Description
Claims (9)
- 第1デバイスが、複数の相異なるコーデックのうち少なくとも一つのコーデックを用いて圧縮された少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツを、第2デバイスに伝送する方法において、
少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツの圧縮に用いられる複数のコーデックの識別子を含み、前記複数のコーデックのうち少なくとも一つのコーデックの使用承認を要請するコーデック選択要請フレームを、前記第2デバイスに伝送する段階と、
前記複数のコーデックのうち少なくとも一つのコーデックの使用承認如何を表す少なくとも一つの承認情報を含むコーデック選択応答フレームを、前記第2デバイスから受信する段階と、
前記コーデック選択応答フレームに基づいて、前記使用承認された少なくとも一つのコーデックにより圧縮された少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツを、前記第2デバイスに伝送する段階と、を含み、
前記コーデック選択要請フレームは、前記第1デバイスが伝送する少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツの識別子を含む、
ことを特徴とするメディアコンテンツ伝送方法。 - 前記第1デバイスまたは前記第2デバイスが支援する前記複数のコーデックの識別子は、前記コーデックを提供する少なくとも一つのコーデックベンダーの識別子、及び前記コーデックベンダーによって定義された形式を持つ、少なくとも一つのコーデックの識別子の組み合わせで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメディアコンテンツ伝送方法。
- 前記コーデック選択要請フレームは、
前記コーデック選択要請フレームが、前記第1デバイスが伝送するメディアコンテンツに適用されるコーデックの選択を要請するためのフレームであるということを表すフレーム識別子と、前記第1デバイスが伝送するメディアコンテンツの数を表すコンテンツ数情報とのうち、少なくとも一つをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメディアコンテンツ伝送方法。 - 前記コーデック選択応答フレームは、
前記コーデック選択応答フレームが、前記コーデック選択要請フレームに対する応答フレームであるということを表すフレーム識別子、前記第2デバイスが受信するメディアコンテンツの数を表すコンテンツ数情報、及び前記第2デバイスが受信する少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツの識別子のうち、少なくとも一つをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメディアコンテンツ伝送方法。 - 第2デバイスに、複数の相異なるコーデックのうち少なくとも一つのコーデックを用いて圧縮された、少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツを伝送する第1デバイスにおけるメディアコンテンツ伝送装置において、
少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツの圧縮に用いられる複数のコーデックの識別子を含み、前記複数のコーデックのうち少なくとも一つのコーデックの使用承認を要請するコーデック選択要請フレームを、前記第2デバイスに伝送する伝送部と、
前記複数のコーデックのうち少なくとも一つのコーデックの使用承認如何を表す少なくとも一つの承認情報を含むコーデック選択応答フレームを、前記第2デバイスから受信する受信部と、を備え、
前記伝送部は、前記コーデック選択応答フレームに基づいて、前記使用承認された少なくとも一つのコーデックにより圧縮された少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツを、前記第2デバイスに伝送し、
前記コーデック選択要請フレームは、前記第1デバイスが伝送する少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツの識別子を含む、
ことを特徴とするメディアコンテンツ伝送装置。 - 前記第1デバイスまたは前記第2デバイスが支援する前記複数のコーデックの識別子は、前記コーデックを提供する少なくとも一つのコーデックベンダーの識別子、及び前記コーデックベンダーによって定義された形式を持つ少なくとも一つのコーデックの識別子の組み合わせで構成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のメディアコンテンツ伝送装置。
- 前記コーデック選択要請フレームは、
前記コーデック選択要請フレームが、前記第1デバイスが伝送するメディアコンテンツに適用されるコーデックの選択を要請するためのフレームであるということを表すフレーム識別子と、前記第1デバイスが伝送するメディアコンテンツの数を表すコンテンツ数情報とのうち、少なくとも一つをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のメディアコンテンツ伝送装置。 - 前記コーデック選択応答フレームは、
前記コーデック選択応答フレームが、前記コーデック選択要請フレームに対する応答フレームであるということを表すフレーム識別子、前記第2デバイスが受信するメディアコンテンツの数を表すコンテンツ数情報、及び前記第2デバイスが受信する少なくとも一つのメディアコンテンツの識別子のうち、少なくとも一つをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のメディアコンテンツ伝送装置。 - 請求項1ないし4のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法を行わせるためのプログラムが記録されたコンピュータで読み取り可能な記録媒体。
