Description

The present invention relates to an apparatus in which a length measuring device and a cutting machine are integrated .

For measuring the length of an article, there are a method using a tape measure, a ruler, etc., a method using a length measuring machine, and the like. As such a length measuring device, as shown in FIG. 5, a moving body 63 that is movable in the length direction of the workpiece W placed on the base 70 is brought into contact with the end surface of the workpiece W. A device is disclosed in which a contact portion 64 is provided and the length of the workpiece W is measured by measuring the distance between the contact portion 64 and an end portion on the base 70 (for example, Patent Document 1). reference).

However, the length measuring device described in Patent Document 1 simply measures the length of the object to be measured by bringing the contact part into contact with the object to be measured. Therefore, when performing processing such as bending or cutting the object to be measured at a predetermined position, that is, when processing the object to be measured placed on the base in contact with the contact part, There was a risk of damage to the machine. Specifically, if the object to be measured is thin, there is no particular problem, but if the object to be measured is thick, the object to be measured is tilted from the processing position by bending or cutting, and the end surface of the object to be measured comes into contact. Since the portion is pushed up, there is a possibility that the contact portion receiving a sudden force from the object to be measured and the member supporting the contact portion may be damaged.

Accordingly, the present invention is, force applied from steel during processing can be properly released, also by suppressing the inclination during processing of the steel material, not only you can measure the length of safety steel, Ya breakage of the rotary cutter It is an object of the present invention to provide an apparatus in which a length measuring device and a cutting machine that can prevent wear are integrated.

To solve the above problems, apparatus integrated length measuring device and the cutter according to claim 1 of the present invention, those on the end surface of the steel material disposed along the rail while being movably guided in rails A length measuring device having a measuring device capable of measuring the steel material by contacting and detecting a moving distance on the rail , and a cutting machine fixed to the length measuring device and cutting the steel material after the length measurement. An integrated device,
In the measuring instrument, the main rod portion provided with the contact member capable of contacting the end face of the steel material is held by the connecting body so as to be movable by a predetermined distance along the moving direction of the measuring instrument,
The main rod portion is provided with one end thereof on the contact member and the other end is provided on the connecting body, and the longitudinal direction is arranged along the moving direction,
The connection body is disposed so as to be swingable in a vertical plane perpendicular to the moving direction,
The measuring instrument has a clamp lever that locks its movement,
While providing a spring for urging the main rod part to the steel material in the direction of the cutting machine ,
When measuring the steel material, the moving distance of the measuring device from the cutting machine is matched with the required length of the steel material, the movement of the measuring device is locked by the clamp lever, and the steel material placed on the cutting machine is The steel material is conveyed until it comes into contact with the contact member,
The cutting machine includes a cutting table on which a steel material is placed, and a rotary cutter that cuts the steel material by lowering the steel material placed on the cutting table from above to the cutting table.

According to the configuration of the apparatus in which the length measuring device and the cutting machine are integrated, the contact guide body included in the contact member that contacts the end surface of the steel material is movably provided, and the contact guide body is biased toward the steel material side. For example, even when the steel material is tilted when measuring and cutting the steel material to a predetermined length, the force acting on the contact member can be appropriately released from the tilted steel material. Further, the inclination can be suppressed, so that not only the length of the steel can be measured safely, but also the breakage and wear of the rotary cutter can be prevented .

Below, the length measuring device 1 which concerns on the Example of this invention is demonstrated based on FIGS. 1-4.
Hereinafter, a length measuring device for measuring a length of steel material (hereinafter referred to as a workpiece, which is an example of an article) will be described as an example.

This length measuring device measures the length from the end of the workpiece to the cutting location in advance in order to cut the workpiece to a required length. Therefore, normally, as shown in FIG. 1, the length measuring device 1 is fixed on a cutting machine 15 for cutting a workpiece while being mounted on a support conveyor 10 on which the workpiece is placed. Hereinafter, the cutting machine 15 side as viewed from the length measuring device 1 is referred to as a rear direction, the opposite side is defined as a front direction, and a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction on a horizontal plane is described as a left-right direction.

