板130と前記フレーム110は締結手段によって結合されることができる。前記締結手段は締結部材または接着部材によってなることができる。
これと異なって、前記反射板130から前記反射突出部140の高さbは前記フレーム110から前記反射板130のもっとも遠い地点までの垂直高さcより大きいこともできる。
このような構造の発光装置100は間接照明装置で用いられることができる。
ここで、図5に図示された発光装置200は、第1実施例で説明した部分と同一の構成に対して同一の図面符号を付与し、これに対する詳細な説明も省略する。
これによって、前記発光装置200によって照射された光の有効照明領域はホットスポット(hot spot)が除去され、光の輝度分布が改善される。
Claims (14)
- 開口部を有するリングの形状のフレーム;
前記フレーム上に配置された少なくとも一つ以上の発光ダイオード;
内側に半球の形状の反射面を有し、前記発光ダイオードを覆い、前記発光ダイオードから照射された光を反射させる反射板;及び
前記反射面の中心から前記開口部に向けて突出された円錐の形状の反射突出部を含み、
前記発光ダイオードから出射された光は、前記反射板と前記反射突出部によって反射され、前記開口部を介して出射され、
前記反射突出部の底面の直径は、前記発光ダイオードの中心と前記半球の中心間の距離より小さく、
以下の式を充足する発光装置。
(ここで、yは前記反射突出部の底面から頂点までの高さを表し、Hは前記半球の半径を表し、Rは前記発光ダイオードの中心と前記半球の中心間の距離を表し、θは前記発光ダイオードの指向角の半分の角度を表す。) - 前記少なくとも一つ以上の発光ダイオードによって出射された光は前記開口部を通過する前に前記反射板及び前記反射突出部によって反射されるように、前記反射突出部は前記反射板から前記開口部に向けて突出される請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記反射突出部は前記反射面と接する請求項1または2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記反射突出部は前記反射面に形成される請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記反射面及び前記反射突出部の表面のうち少なくとも一つはパターンを有する請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記パターンは凹凸パターンであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発光装置。
- 放熱部をさらに含み、
前記フレーム及び前記放熱部は円形であり、前記放熱部は前記フレームの外側のまわりをくるむ請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記フレームは前記放熱部と一体に形成したり、互いに連結された構造で形成された請求項7に記載の発光装置。
- 前記フレームは前記反射板から脱付着が可能である請求項1ないし8のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記フレームの外側の一部に形成された放熱部をさらに含む請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記フレームは外側面を含み、前記放熱部は前記フレームの前記外側面の外部に突出される請求項10に記載の発光装置。
- 前記フレーム及び前記放熱部は円形である請求項11に記載の発光装置。
- 前記パターンは粗い面であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発光装置。
- 前記反射突出部は、前記発光ダイオードから直接照射された入射光を前記反射板に反射させ、
前記入射光は、前記開口部を通過する前に前記反射板によって少なくとも一度以上反射される請求項1ないし13のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
