Claims (7)
- 板ガラスの面方向に延びる切断予定線に沿って表面側からレーザーを照射し、前記板ガラスを切断する板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法であって、
前記板ガラスの表裏面のうち、少なくとも一方の面側で、面に沿って平行に流れる平行流れが形成されるように整形ガスを噴射し、前記板ガラスの切断の進行方向と交差する方向に沿った前記平行流れに前記レーザーの照射部を通過させると共に、
切断後の両板ガラスのうち、前記整形ガスの噴射元側に位置する板ガラスを製品とし、噴射先側に位置する板ガラスを非製品とすることを特徴とする板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。 - 前記整形ガスを前記板ガラスの表面側でのみ噴射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。
- 前記整形ガスの噴射方向と、前記板ガラスの表裏面とが平行であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。
- 前記整形ガスを噴射する噴射口を備えたガス噴射部材を設け、前記噴射口は前記板ガラスの表裏面と平行な方向に幅広な形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。
- 前記板ガラスの厚みが500μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。
- 前記板ガラスの表面に対して傾斜した方向から前記レーザーの照射部に向かってアシストガスを噴射することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。
- 前記レーザーをレンズで集光して照射すると共に、該レーザーの照射方向に沿ってガスを噴射することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の板ガラスのレーザー溶断方法。