More specifically, based on FIGS. 1 and 2, the length measuring device 1 includes a rail (an example of a guide member) 2 arranged in the front-rear direction, which is a direction for measuring a workpiece, and the rail 2. The measuring device 3 is guided so as to be movable in the front-rear direction, and the abutment device 4 is held by the measuring device 3 and abuts against the workpiece when measuring the workpiece.

Guide grooves 22 are formed on the upper surface and the left and right side surfaces of the rail 2 in the longitudinal direction, which is the length direction of the rail 2, and a guide roller (not shown) provided in the measuring instrument 3 is guided by the guide grooves 22. The Although not shown, the guide groove 22 is provided with a magnetic strip extending in the front-rear direction. This magnetic strip is detected by a sensor (not shown) of the measuring instrument 3 and the moving distance of the measuring instrument 3 is measured. The A drop-off prevention member 21 for preventing the measuring instrument 3 from moving forward from the front end of the rail 2 is attached to the upper surface of the front end portion of the rail 2.

As shown in FIG. 2, the measuring instrument 3 is supported by a main body 30 that is guided by the rail 2 and can move on the rail 2, and a mounting arm 36 that is attached to the upper surface of the main body 30. A display unit 35 for displaying a moving distance of the unit 30 on the rail 2, a moving grip 33 provided on the upper surface of the main unit 30 for manually moving the main unit 30 on the rail 2, and a left side surface of the main unit 30. And a clamp lever 34 that locks the movement of the main body 30. The moving distance of the main body 30 displayed on the display unit 35 is measured by detecting the magnetic strip with a sensor provided in the main body 30.

The abutment device 4 includes a connecting body 40 disposed so as to be swingable in a vertical plane via a support shaft 42 attached in the front-rear direction on the right side surface of the main body 30, a main rod portion 51, and a sub rod portion 44 (whichever Through-holes for guiding in the front-rear direction and a guide support plate 43 attached to the rear side surface of the connection body 40, and passing through the guide support plate 43 and the connection body 40 in the front-rear direction. The main rod portion (which is an example of a contact guide body) 51 disposed on the front end and a spring whose front end is attached to the outer periphery of the main rod through hole of the guide support plate 43 and urges the main rod portion 51 in the rearward direction. 52 (which is an example of an urging means), and the front end portion is passed through the auxiliary rod through hole of the guide support plate 43, and the rear end face is attached to a contact block (described later) 45 together with the main rod portion 51. Contact block 45 A sub-rod portion 44 that is movable in the front-rear direction, and a contact block (an example of a contact member) whose front surface is attached to the rear end surfaces of the main rod portion 51 and the sub-rod portion 44 so that the rear surface can contact the workpiece. 45).

Here, the main rod portion 51 will be described in detail. The main rod portion 51 includes a stopper ring 53 for receiving a backward biasing force by the spring 52 and a drop prevention ring 55 for preventing the main rod portion 51 from dropping from the connecting body 40 by the biasing force by the spring 52. A drop-off preventing ring 55 and a buffer ring 56 that absorbs an impact caused by the collision of the connecting body 40 are attached. The stopper ring 53 has a structure in which the fixing position of the main rod portion 51 in the front-rear direction can be freely adjusted so that the urging force by the spring 52 can be adjusted. For example, by adopting a structure in which the stopper ring 53 is fixed to the main rod portion 51 with a screw 54, the fixing position can be freely adjusted in the front-rear direction.

Next, the relationship between the main body 30 of the measuring device 3 and the connection body 40 of the contact device 4 will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is a partially cutaway sectional view of the central section in the front-rear direction of the main body 30 and the connection body 40 as viewed from the rear to the front. As shown in FIG. 3, the connection body 40 is formed with a projection 41 toward the main body 30, and the main body 30 is formed with a notch 31 on the surface facing the connection body 40. The connection body 40 is arranged so that 41 enters the notch 31. Further, a restriction bolt 32 is screwed into the main body 30 from above, and a lower portion of the restriction bolt 32 is protruded from the upper end surface of the notch 31, and the protrusion 41 is restricted by the lower end surface of the restriction bolt 32. Thus, the rotation of the connection body 40 in the direction in which the guide support plate 43 moves downward is restricted. On the other hand, since the notch 31 is formed in such a size that the lower end surface thereof does not come into contact with the protrusion 41, the connecting body 40 can be rotated in the direction in which the guide support plate 43 moves upward.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 1, a support conveyor 10 for placing a workpiece is disposed in the frame portion 11 in the front-rear direction in which steel materials are assembled in a frame shape, and supports the workpiece while being disposed in the frame portion 11. And a plurality of rollers 12 that can be conveyed in the front-rear direction, and a telescopic leg portion 13 that supports the gantry 11. The length measuring device 1 is fixed onto the support conveyor 10 by a holding metal fitting 14 that connects the gantry 11 of the support conveyor 10 and the rail 2.

The cutting machine 15 includes a cutting table 16 on which the workpiece is placed, a cutter unit 18 having a rotary cutter 19 for cutting the workpiece placed on the cutting table 16, and the cutter unit 18 above the cutting table 16. And a lever portion 17 that can hold and lower the cutter portion 18.

Hereinafter, workpiece length measurement and workpiece cutting using the length measuring device 1 will be described.
First, in order to obtain a state as shown in FIG. 1, the length measuring device 1 is arranged on the support conveyor 10 by a crane or the like and fixed by the holding metal fitting 14. Then, the length measuring device 1 is arranged in front of the cutting machine 15, and the expansion and contraction of the leg column 13 of the support conveyor 10 is adjusted so that the upper surface of the cutting table 16 and the upper end of the roller 12 of the support conveyor 10 are flush with each other. Thereafter, the cutting machine 15 and the length measuring device 1 are fixed.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4A, the cutter unit 18 is lowered by the lever unit 17 of the cutting machine 15, and the measuring instrument 3 is moved backward by manually holding the moving grip 33 of the measuring instrument 3. Then, the rear surface of the contact block 45 is brought into light contact with the front surface of the rotary cutter 19 (so that the spring 52 does not contract). In order to use this position as a reference, a reset button (not shown) provided on the display unit 35 is pressed to reset measurement by the sensor. As a result, “0” is displayed as the movement distance on the display unit 35.

Thereafter, the measuring instrument 3 is moved in the forward direction while confirming the moving distance displayed on the display unit 35. If the displayed moving distance matches the required workpiece length, the movement of the measuring instrument 3 is stopped, the movement of the measuring instrument 3 is locked by the clamp lever 34, and the measuring instrument 3 is fixed on the rail 2. To do.

Then, as shown in FIG. 4B, the work W is placed on the upper surfaces of the cutting table 16 and the roller 12, and the work W is moved forward until the work W lightly contacts the rear surface of the contact block 45. Transport. When the work W pushes the contact block 45 and the spring 52 contracts due to this conveyance, the work W is gradually returned backward until the spring 52 does not contract.

The work W is measured by the above operation. That is, the length from the front end of the workpiece W to the scheduled cutting position matches the required length of the workpiece W.
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 4C, the cutter portion 18 is lowered by the lever portion 17, and the workpiece W is cut by the rotary cutter 19. At the time of this cutting, the workpiece W is tilted from the cutting location, and the front end surface of the workpiece W pushes up the contact block 45 from the rear direction, but the contact block 45 moves forward and releases the force received from the workpiece W. Further, the contact block 45 moved in the forward direction pushes back the workpiece W in the backward direction by the biasing force of the spring 52.

On the other hand, when the length measuring device 1 is not used, as shown in FIG. 3, the connecting body 40 is rotated in the direction in which the guide support plate 43 moves upward, and the abutment device 4 is moved toward the measuring device 3 side. Thus, when other work is performed on the support conveyor 10, the abutment device 4 does not interfere.

Thus, even if the contact device 4 is fixed on the rail 2 together with the measuring device 3 by the clamp lever 34, the contact block 45 can move forward, so that the force received from the workpiece W being cut is released. Thus, damage to the length measuring device 1 can be prevented. Further, when the workpiece W is inclined, the contact block 45 pushes the workpiece W backward by the urging force of the spring 52, so that the cut workpiece W can be prevented from jumping and the inclination of the workpiece W during cutting can be suppressed. Thus, the rotating cutter 19 can be prevented from being damaged or worn. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent the length measuring device 1 from interfering with other work by rotating the connecting body 40 and bringing the abutment device 4 toward the measuring device 3 side.
